Miranda -- Edith"Edie" Fyffe Miranda, 48, passed away November 21, 2002 at UNM Medical Center with loving friends and"family" at her side. Edie is survived by her sister, Jan Fyffe of Fairborn, OH; she was preceded in death by both parents, William and Esta Fyffe of Fairborn, OH. Edie's"family" also included many loving friends and her"daughter" and"grandson", Rebecca and Daemon. Edie was the most courageous woman her friends had ever known. She tried to live a life worthy of love and respect, taking great emotional risks and opening her heart to others. One of her great passions was literature and she enjoyed all forms of the arts. Edie especially loved her work with ACLOA and the Adobe Theater. Edie's passing will leave a void in the lives of friends she loved and who loved her, Kathy, Susan, Jerry, Rose, Rich, Mary, Dennis, Jennifer, Carmen, Deniece and many others. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 23, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Heights First Nazarene Church in Albuquerque.
