Flanagan -- Jack Flanagan passed away in his sleep July 14, 1999 in Albuquerque, NM. John James Flanagan was born to Dennis and Annie Lowther Flanagan on June 19, 1912 in New Rochelle, NY. Having survived being struck by lightning at a young age, he served his country as a Technical Sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Core in WWII. While serving in Colorado Springs, he married Theda Stine of Glasco, KS on February 21, 1945. After receiving an honorable discharge, Jack and Theda resided in Colorado Springs until her death in 1992. Two children blessed their marriage, Susan Lou and John James II. After the death of his wife in 1992, Jack relocated to the South Valley of Albuquerque. Jack's smile and kind words are a testament to Jesus in his heart. He will be missed and remembered by the community and by his friends at Swel's Restaurant. Jack is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Larry Elliott of Albuquerque; his son and daughter-in-law, John and Susan Flanagan of Scottsdale, AZ; his two grandchildren, John James Flanagan III and Erin Kathleen Flanagan. An Irish"wake" will be held to celebrate his life at Swel's Restaurant, Isleta Blvd., Sunday, July 18, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. Contributions can be accepted in lieu of flowers at Roadrunner Food Bank, PO Box 66498, Albuquerque, NM 87193.

Myers -- Nancy C. Myers, 64, a resident of Albuquerque since 1974, died Friday, July 16, 1999. She is survived by her husband, Larry Myers; children, Larry R. Walters of Albuquerque and Carolyn A. Janeway and husband, Brian of Albuquerque; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Thelma Townsend of Ft. Wayne, IN and Helda Geradot of New Haven, IN; brothers, Harry Anderson of Anthwerp, Ohio, Morice Anderson of New Haven, IN and Richard Anderson of Ft. Wayne, IN. She was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church. Services will be held at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Reverend Charles E. Price, officiating. Vance -- Arthur"Leon" Vance, 69, a resident of Albuquerque for 37 years, died Thursday, July 15, 1999. He is survived by his wife, DeeOra Vance of the family home; daughters, Lonnie Harris and husband, Stephen, Karen D. Vance, and Patti Plake and husband, Larry, all of Albuquerque; sons, Marlin Kincaid, Thomas Leon Vance, and William John Vance and wife, Cecilia, all of Albuquerque; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Nannie Howey of LaJara, CO, and Norma Walstrom and husband, Clarence of Alamosa, CO. Mr. Vance moved from Colorado to Albuquerque in 1962. He was employed by ABF/Navajo Trucking Co. until this retirement in 1986. Services will be Monday, 1:00 p.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints-Manzano Ward, 12701 Indian School Rd. NE, with Bishop Wheelwright conducting. Waddles -- Jesse Owen Waddles, Jr., age 49, and a native resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 1999. Mr. Waddles was born June 30, 1950. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Waddles; four children, Kevin and Sheldon Waddles, both of Albuquerque, Tina and Keva Waddles, both of Memphis, TN; his mother, Mrs. Novella Waddles of Denver, CO; his father, Mr. Jessie Waddles, Sr. and wife, Sarah of Albuquerque; three sisters, Gloria Hunn-Perry and husband, Larry, Diana Waddles and Cheryl Waddles, all of Denver, CO; two brothers, James Waddles and wife, LaJana of Colorado Springs, CO and Donald Ray Waddles of Denver, CO; his grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Oliver of Albuquerque; his mother-in-law, Mrs. Tina B. French; eight grandchildren; and many relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements are pending with Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE 87109.

