Cichon -- Walter Chichon, 86, a resident of Albuquerque since 1979, died Monday, December 24, 2001. He is survived by his dear friend, Ava Bertholomey of Albuquerque; and two granddaughters, Jennifer and Christine Preucil. Mr. Chichon was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Marie in 1975; and his daughter, Theresa Preucil in 1989. Walter was a longtime volunteer at Palo Dura Senior Citizens Center and a WWII Army Veteran. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
