Lott -- Mary Lou Lott, age 71, passed away October 2, 2001 at the Guadalupe County Hospital in Santa Rosa after an illness. Mary Lou was born February 25, 1930 in Childress, TX to the home of R.D. and Florene Taylor. Her parents moved to Mullins Ranch in Borica, NM in 1933 and then to Santa Rosa in 1935 where Mary Lou attended schools until she married Arthur Lott on December 12, 1947. Mary Lou worked for the Santa Rosa News for 14 years, ENMRSH for two years and Teeter Insurance for 15 years and recently for the Guadalupe County Communicator as a contributing editor. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, a Past Matron of the Sunshine Chapter #44, Order of the Eastern Star, a charter member of the Order of Rainbow for Girls, Assembly #31, Secretary of the local Methodist Church for 22 years and a bookkeeper for many years. She was also a member of the Evergreen Cemetery Board and the Nursing Home Board. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Joseph; and a niece, Karen. Survivors include her sons, John Lott and wife, Julie of Rio Rancho, Robert Lott and wife, Taunya of Corpus Christi, TX; the father of her children, Arthur Lott of Santa Rosa; her brothers, Bill Taylor of Ruidoso Downs, NM and Jim Taylor of Meeker, CO; and a sister, Janaa Taylor; her uncle, Tex Taylor of Santa Rosa; two aunts, Lita and Jessie Mae; and a cousin, Larry Taylor. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jason, Steven, Jessie, Robby, Josh, Rebekah, Rachel and Connor; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of relatives and friends. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 4, at 11:00 a.m. from the First United Methodist Church in Santa Rosa with Rev. Luis Orozco officiating. Burial of the Cremains will be held at the Evergeen Cemetery in Santa Rosa. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are Floyd Rasco, Don Sultemeier, Bo Cribbs, E.W. Dudrey, Charley Bedford and Ace Thompson. All Services are entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa.

Hilary -- Anna B. Hilary, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1992, died Thursday, September 27, 2001. She is survived by her children, Carol Letendre and husband, Myron Wheeler of Columbia, MD, Richard B. Hilary of Tallahassee, FL and Sue Castillo and husband, Larry of Albuquerque; grandsons, Robert Letendre, Jr., of Rockville, MD, Kenneth Letendre of Columbia, MD and Christopher Castillo of Washington, PA.; and brother, Frank Boyd of Owego, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Richard Hilary; and sister, Marguerite Feller. Mrs. Hilary was a member of the Deerhurst Presbyterian Church in Kenmore, NY. She attended Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church while in Albuquerque. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2001, at 10:00 a.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with Pastor Don Wilson officiating. Stiegler -- Diana M. Stiegler, a resident of Albuquerque since moving from Reno, NV in 1976, died on September 26, 2001. She was born in Monmouth, IL to Eugene and Alice Moore Beil, graduated from the University of Nevada in 1976 with a PHD in Social Psychology and married Joseph Stiegler in 1980 in Albuquerque. She was a member of the First Church of Religious Science and CASA. Diana was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Beil in 1997 and is survived by her husband, Joseph Stiegler of Albuquerque; her mother, Alice Beil of Albuquerque; children, Michael Doolittle and fiancee Veronica Donato, both of Albuquerque and Karen Odom and husband Richard of Colorado Springs, CO; brother, Richard Beil and wife Jimette of Peoria, IL; aunt, Nancy Moore of Albuquerque; a grandchild, Ryan Odom and niece, Jennifer Wiese and husband Tim of Washington, Il. Lydick -- Peggy I. Lydick, age 72, of Lyons, NE, formerly of Albuquerque. Beloved wife of Glen Lydick of Lyons, NE. Newman -- Iris Mae Newman, 78, born to Helen Martin and James Coleman in Huntington, West Virginia, formerly from Brooklyn, New York and a resident of Rio Rancho for 19 years, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2001. Iris Mae is survived by her husband, George Newman, and children, Frances Weir and husband, Don, Charlotte Klau and husband, Larry, Michael Newman and wife, Mary, Paul Newman and wife, Marie, Roseanne Hopkins, Steven Newman and wife, Linda. She is also survived by her brother, Archie Coleman and wife, Margie; brothers-in-law, Norman Mayer, Lester Newman and wife, Lillian; sisters-in-law, Annabelle Cohen and Edith Newman; cousin, Mary Frances Reckeweg and husband, Ben; uncle, Harold Martin; grandchildren, Donna Sulek and husband, Bob, John Weir, April Paulton and husband, Tracy, Michael David Newman, Steven Kofsky, Jon Frankel, Dani Hinckley and husband, Brandon; six great-grandchildren, Ryan and Megan Sulek, Kaleb, Kelsey and Joshua Paulton, Colleen Kofsky; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mrs. Newman was a past officer and leader of TOPS and KOPS and received many honors from her association with this organization. Sedillo -- Mrs. Placida Sedillo, 76, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on September 21, 2001. Mrs. Sedillo is survived by seven children, Isaac Sedillo and wife Dubie, Tony Sedillo and wife Maria, Marcie Baca and husband Benjamin, Sofie Gomez and husband Juan, Rosemary Atencio and husband Eugene, Jimmy Sedillo, Danny Sedillo; two brothers, Edwin Sanchez and Plio Sanchez; 27 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Sedillo was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Sedillo Sr., her sons, Cirilio and Larry Sedillo; her grandsons, Vincent and Little Jimmy Sedillo; her sister, Feliz Kuhn. Mrs. Sedillo was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Monday evening in the Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW from 6:30 until 7:00 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 by Gabriella Nieto. Final visitation will be Tuesday morning in the Holy Family Church from 9:30 until 10:00 with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 by Father Manuel Viera. Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eric Gomez, Richard Sedillo, Joseph Sedillo, Gina Baca, Manuel VIllagran and Johnny Sedillo. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jose Antonio Sedillo Jr. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his daughters, Deborah Byington and husband, Harold of Albuquerque and Barbara Lovett and husband, Gene of San Bernardino, CA; son, Michael Stewart and wife, Kathleen of Yucipa, CA; 5grandchildren, Jennifer Ham, Jeremy Floyd Byington, Shawn Michael Lovett, Colin Michael Stewart, and Larry Taylor Stewart; and 3 great-grandchildren.
