Weaver -- Archie Weaver, 84, born November 23, 1916 in Tiffin, OH, passed away March 6, 2001 at his home in Lemitar. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sara Louise; sisters, Evelyn Weaver and Marian Cutcher, both living in Ohio; five children and their spouses, Kathy and Dave Arterburn of Lemitar, Jean and Ray Rachkowski of Albuquerque, Ruth and Shozo Yokoyama of Syracuse, NY, Ken and Judy Weaver of Avon, OH, Allen and Denise Weaver of Strongville, OH; grandchildren, Shane and Laura Hubler, Autumn Haworth, David Arterburn, Brian, Beth, and Dan Weaver, Ken Yokoyama, Christopher, Andrew, and Matthew Weaver; great-grandchildren, Doug and Bryan Haworth, and many nephews and nieces. He was an ordained Elder and member of the First Presbyterian Church in Socorro. He spent 20 years as an electrician, IBEW Local 611 in Albuquerque plus 18 years in Ohio, Local 129. A Memorial Service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Socorro at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2001. Another Service and interment will take place March 24, 2001 in Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Archie's memory to Socorro General Hospital Hospice, PO Box 1009, Socorro, NM 87801, or Socorro Presbyterian Church, 304 McCutcheon Ave. Socorro.

Webb -- Orval Webb, a resident of Albuquerque since 1937, died Monday, March 12, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Juanita L. Webb of the family home; sons, Ed Webb and wife, Patricia of Albuquerque and Victor (Bobby) Webb and wife, Jeannie of Peralta; daughter, Jeanie Fishel and husband, Bob of Glenmoore, PA; seven grandchildren, Mike Webb, Robbie Webb, Shauna Schroeder, Erik Fishel, Leslie Fishel, Robert Webb, Patrick Webb; four great-grandchildren, Austin Webb, Trent Webb, Hannah Schroeder, Nicole Webb; sister, Joyce Pittmon and husband, Morris of Silom Springs, AR. Orval was born on February 1, 1917 in Olustee, OK to Alanzo Grey Webb and Mattie Estelle DeShazo Webb. the family lived in Reed, OK where Orval attended school at Jay Buckle Springs Schoolhouse. They later lived in Wellington, TX, Lone Rock, AR and Willo Springs, MO. He moved to Albuquerque in 1937. He worked leveling land, and later drove a truck for Works Market. On July 13, 1940 he married Juanita Wiley and they farmed in Willard, NM and Herford, TX. They returned to Albuquerque in 1946 where he worked for J.W. Jones Construction, Allison & Haney Construction and Hydro Conduet Corporation until May of 1974, when he was forced to retire because of heart problems. Orval loved to fish, and as health permitted, he spent many winters in San Carlos, Mexico fishing from his tin boat. Services will be held, Thursday, 2:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Pastor David Morgan. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Pallbearers will be Mike Webb, Robbie Webb, Robert Webb, Erik Fishel, Dan Schroeder and Jerry Wiley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Patrick Webb and Leon Wiley. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Thursday, 12:00 noon until service. Armenta -- Patricio Armenta went to be with the Lord on March 10, 2001. He was a Veteran of WWII and is survived by his wife, Ida and three children, Mary and her two sons, Leo and Michael, Oralia and husband, Lorenzo and two sons, Patrick and Thomas Torres, Johnny and wife, Dolores and their two daughters, Natasha and Michelle De Ann. He also had four grandsons, and one great-grandson; two brothers, Nick Armenta and wife, Delia and Pedro Armenta Jr. Serving as pallbearers will be Lenny Sanchez, Joe Aragon, Patrick and Thomas Torres, Serafin Garcia and Teddy Sanchez. Honorary pallbearer will be Sabro Garcia. Services will be held at Mission San Jose, Los Duranes, 2110 Los Luceros NW. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2001. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2001 with burial following at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Bonnel -- Eula Mae Atchley Bonnel, 87, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico for 23 years, left for her eternal home on Sunday, March 11, 2001. She is survived by her daughters, Janice Kent and husband, Larry of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Joyce Reese and husband, Martin of Spanish Fork, Utah; son, Jerry Riggs and wife, Toby, of Lee's Summit, Missouri; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Eula moved to Kansas City, Missouri from Oklahoma at the age of 51. She lived in Kansas City, Missouri for 50 years where she was employed by Wolferman's Grocery Stores for 15 years until their closing. Eula moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1978 from Kansas City, Missouri. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She had been involved in the American Business Women's Association and the Women's Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 7900, Kansas City, Missouri. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her smile and spirit will always be with us. Services will be held Wednesday, March 14, 2001, 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints - Manzano Ward, 12701 Indian School. Brown -- Eva G. Brown, 84, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, and resident of Albuquerque since 1933, died Sunday, March 11, 2001. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Joseph H. Brown; sons, Bill Logsdon, Roy Logsdon and Clifford Dale Logsdon, all of Albuquerque and Robert Brown of Chandler, AZ; daughters, Mae Current of California and Joyce Vanderleest of Marina, CA, Ruby Hamilton of Phoenix, AZ and Rosie Scott of Albuquerque; and 105 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday, 2:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church of Alameda, 8818 2nd NW, with Rev. Marvin Capehart officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Clark -- James Kevin Clark, 43, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, March 9, 2001. Kevin was born May 18, 1957, the son of James A. and Joan Blaes Clark in El Paso, TX. He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Linda Clark Butler and husband, Curtis of Medford, NJ and Cathleen Clark Perez and husband, Michael of Humble, TX; two nieces; and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Box Clark of Clovis. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Father Richard Olona, Celebrant. Graveside services will take place Tuesday, 4:00 p.m., at Mission Garden Memories in Clovis, NM. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.

