Allen -- Thomas E. "Tommy" Allen, 87, a resident of Albuquerque since 1947, died Friday, April 27, 2001. He is survived by his daughter, Judy King of Belmont, CA; granddaughter, Karen King of Alturas, CA; grandson, Mark King and wife, Evro of Redwood City, CA; great-granddaughters, Shannon and Cheyenne King of Alturas, CA; great-grandson, Joseph King of Redwood City, CA; and special friend, Mary Lou Harmening of Tome, NM. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Allen. During his years in the construction industry he worked for Vinell in Colorado constructing dams and in Las Vegas as superintendent building homes. During the war he worked in Hawthorne, NV for a construction company, and in Albuquerque for Mossman-Gladden and Wylie Brothers. He retired from Gross Construction in 1981. Tommy enjoyed fishing and traveling. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, 1:00 p.m. at Gate of Heaven, 7500 Paseo Del Norte NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating.
