Vivar -- Randolph Vivar, passed away on November 12, 2002 in his home from a heart attack. Randy was a decorated Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. Born to Jesus and Victoria Vivar in Los Angeles, CA on April 27, 1940. Randy was a Security Police officer in the Air Force for 11 years. He was in the U.S. Army for 5 years in the Reserve and retired with Honorable Discharge in 1990. Randy was in Mounted Patrol in New Mexico and was also a Commission Sheriff for Valencia County. Randy retired from the Department of Labor after 25 years of service. Randy was an active member of Calvary Temple where he served in a variety of ministries. Randy spent his whole life serving other people and protecting his country. He is survived by his wife, Gie Vivar; brother, Robert Vivar and family of California and 3 daughters, Michelle, Angela and Fawn, and 1 son, Randy and several grandchildren. Service will take place on Monday, November 18, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Temple Assembly of God, 5331 Montano NW, with Pastor Micheal Dickenson, officiating. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. The family asks that memorial donations be made to the Calvary Temple, 5331 Montano NW, Albuquerque, NM, designated for Philippines Missions. Friends may visit French Mortuary - Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course (3 blocks N. of Paseo del Norte) on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
