Martinez -- Petra G. Martinez, 85, went home to be with the Lord on August 7, 2002. She was born on December 15, 1916 in Seboyeta, NM to the late Roman Gonzalez and Elviria Garcia. She moved to Albuquerque in 1948 and was married to the late Pedro Martinez. Petra worked at the Presbyterian Hospital for 33 years. She is preceded in death by her children, Jaymen Martinez and Rosie Gallegos; brother, Fred Gonzales; and sisters, Margarita Archunde and Elourdes Ramirez. She is survived by her children, Vera Montoya and husband, Tony; sons, Harry (TB) Martinez and wife, Connie and Rudy Martinez and wife, Jennie; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great - great - grandchildren. Petra will be deeply missed by her loving family. Visitations will be held on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited following at 7:00 p.m. in the Eighth Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at Holy Family Catholic Church at 8:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady Of Sorrows Cemetery in Seboyeta, NM. Pallbearers will be Angelo Montoya, Rudy Martinez Jr., Jamie Gallegos,"JJ" Gallegos, Nash Garcia and Robert Garcia. Honorary Pallbearer will be Joel Martinez. Martin -- Gail R. Martin, 78, a resident of Albuquerque since 1980 passed away on Monday, August 5, 2002. Gail was born August 13, 1924 the daughter of William Cyrus and Geraldine Braddock Rice in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She had been a Social Worker for the City of Grand Rapids before retiring. Gail served in the US Army during WW II. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren S. Martin in 1992; and one brother, William Rice. Gail is survived by her children, Hope Molyneux and husband, Tom, Dana Gerety and husband Richard, and Rick Ross; three grandchildren, Erin Gerety, Danika and Taylor Molyneux; and one brother, John Rice. The Visitation for Gail will be today, Thursday, August 8, 2002 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the Service at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho with (The Rev.) Walter F. Smith III officiating. Interment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho, 892-9920.

Oringdulph -- Ruth Marie Oringdulph, born September 14, 1908 in Benson, NE, passed away July 12, 2002 at the Mission Manor Health Care Center in Albuquerque, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lida Major and Morton Pryer Oringdulph; brothers, Fred, George and Frank Oringdulph. She is survived by her sister, Ruby Benson of San Benito, TX; nine nieces and nephews. Ruth served in the Navy during WWII. She was very active with the St. John's Episcopal Cathedral Church. She especially enjoyed playing bridge, traveling and being with her family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at the St. John's Episcopal Cathedral Church, 318 Silver Ave. SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102 on Monday, August 12, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation has occurred and private interment will be at St. John's Church. Cremation arrangements by the Sunrise Society of NM, 891-8200.