Anaya -- Adam A. Anaya, 18, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on July 10, 1999. Adam is the beloved son of David and Martha Anaya. He is also survived by two sisters, Nancy Lucero and boyfriend, Isaac J. Soza and Lorraine Gallegos and boyfriend, Anthony Valadez; one brother, Dominic F. Anaya; grandparents, Teofilo M. Castillo, Rebecca Lucero and husband, Joe and Isable Anaya; great-grandparents, Adelaida Castillo and Elias Cruz; one niece, mi hija Jazmin Alikah Rebeca Soza; aunts and uncles, Jimmy and Lori Anaya, Lloyd and Kathy Anaya, Rose and Jose Vargas, Larry Anaya, Janet Yarbrough, Elaine Ortiz and Rene Ortiz, Diana Castillo, Karen and George Mitchell and Mark and Karen Castillo; many great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Adam was a member of the catholic church. A rosary will be recited Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at San Martin de Porris Catholic Church, 8301 Camino San Martin SW with visitation after 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. at San Martin Church with final viewing at the church after 9:30 a.m. Pallbearers will be, Derrick Anaya, Jason Mitchell, Patricio Mitchell, Isaac Ortiz, Orlando Ortiz and Isaac Soza. Goodfellow -- Gordon Marvin Goodfellow, 62, a resident of Albuquerque since 1969, passed away Friday, July 9, 1999. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Arthene Goodfellow; daughters, Debora Schulte and husband, Hugo of Florida, Sharon McKelvey and husband, Kyle of California, and Krystal Armijo and husband, Lawrence and their child, Lauren of Albuquerque; son, Curtis Goodfellow and wife, Sabrina and their children, Justin and Logan of Albuquerque; sister, Shirly Mott and husband, Arthur and family; and brother, Allen Goodfellow. Gordon was born in Albany, New York. He attended the University of Miami and received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona. Gordon received a Master's Degree from Webster's College. In 1961, he enlisted in the Air Force and retired as a captain in 1981. He continued an extended career as a Scientist at the Defense of Nuclear Agency. Gordon was a caring and devoted father and husband, and he will be greatly missed. Services will be held Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas NE, with Pastor Bruce Wilder, Jr. officiating. Pallbearers will be Curtis Goodfellow, Ross Schulte, Larry Armijo, and Kyle McKelvey. Interment will take place at 1:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Mondragon -- Mrs. Margaret S. Mondragon, (Grandma) was born in San Miguel, NM on February 23, 1912. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Newman, former husband, Pete A. Mondragon and four grandchildren, Ruth and Kenneth Mascarenas, Michael Lucero and Marie Atencio. Margaret worked in the Post Office in Van Houten, NM in the late forties and early fifties. She also ran a grocery store in Isleta Pueblo during the seventies. She is survived by three daughters, Nancy Mascarenas, of Raton, Mary Lucero of Bernalillo, and Rose Newman; stepdaughter, Fannie Lucero; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren, also by the extended Jaramillo family, a very good friend, Gale Peveler whom she considered the son that she never had, and also, last but not least, by her Grand-dogs, Biscuit, Gravy, Jude, Golden and Freddie. The family would like to extend our thanks to the staff at the Paloma Blanca Nursing Home, especially"her" Catalina. Funeral services for Mrs. Mondragon will be held on Monday at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A reception will follow the burial at the Nativity Church Parish Hall. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Heidi, George, Benny and Joe Lucero, Larry Allman and her great-grandson, Joe Atencio. A Rosary will be recited by her niece Carmen Tomassi at the Nativity Church on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. Visitations will be held on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 3rd St. SW.

Teeter -- Loren E. Teeter, 61, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, July 5, 1999. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Liza Teeter; daughters, Erna Smith and husband, Paul, Charlene Fairchild and husband, Larry and Anita Ronquillo and husband, Alfred, all of Albuquerque; four granddaughters, Lauren Teeter, Alyssa Metoyer, Erin Metoyer and Samantha Ronquillo; sisters, Carol Mitchell of Albuquerque, Betty Oswald and husband, Larry of Cedar Hill, TX and Erna Carlile and husband, James of Duncanville, TX; brother, Lloyd Teeter and wife, Rachel of Sparks, NV; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Teeter was retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service, having served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1517 and held his Fellowship Degree. Services will be held Friday, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Rev. Lloyd Teeter officiating.
