Vigil -- Patsy M. Vigil, 75, went home to be with the Lord on December 15, 2002. She was born on February 9, 1927 in Kelly, NM. Mrs. Vigil is survived by her husband of 52 years Bennie Vigil; sons Daniel Vigil and Bennie Vigil Jr.; daughters Helen Vigil Santos and Mary Daugherty and husband Steffen; sister Frances Molina, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Patsy was a strong Christian woman devoted to the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ. She enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a beloved wife, loving mother and caring grandmother. Visitations will be held on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Eighth Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary with a Evening Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. also in the Eighth Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Richard Molina, Raymond Molina, Joshua Vigil, Eduardo Vigil, Al Junior Vigil and Lawrence Sanchez.
