Burum -- Josephine Burum, 82, a resident of Boulder, CO, and a former resident of Albuquerque, NM and Shawnee, OK, passed away Monday, October 21, 2002. She is survived by two sisters, Helen Midkiff of Coalgate, OK and Juanita Hobgood of Cottonwood, OK; her daughter, Sharon Baker and husband, Jerry of Westminster, CO; son, Ronnie Burum and wife, Connie of Bedford, TX; grandsons, Brett Baker and wife, Tina of Broomfield, CO and Blake Burum and wife, Mary Ellen of Bedford, TX; granddaughter, Codye Burum of Euless, TX; four great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Baker, Zachary Baker, Collin Burum and Tessa Burum. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Burum. Josephine was actively involved in Senior Olympics Race-Walking. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 25, 2002, at 10:00 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Friday, October 25, 2002, from 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Josephine's memory to the Alzheimers Association, 8100 Mountain Rd NE, Suite 102, 87110.
