Jones -- Albert (Al) H. Jones, 75, of Phoenix, AZ, and formally from Albuquerque, passed away suddenly Sunday, October 20, 2002. Al, husband to Nancy Jones in Phoenix, AZ, is survived by his first wife, Doris R. Jones of Albuquerque; seven children, Charles Jones, Phoenix, AZ, Leona Collins, Albuquerque, Tim Jones, Tulsa, OK, Doris Murphy, Cincinnati, OH, Lucille Brasher, Albuquerque, Douglas Jones, Albuquerque, and Rosie Jones, Atlanta, GA. He is preceded in death by his youngest son, Jerry Jones, Albuquerque. Also surviving are nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Al, president of Rio Grande Metals while living in Albuquerque in the 1970s, was an avid golfer while a member at Paradise Hills Country Club. Once he retired he continued his passion for golf, his home and garden. Services will be held in Phoenix, AZ on Thursday, October 24, 2002.