Conklin -- Florence F. Conklin. Florence Conklin started her journey though this life on March 10, 1907. She was born Florence Fleet Fortyune in the small town of Beasley, Virginia. Her journey took her down many a highway and as many pathways and lanes. She met and befriended untold numbers of people along the way. She left a definite and lasting impression on many of them. Florence's journey was brought to a standstill here in Albuquerque, where she recently returned to be with her surviving family. Her journey ended peacefully in sleep. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, as well as five sisters and four brothers. Her daughter, Lorraine and her husband, Jim Seals, survive her; three granddaughters, Laura Ruscetti, Deborah Donahue and Susan Seals; and two grandsons, Bobby Seals and Kelly Seals, all of whom reside in or near Albuquerque, also survive her; also surviving her are seven great-granddaughters, Leta Tripp, Shannon Thompson, Danielle Seals, Kelsey Seals, Jacey Lee Ferguson, Katie Seals, Ara Lee Seals; and one-great grandson, Shawn Tripp; she also has several nieces and nephews on the East Coast. Florence lived in Albuquerque from 1973 to 1990 and then relocated back to Virginia and Maryland. She returned to Albuquerque on February 24, 2001 and fell ill two days later. She passed from this earth Wednesday evening, March 7, 2001 at 8:20 p.m. to begin her new journey. Cremation has been performed and she will be returned to Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Washington D.C. and interred with her late husband, James Conklin. We, the Seals family, would like to extend our unlimited gratitude to all of the friends and neighbors that knew her and cared for her while she lived here. We would also like to extend a special thank you to Florence's niece, Louisa Gavigan, for taking such wonderful care of her these last several months.

Ellison -- Barbara Haines Ellison, born June 27, 1933, daughter of Stephen Wheeler Haines and Mable Snyder Haines of Muskogee, OK, died on March 7, 2001 in Taos, NM. Diagnosed with lupus in 1966, Barbara was one of the longest living Lupus patients in the world. Her courage and tenacity in the face of this chronic disease were remarkable. Graduating from Central High School, she then attended the University of Oklahoma where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority and met her husband of 46 years, George Rittenhouse Ellison of Oklahoma City. Barbara was a member of the Junior League of Albuquerque, playing the witch in the Children's Theater productions,"Hansel and Gretel," and serving as Recording Secretary from 1967 - 1968. When her family moved to Colorado Springs, she volunteered at the Horticulture Society of Colorado Springs and served as a docent at the Fine Arts Center. In 1974, her family moved to Connecticut, living first in Darien and later in Stamford. She served on the boards of Trustees of the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum in Norwalk and the Bartlett Arboretum in Stamford. She was a Connecticut Master Gardener and a member of the Shippan Point Garden Club. Retiring with her husband to Taos in 1993, Barbara became a member of the Taos Garden Club and maintained 86 varieties of penstemon, which grow in her garden today. She is survived by her husband, her brother, Stephen W. Haines of Houston, TX; two daughters, Carter of Boulder, CO, and Lynne of Philadelphia, PA; and a son, David of Cleveland, OH. She requested no flowers and in honor of her lifelong love of animals, friends may make gifts to the Humane Society of Taos, Inc. PO Box 622. Memorial Services will be held in Taos on Saturday, May 5, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements by Rivera-Hanlon Funeral Home.

Griego -- Jake J. Griego, a resident of Albuquerque for 54 years, died Friday, March 9, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Connie Griego of Albuquerque; daughters, Gloria Austin and husband, Richard, Becky Johnson and husband, Jim, Yolanda Donaldson, and Bernadette Snagel and husband, Allen all of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Ralph Griego and wife, Betty, John Griego and wife, Katie, all of Albuquerque; sisters, Dorlores Baca and husband, Art of Albuquerque, and Trini"Mary" Thompson and husband, Raymond, of Andrews, SC. Jake was a member of Queen of Heaven church, 5311 Phoenix Ave., NE. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. Pallbearers will be Ralph Griego., Jr., Mark Griego, Steve Griego, Rick Baca, and Anthony Griego. Gunter -- N. P. ťPresť Gunter, 80, a resident of Albuquerque since 1941, died on Tuesday, March 6, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Luella M. Gunter of the family home; son, Robb Gunter and wife, Bunty of Tijeras, NM; daughter, Kathy Ann Gunter of Oklahoma City, OK; grandsons, Chad and Brad Gunter of Tijeras, NM; and brother, Tom Gunter and wife, Marge of Pueblo, CO. Pres was born in Pueblo, Colorado on October 25, 1920 and lived there until 1941 when he came to Albuquerque, New Mexico to attend UNM. After graduation from UNM he served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and established Air Engineering in 1960. He was a member of the Albuquerque Kiwanis Club, with 34 years of perfect attendance. Pres was also a member of Grace Church. Services will be held Wednesday, March 14, 2001, 1:00 p.m. at Grace Church, 6901 San Antonio NE, Pastor Edwin Shepperson, officiating.
