Naranjo -- Edward M. (Eddie) Naranjo, 30, a resident of Santa Clara Pueblo passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2001, from injuries he received in an automobile accident. Eddie was a very talented artist and potter. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and he was an avid 94 Rock listener. He is survived by his parents, Edward and Gracie Naranjo of Santa Clara Pueblo; two sisters, Teresa Naranjo and Tracy Naranjo; a niece, Iris Naranjo all of Santa Clara Pueblo; aunts and uncles, Stella Chavarria and husband, Loretto (Cruzie), Mida Tafoya, Mary Ekleberry, Mary Cain all of Santa Clara Pueblo, Cecilia Arviso and husband, Paul of Gallup, Patsy Lopez of Prescott, AZ, and Tom Joe of Gallup; many cousins and many other relatives, friends, and his co-workers at the Albuquerque Journal. On Thursday, June 14, 2001 visitation will begin at 3:30 p.m. and a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at the residence of the late Teresita Naranjo in Santa Clara Pueblo. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2001, at the Santa Clara Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Santa Clara Pueblo Cemetery with family and friends assisting as Pallbearers.
