Gallegos -- Jose B. Gallegos"Benny", 56, a resident of Albuquerque since 1976, died Wednesday, October 23, 2002. He was born July 28, 1946 in Ft. Sumner, NM. Mr. Gallegos is survived by his wife of 37 years, JoAnn; son, Gilbert Gallegos and wife, Charlotte; daughters, Yvette Duran and husband, Steven and Libbye Alvarado and husband, Brian; parents, Benerito and Rosarito Gallegos; sisters, Dolores Gonzales, Bersey Romero, Betty Zamora, Vivian Trujillo, Mary Martinez, Priscilla Hidalgo, Annette Escobar and Lorraine Trexler; grandchildren, Teddy, Andrew, Tonya, Victoria, Gino, Lydia, Celena and Keith; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother -in-law, Teodoro and Mela Casaus; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Romero. Rosary will be recited Friday, October 25, 2002, at 7:00 p.m., at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 26, 2002, at 10:00 a.m., also at Risen Savior Catholic Community. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be George Casaus, Santiago Hidalgo, Henry Casaus, Mario Trujillo, Steven Duran and Brian Alvarado. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe R. Gallegos, Jake Lucero, Ray Zamora, Teddy Duran, Andrew Gallegos, Gino Duran and Keith Alvarado. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Friday, October 25, 2002, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
