Barth -- Ascension"Senny" Borrego Barth, 76, Beloved wife, mother , grandmother and sister was called home to be with Our Lord, Thursday May 31, 2001. Senny was born in Santa Cruz, NM, on March 26, 1925 to the late Juan C. Borrego and Lucia Montoya Borrego. She was very proud of her several generation Hispanic heritage. She was an accomplished gardener and loved collecting angels and dolls. Praying the Rosary was quite important to her. She was well known and loved by many. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter Elizabeth Marie Barth, and brother Gilbert Borrego of Santa Fe. She is survived by: Arthur, her husband of fifty years, daughter Victoria Valencia of CA, son Robert Barth of NV, grandson Andres Sedillo and family of Albuq., grandson Joel Horner of CA , sisters Trinnie Espinosa of Santa Fe, Petra Martinez and husband of NV, Amelia Lobato and husband of Albuq., Lydia Lopez and husband of Espanola, and Christine Valerio of Santa Fe, brother Juan Borrego and wife of Santa Fe. Special thanks to niece Mathilda Lucero of Estancia, also numerous other family members, friends, and medical personnel. Mom, Grandma, Senny,"We miss you already!". A Rosary will be recited this Sunday evening at 7:30pm at Queen of Heaven Church 5311 Phoenix Ave. NE. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday June 4, 2001at 10:00am. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Andres Julian Sedillo, Joshua Lopez, Joel Horner and Cody Ford. Interment to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00pm.
