Sanchez -- Jose S. Sanchez, 85, passed away December 21, 2001. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Jose was preceded in death by his sons Francisco and Tobias Sanchez and is survived by his wife of 65 years, Juanita Sanchez; children, Valentine Sanchez, Maurilio Sanchez and wife, Viola, Erminio Sanchez and wife, Frances, Angie Jaramillo and husband, Richard, Rosie Benito, Irene Benito, Dennis Sanchez and wife, Rita; 24 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Fela Carriaga and Stella Boley; brother, Benjamin Sanchez; sisters-in-law, Leona Sanchez and Flora Sanchez; numerous other family and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Duranes Catholic Church Mission on Los Luceros Rd. NW. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26, 2001. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2001, with burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW.
