Luna -- David A. Luna Sr., 73, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home with his loving family at his side on November 14, 2002. Mr. Luna is survived by one son, David Luna Jr. and Tish Jones; one daughter, Linda Garza and husband Joe; one sister, Agnes Mc Alear; ten grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Luna was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Luna, 1998, a daughter, Stella Gutierrez and a grandson, Angelo Garza. Mr. Luna was a member of the Catholic Church, a member of the V.F.W. Post 72, a member of the D.A.V., American Legion and a member of the Zapata Club. Mr. Luna was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and U. S. Navy serving in Korean War and World War I I. A visitation for Mr. Luna will be Sunday afternoon from 1:30pm until 2:00pm in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW with a Rosary to be recited at 2:00pm by Gabriella Nieto. A final visitation will be Monday morning from 10:30am until 11:00am at Our Lady of The Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00am by Father Joel Garner, O. Pream. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Military Honors by the D.A.V. Chapter 3. Pallbearers will be Bennie Romero, Manny Vigil, Prosper Sanitize, Dean Harman, Bobby Ulna and Tony Novelette. Honorary pallbearer will be, Emoter Rudolf. Honorary Pallbearer will be Salamon Aguilar. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW in charge of the arrangements.
