Rohane -- Rev. Milton A. Rohane, 78, of San Diego, CA died Tuesday, May 29, 2001 in London, England. Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2001 at St. John's Cathedral in Albuquerque, NM with Bishop Terrance Kelshaw, Diocese of the Rio Grande, officiating. Rev. Rohane was born in North Adams, MA, where he graduated from high school. He attended Columbia University before transferring to the University of New Mexico, where he received both his BA and MA. He graduated from seminary at the School of Theology of the University of the South in Sewanee, TN. The Rev. Rohane was ordained as an Episcopalian Priest on March 30, 1952. He served several churches in New Mexico for the Diocese of the Rio Grande including Artesia, Farmington, Albuquerque, and Los Alamos before retiring in 1984 to San Diego. His beloved wife, Nancy, preceded him in death in 1982. Survivors include one sister, Maisie Pierce of Williamstown, MA; one brother, Robert of Gibsonton, FL; four sons, Kevin P. Rohane of Randolph, NJ, Jeremy D. Rohane of Amarillo, TX, Timothy W. Rohane of San Diego, CA and Andrew J. Rohane of Colorado Springs, CO; along with seven grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and one very close niece, Connie Walter of Flora Vista, NM. The family suggests memorials be made to the church of your choice.
