Peña -- Luis Roberto Peña, age 37, much loved husband, father and son, passed away suddenly on May 31, 2001. He was born in El Paso, TX and had lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico for the last six years. He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth (Betsy) Winstead Peña and two sons, Nicolas, age 11 and Jonathon, age 2. He is also survived by his mother, Norma Silvia Peña, his brothers, Albert and Carlos, and his sisters, Norma, Laura, Rosa, and Sylvia. Robert is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, friends, and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Peña, Jr. Robert was a graduate of Burges High School and a Graduate of UTEP with a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 1990. He was the owner-operator of Pentex Construction Company in Albuquerque, New Mexico and was a parishioner at St. Joseph's on the Rio Grande. He was a loving dad and husband who enjoyed tennis and fishing. Mr. Peña will lie in state Monday from 4:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Central. Rosary service will be held at 7:00p.m. at Martin Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Cathedral. There will be no graveside services.