Padilla -- Trinidad E. Padilla, age 89, a resident of Albuquerque since 1969 passed away Tuesday evening, August 6, 2002. Mrs. Padilla was born on November 1, 1912 in Cimmeron, New Mexico. She is survived by her loving children, Loretta and Walter Crespin of Albuquerque and her beloved grandchildren, Kyle Crespin and Kimberlee Crespin and fiancée, Jeff Richards. She is survived by her best friend and sister, Rufina Espinosa, sister, Mae Fernandez and husband, Louis, and brother, William Espinosa and wife, Sadie; numerous nephews and nieces, and many friends and neighbors. She is also survived by members of the Crespin Family who have embraced her as one of their own. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfonso Padilla; her parents; sisters, Mary Padilla and Cleotilde Cordova and brothers, Ray Espinosa, Adolph Espinosa, and Franklin Espinosa. She was a longtime member of San Felipe Church and the DAV Auxiliary. Trini loved life and especially the time spent with her family. She will remain in the hearts of all those who knew her as a special lady. Rosary will be recited on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW (3 blocks N. of Paseo Del Norte) with Deacon Bob Lewis, reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at San Felipe De Neri Catholic Church, 2005 North Plaza NW with Rev. Jerome Plotkowski, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kyle Crespin, Jeff Richards, Roy Dominguez, Steve Lindeman, Freddie Espinosa and Joel Cordova. Ramczyk -- Dorothy Ann Ramczyk died peacefully at her home on August 6, 2002 surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of George L. Ramczyk for 56 years and who cared for her in her final illness, with the help of Tammy Teehee and Rosalee Gutierrez. She was the beloved daughter of Louis and Anna Kohner who preceded her in death; beloved sister of Marcella Bougeant; beloved mother of Mary Higgins, Stephen Ramczyk, Margaret Stoliker, Michael Ramczyk, Joan Lane, Daniel Ramczyk, Barbara Ramczyk and Rebecca Markey; beloved mother-in-law, of Bernie Higgins, Patricia Ramczyk, David Stoliker, Kenneth Lane, Kevin Markey and Carol Martin; beloved grandmother of Rachel and Hillary Higgins, Leslie Lamb, Timothy Ramczyk, Kirsten McVeigh, Sarah and Elizabeth Stoliker, Ryan and Hannah Markey; beloved great-grandmother of Taylor Lamb. Dorothy was born in 1925 in Winona, MN. She married George her childhood sweetheart and they moved to New Mexico in 1948 where George worked for the Albuquerque Publishing Co. Dottie and George raised eight children. Dottie was an accomplished pianist and gourmet cook. She will be fondly remembered for her generosity, charitable spirit and her sense of humor. Grandma Dottie's advice to her family on how to navigate through life was,"You have to have a sense of humor." A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109 on Friday, August 9, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. Private Inurement at a later date will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Robles -- Juanita D. Robles, 90, a long-time Albuquerque resident, died Tuesday, August 06, 2002. She is survived by a son, Lt.Col. Rolando P. Robles of Avondale, AZ; grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth and Robert Robles, all of Redlands, CA. Her husband, Rolando Robles, preceded Mrs. Robles in death. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Parish. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m., Friday, August 9, 2002, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1818 Coal Place SE, with Father Joseph Thai Minh Tran, Celebrant. Smith -- Patricia Waterman Smith was born on January 23, 1923 to Oliver Harrison Smith, publisher of the Saturday Review of Literature and Claire Spencer, artist and writer. She grew up in New York City, Maine, California, and New Mexico, dividing her time between her mother and father who divorced. Patricia attended the Art Students League in New York City and became a skilled and talented sculptor. During WWII, she worked for the Army Medical Museum in Washington D.C. In 1954, she returned to New Mexico with her children, Carson, Rebecca, Poppy, and George Ballantine. In 1955, she married Peter Smith and they had one child, Claudia. They settled in Corrales, building an adobe home. Patricia was very active in the art community and was a founding member of the Corrales Art Association, the Camel Gallery, the Visual Arts Council of the Corrales Historical Society, and the Bosque Gallery. She also volunteered with the All Faiths Home and served on the Corrales Parks and Recreation Board. She was a devoted and generous mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She leaves behind in addition to her children; grandchildren, Shama, Antonio, Jessie, Gabriel, Morgan, Chloe, Alayne, and Marie; and great-granddaughter, Morgana; a stepdaughter, Sara and Sara's children, Aaron and Madeline. She is also mourned by her husband, Pete and her devoted rat terrier, Dodger. Patricia's friends are invited to a gathering to celebrate her life at her home on Sunday, August 11, 2002 at 2:30 p.m. Donations may be made in her honor to the All Faiths Receiving Home in Albuquerque.

Trujillo -- Ernest Frank Trujillo, 48, passed away August 5, 2002 in Albuquerque. Ernest is survived by many loving family members and friends, that loved and will miss him. Vishaway -- Frederick Vishaway, 74, a resident of Albuquerque since 1947, died Wednesday, August 7, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Thelma Vishaway of Tijeras, NM; daughters, Kathleen Heckler of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Deborah Kinsella and husband, Patrick of Albuquerque, Pamela Serban and husband, William of Colorado Springs, CO, and Jacqueline Young of Modesto, CA; son, Michael A. Vishaway of Albuquerque; daughter, Patricia Maes of Lubbock, TX; son, Paul A. Vishaway and wife, Bernadette of Albuquerque; sister, Emylou Evans and husband, Jim of California; 25 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Waldrop -- Donald Edward Waldrop, 58, of Albuquerque, NM, died Wednesday, August 7, 2002 of pancreatic cancer. He is mourned by his siblings, Julia Alexander and Walter Waldrop; stepson, Derek Phillips; and grandson, Derek Wayne Phillips. They are joined in their grief by a multitude of extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Diane Waldrop in 1993. Mr. Waldrop was born on July 11, 1944, in Breckenridge, TX, where he spent his childhood. After service in the U.S. Navy, he lived most of his life in the Dallas area, with his career taking him at various times to Oklahoma, California, Washington, Michigan, and most recently New Mexico. He was a devout Christian, affiliated with Asbury United Church in Albuquerque. Mr. Waldrop is fondly remembered for his service to Central United Methodist Church of Waco, First United Methodist Church of Rockwall, and for his activities in the Dallas and Central Texas Emmaus Communities. He will be remembered for his generosity, integrity, and devotion. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, August 10, 2002, 10:00 a.m., at Central United Methodist Church Waco, with Rev. Ben Disney officiating. Graveside services will take place at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Keith Payne Boone officiating.
