Dennis -- Roland Z. Dennis, 82, a resident of Albuquerque for 42 years, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Frances Dennis; son, William R. Dennis and wife, Mary; sister-in-law, Louise Kohncke, all of Albuquerque; and brother, Joe Dennis of Ft. Worth, TX. He was preceded in death by his father, Earnest Dennis; mother, Ella Dennis; and brothers, Wilson Dennis and Ray Dennis. Mr. Dennis was a veteran in the U.S. Air Force, having served his country in World War II, and Korea Conflict. He retired as Master Sergeant after 23 years of service. Mr. Dennis was a member of the Presbyterian Church. He was a Boy Scout leader while living in Green Park, Japan. Services will be held Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Rev. Joyce Lieberman officiating. Dudnow -- Chester"Chet" J. Dudnow, 69, a resident of Albuquerque since 1974, died Monday, April 24, 2000. Mr. Dudnow was born in Duryea, PA. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Charlotte Dudnow of Albuquerque; sons, Chester E. Dudnow of San Diego, CA, and Marc Dudnow and wife, Aimee of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Serena Dudnow and Damian Dudnow, both of Albuquerque; and mother, Amelia Dudnow of Johnson City, NY; sister, Lillian Hidock and husband, Robert of Binghamton, NY; brother, Charles Dudnow and wife, Betty of Johnson City, NY; and many nieces. Mr. Dudnow was preceded in death by his father, Chester Dudnow. Chester was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force, and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 833 Arizona SE, with Father Joe D. Vigil Celebrant. Interment will take place 1:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Cummings, Doug Davis, Walter Wood, Thomas Shortell, Robert Lobato, and Jim Pruitt. Eichert -- Mrs. Scotty Eichert, 83, a twelve year resident of Davis, CA died April 21, 2000. Mrs. Eichert was born April 9, 1917 in Vernon, TX. She was the daughter of Avery Foy Page and Elizabeth McDonald Page. She was one of ten children. She graduated from Abilene Texas High School in 1932. She married Fred Frank Eichert in 1944. Mrs. Eichert also attended Santa Monica Junior College. In 1988 she moved from Pleasanton, CA to Davis with her husband. Mrs. Eichert was the first female tool designer with Douglas Aircraft Company during WWII. She was a member of the Dixon Church of Christ. Her family was the center of her life. Her volunteer work was very important to her throughout her lifetime. It included: The organizer for Mother's March of Dimes, three years in a row, in Albuquerque, NM. The Crippled Children's Society in Albuquerque. The Polio Society. Special Education Center in Albuquerque, NM. Various Children's Societies in Pleasanton. She crocheted baby elephants to distribute to the children in Pleasanton. At age 60 she went back to work with Kelly Employment Services and was in high demand because of her special skills. Family and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Services Thursday, April 27, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Chapel with Reverend Dan Wilson officiating. A Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery. Her survivors include husband, Fred of Davis; son and daughter-in-law, Bill Eichert (Jeane) of El Macero; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Leslie Page (Jeanette) of Highlands, TX, Robert Page (Glynn) of Pittsburgh, PA and Lee Page (Mary) of San Antonio, TX; two grandchildren, Will Eichert of Jenner, CA and Laura Farley of McKinney, TX; three great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Shonnie and Trey Farley. She was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.

Lankford -- Carlton Alvin Lankford, 63, died on April 23, 2000 at the family home. He was born in Frankford, VA and moved to Albuquerque 20 years ago. He is survived by his wife, Henretta Lankford of Albuquerque; children, Carlton Lankford, Jr., Mary Lankford, Susan Lankford, Carlette Lankford, Jessie Lankford and Derrick Lankford; step-children, Doris Matthews and Joann Todd; and six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. today at Chapel of Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Chapel of Sandia Funeral Care with Rev. Dan Evereg of Pilgrims Church of God in Christ officiating. Burial will follow in San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Lucero -- Filemon F. Lucero, 73, a long time resident of Pena Blanca died Wednesday, April 20, 2000. He is survived by his daughter, Judy and husband, Pat Romero of Santa Fe, NM; his son, Anthony Lucero of Santa Fe, NM; a sister, Rita Goske of Pena Blanca, NM; brothers, Benigno Lucero of Bakersfield, CA and Ben Lucero and wife, Petra of Santa Fe; granchildren, Alisha, David and Daniel Romer of Santa Fe, NM; nieces, Yvette Goske de Chavez and husband David of Pena Blanca, NM, Corina Goske of Pena Blanca, Sara Lucero of Santa Fe and Maryann Rogers and Arlene Medina of Bakersfield, CA; nephews, Greg Mares of Phoenix, AZ, Bernard Lucero of Padadena, CA, Randy Lucero of Santa Fe, NM, Steve Mares of Burbank, CA and Phillip Lucero