Jimenez -- Consuelo (Connie) R. Jimenez passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2002 in Albuquerque, NM at the age of 79. Connie was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.� She was born in El Paso, Texas and lived there with her family for 72 years.� The last seven years she lived with her two sons and their families.� Connie was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Joe V. Jimenez; mother, Guadalupe Mendias; father, Jose Benito Rodriguez; and granddaughter, McKenna. She is survived by her sons, Joe R. and wife, Rebecca of Albuquerque and Michael A. and wife, Keats living in Lima, Peru; sister, Magdelena (Nena) Gonzalez and husband, Ignacio of El Paso; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Matthew and Katherine, all of Albuquerque, Sarah and husband Micah Jarvis of Orem, UT, Elder Joshua Jimenez of California Sacramento Mission and Jens, Tazh and Reese Jimenez of Lima Peru; and numerous other family members and friends.� Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Thursday, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.� Services will be held Saturday, 12:00 noon, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in El Paso, TX.� Interment will take place on Monday, at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.� Arrangements by French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
