Banes -- Clyde W. Banes, 66, a resident of Albuquerque since 1965, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2001. He is survived by his son, William Banes of Albuquerque; his daughters, Catherine Disch and husband, Eric of Albuquerque, and Debra Best and husband, Robert of Yuba City, CA; grandchildren, April Navarro and husband, Mekko of Albuquerque, Amelia Disch of Anchorage, Alaska, and Danielle Best and Austin Best, both of Yuba City, CA; and by his brother, Clinton Banes and his family of Huntsville, AL. Clyde retired from Yellow Freight in 1992. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2001, 1:00 p.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7500 Paseo del Norte NE. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choosing. Arrangements by French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