of Maryland; nine great nieces and six great nephews; seven great-great nieces and nephews; a special aunt, Pablita Hurtado of Santa Fe; friend and companion, Francisco Boyd of Pena Blanca, NM and many cousins and friends. Filemon was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Air Force. He retired from Civil Service at the Veteran's Hospital in Albuquerque, NM in 1969. A Rosary for Mr. Lucero will be recited on Wednesday evening, 7:00 p.m, April 26, 2000 at the church. Marshall -- Ralph R. Marshall, 80, resident of Albuquerque since 1949, went to be with his Lord on Easter Sunday. He is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Elaine; son, Randy and his wife, Mary; children, Conner, Stephen, Matthew, and Alison of Albuquerque; daughter, Carol Taylor and husband Larry, children, Spencer, Kathryn, and Melody; daughter, Sara Early and husband Greg, children, Seth and Callie. Ralph was born in Uniontown, AR on November 15, 1919. He served in the US Marines in World War II in the South Pacific and China. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1949. Ralph served as Executive Director of the New Mexico Medical Society for 39 years, also was secretary and on the Board of Directors New Mexico Physician Mutual Liability Company, New Mexico Foundation for Medical Care, and New Mexico Medical Review Association. He received the AMA Citation for Distinguished Service to the medical profession. He was an honorary member of the New Mexico Medical Society and Past Presidents Club. He was a Paul Harris Fellow of Albuquerque Rotary Club, recipient of the Community Service Award by the National Kidney Foundation of New Mexico in 1990, He was an avid Lobo and Dallas Cowboy fan, loved racing pigeons, gardening, traveling and most of all his family. He was a faithful member of Hoffmantown Church. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery, with John W. Young officiating. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, 2:00 p.m., at Hoffmantown Church, 8888 Harper NE, with Pastor Ken Moore officiating. Munzer -- Dr. Maurice H. Munzer, 87, a resident of Albuquerque since 1971 died, Saturday, April 22, 2000. He is survived by his son, Lee Munzer of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Diane McCarthy of John of New York; grandchildren, Michael and Karen McCarthy of New York; and very close friend, Rosemary Hulburt of Albuquerque. Dr. Munzer was a volunteer for Albuquerque Little Theatre where he did Administrative work. He also volunteered for"Life Lines" of Presbyterian Hospital and Mended Hearts. He was a master gardener who started the program"Share The Produce" which he gathered and distributed food to the needy. Services have taken place. Pennington -- Gary Arnold Ramos Pennington, 17, beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, was called home to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 23, 2000. Gary was born in Albuquerque on June 14, 1982; and was employed with Sun Valley Fruit Company. He is survived by his loving mother, Barbara Ramos; three brothers, Frank Mendoza, wife, Suline, and nephew, Daniel, John Rey Ramos and girlfriend, Jackie Flores, and Dan Ramos and wife, Connie; and nieces, Luanna, Angela and Yvonne Ramos. Also surviving are his maternal grandmother, Carmen Ramos; paternal grandmother, Mary Scott Pennington; uncle, Bruce Hughes; nina, Connie Anaya; and a host of friends. Gary will be greatly missed by his loving family. Final viewing will be Saturday, April 29, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Church on the Rock, 5300 2nd Street NW, located between Griegos and Montano. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. also at the church. Casket bearers will be Frank Mendoza, John Rey Ramos, Danny Ramos, Marcos Lujan, Julius Torrez and Joey Montoya. Pineda -- Tom G. Pineda, 76, an Albuquerque resident since 1957, died Monday, April 24, 2000. He is survived by his son, Raymond Pineda and wife, Margaret; daughter, Mary Ann Coalson and husband Timothy, all of Albuquerque; grandsons, Anthony Pineda and wife, Sara of Cedar Grove, NM, Michael Pineda, and wife, Tracy, of Los Lunas; brothers, Ladislao Pineda and wife, Devon of Trinidad, CO, Gilbert Pineda and wife, Helen of Fresno, CA; several nieces, nephews, friends including his special friends at the Village at Alameda where he resided. His wife, Carmen F. Pineda, preceded him in death in 1997. Mr. Pineda was a barber at the NCO Club for 40 years and had served as manager of several of the barbershops at Kirtland AFB. Tom developed many relationships with patrons who came to his shops, and he never met a stranger. He worked as a volunteer over the years by giving free haircuts at the VA Hospital and other hospitals and most recently he served as a volunteer leading social activities at the Village at Alameda. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd, NE with Sophie Gurule, reciting. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 28, 2000, at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas and Tennessee with Father Luis Jaramillo, celebrant.
