Maples -- Frankie"Grand Ma"-died October 5, 2001. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Eunice Carter and her brother, Jimmy Carter and granddaughter Gina Velasquez. She is survived by five children: Jackie Maples, Melinda Burge, Allan Maples, Rhonda Maples and David Maples, all of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is also survived by two sisters; Lynn King and Mardell Carter also of Albuquerque, and eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and many, many friends. A memorial service will be held Monday, October 8, 2001 at 6:00 PM in The Chapel of Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque.
