Davis -- Sherrell S.R. Davis, 72, a resident of Albuquerque for 46 years, who spent his life in service for others, died Monday, November 18, 2002. He was known for his integrity and honesty in the local car sales market. His last years were spent doing what he dearly loved, working for the Quality Dealerships by DiLorenzo. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and customers. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Kay Davis; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Lorrie Davis; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Steve Murphy; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild, all of Albuquerque; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph and Mildred Davis of Brownwood, TX and Haskell and Barbara Davis of Del City, OK; and a number of nieces and nephews. Mr. Davis was a lifetime member of the Albuquerque Breakfast Civitan Club. Services will be held Saturday, November 23, 2002, at 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Pastor Jack Stricklan officiating. Interment will take place Monday, November 25, 2002, at 10:00 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Friday, November 22, 2002, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
