Jory -- Louise "Weezie" (Naylor) Jory, 87, died peacefully February 8, 2001 at a Colorado Springs, Colorado Care Center. Born October 23, 1913 in Denver, to Percy and Freda (Kulp) Naylor. She married Edward Lewis Jory on October 10, 1935. The Jorys lived in Arizona and Idaho before coming to Albuquerque in 1951 where she was a homemaker and active at Albuquerque Country Club. She served as Western Regional Director for the Assistance League, and was active in many organizations. She was an avid skier of the Rockies, and loving friend to many."Weezie" may have been small in stature, but she was a giant in caring and kindness. Survivors include her husband Ed; two sons, James and wife, Marcia, and Robert"Hoot" and wife, Melissa; two brothers, Edward and wife, Frances, and Robert Naylor; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Lt. Edward L. Jory, Jr., USMC. Services held in Colorado Springs were handled by Pikes Peak Funeral and Cremation Services. Memorial contributions may be made to Boys and Girls Club of the Pikes Peak Region, 1445 S. Chelton Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
