Roybal -- Alejandro (Alex) Roybal went into the loving arms of our Lord on June 13, 2001, surrounded by all his loving family. Alex is survived by his loving wife, Elisa Proo Roybal of 53 years; by his children, Rosita Roybal Gallegos and husband, Michael, Carlos Roybal, and Alex Roybal and wife, Rebecca; his six grandchildren; and his brother, Arturo Jimenez and sister, Esther Collado. He is also survived by his special sisters-in-law, Margie Proo and Annie Jimenez; and by many special nieces, nephews and friends. He was a member of Queen of Heaven Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosa Jimenez and father, Alejandro Roybal; his brother, Albert and special sister-in-law, Mary Lou Roybal; and his sisters, Amy Chavez and Clara St. Laurent. Memorial Services for Mr. Roybal will be held on Saturday at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Church where the service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
