Sanchez -- Jesus Sanchez, 80, went home to be with the Lord on November 26, 2002 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 26, 1922 in Atrisco, NM. Mr. Sanchez enjoyed woodwork, yard work and music. He also enjoyed standing at the pier in Malibu, CA and thinking of his days in the service. He is survived by his wife Rosemary K. Sanchez; children, Lawrence and Deann Sanchez of Westlake, Ca, Elise S. Sanchez of Albuq. and Charles J. Sanchez also of Albuq.; sisters, Luggie Montano and husband, Tom, and Enrica Gonzales and husband, Dan of Albuq.; brother, Tony Sanchez of Albuq.; six grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Mr. Sanchez will be deeply missed by his loving family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Peralta, NM. Interment will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Albuquerque. Services are in the care of: Garcia Mortuary 717 Stover Ave. S.W. 243-5222
