Michelbach -- Richard Anthony Michelbach, age 66, a resident of Albuquerque, NM for 66 years, has gone with Our Lord Jesus Christ on this day, November 27, 2002. A veteran of the United States Army, Lalo was an avid outdoorsman and also enjoyed playing boleros on his guitar. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Piedad Michelbach; and two sisters, Florence Flores and Martha Saavedra. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Michelbach; three children, Rosalyn Torres, Richard JR Michelbach and wife, Anna, and Lawrence Michelbach; and four grandchildren, Nicole, Joshua, Rey and Brandon. He is also survived by three sisters, Rosie Peters and husband, Don of Shiner, Texas, Carmen Padilla of Albuquerque, and Helen Garcia and husband, Albino of Los Lunas; and also by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mr. Michelbach will be held on Tuesday at St. Anne Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Honored pallbearers will be Joshua Michelbach, Adrian Garcia, Rodney Armijo, Johnny Saavedra, Dennis Saavedra and Michael Saavedra. A Rosary for Mr. Michelbach will be recited on Monday evening at St. Anne Catholic Church at 7 p.m. Arrangements by Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
