BROWN -- Martha C. Rehm Brown, 94, a resident of Albuquerque for 56 years, died Friday, June 9, 2006, in Williams, AZ. She is survived by son, George Rehm and wife, Donna of Williams, AZ; daughter, Barbara Prokosch of Albuquerque; sister, Alverta Bradbury of Albuquerque; four grandchildren, Matthew and Mark Prokosch, Christopher Rehm, and Tracey Sirochman. Martha was a member of First Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon. She was also a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, Chapter AA, for over 50 years. In addition, she worked at the First Prebyterian Church Helpline and Meals on Wheels for many years. Viewing will take place Monday, June 12, 2006 at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust St NE, on Tuesday, June 13, 2006, at 2:00 p.m., with Reverend Myron White officiating. ERICKSON -- Lillian V. Erickson, a resident of Albuquerque since 1951, died June 9, 2006. Mrs. Erickson grew up in Minnesota and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1951. She is survived by her husband Clayton, daughter Sandra of Madison, Wisconsin, and son Bruce of Colorado Springs, sister Helen Elliot of Utica, Minnesota, brother Harry Jondal of Austin, Minnesota, brother Frank Jondal of Oakdale, Minnesota, sister Yvonne Ebert of San Diego, California, and many nieces and nephews. She was a long time member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, where she was a volunteer in many women's organizations. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 15th at St. Luke Lutheran Church. FEILD -- Ellen Rebecca Feild, 95, a resident of Albuquerque since 1968, died Friday, May 26, 2006. She was born July 21, 1910, in Litchfield, IL, the daughter of Leo Christian Ferdinand Schalk and Nellie Rebecca Hood. On August 20, 1932 she married CD Feild in St. Louis, MO. She is survived by many friends, cousins, and extended family. Mrs. Feild was preceded in death by her husband, CD Feild on October 28, 1993, after 61 years of marriage. While her husband was serving in the Army, Mrs. Feild and her husband lived and worked at many military assignments including Ft. Knox, KY, Camp Polk, LA, and Ft. Sill, OK. They moved from California in 1968 making Albuquerque their home thereafter. Mrs. Feild was a volunteer for many years at the Sandia Base thrift shop. She loved to knit and she created many beautiful and unique items for her friends and neighbors. Mrs. Field's cremated remains will be buried with her beloved husband, Friday, June 16, 2006, 1:30 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. LABRIER -- JACK Funeral Services for Jack LaBrier, 77, of Ruidoso, NM were Thursday, June 8, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. in the Berardinelli Family Funeral Service Chapel in Santa Fe with burial following at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Mr. La Brier passed away Friday, June 2, 2006 in Ruidoso. He was born December 13, 1928 in Clayton, NM. He served in the Navy during World War II and worked for Sandia National Laboratory from 1951 until 1985 when he retired. He moved to Ruidoso in August, 2003 from Farmington, NM. He is survived by two sons, Robbie LaBrier and his wife, Karen of Houston, TX and Ronnie LaBrier of Albuquerque; two grandchildren, Landon and Lindsey LaBrier of Houston; a brother, John L. LaBrier and his wife, Nita of Albuquerque; his companion, Sue Noble of Ruidoso; and a sister-in-law, Chon LaBrier of Tierra Amarilla, NM. Arrangements were with LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso.

LORENTZEN -- E. J. Lorentzen passed away on June 11, 2006 in Albuquerque. He was born on February 4, 1908 in St. Paul, MN to Norwegian immigrants. He entered the Navy in 1937 as a dental officer and rose to the rank of Commander. After WWII he practiced dentistry in San Diego. In New Mexico he was active in real estate development. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; daughter, Deana (wife of Ken Guest); son, John (wife, Lois); and three granddaughters, Tia, Bree, and Shay. Private burial will be at the Smith Homestead near Carlsbad, NM.

MCGIRK -- Frances M. McGirk, 86, a resident of Albuquerque since 1949 passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2006. Frances was born April 6, 1920 in Cuba City, Wisconsin. She was the second of five children born to Vincent and Rose (Moore) Baker and grew up in Dubuque, Iowa where she met her husband of almost 58 years Merlin (Red) McGirk who preceded her in death on February 3, 1999. Mrs. McGirk was the last surviving sibling of her family (which included her brothers and sister Rosemary Bennett, Vincent Jr., John, and William). She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, C.E. "Joe" Young and great grandson, Kyle McGirk. Fran is survived by two children, James McGirk and Barbara Young of Albuquerque; eight grandchildren, Michael and his wife Kelly McGirk of Santee, CA; David and his wife Sophie McGirk of Albuquerque, NM; Danny, Tom of Albuquerque, NM, Jodi and her husband Stan Grieco of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Maggie Young of Albuquerque, Tim Young of Aurora, CO and Bob Young of Las Vegas, NV and five great grandchildren. Frances was a devoted wife and mother and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We will all miss her very much. Our thoughts are always with you. Your place no one can fill. In life we loved you dearly; in death we love you still. A private, family service was held at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel on June 7, 2006.

PALLADINO -- Jenny Palladino,67, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1985, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2006. Jenny was born November 9, 1938 the daughter of Giovanni and Anunziata Ariola in Naples, Italy. She was active in the American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life" in Rio Rancho. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church; the Sons and Daughters of Italy; the Italian American Association; and the Catholic Daughters of America. Jenny is survived by her husband of 47 years, Vincent; three children, Antoinette Caputo and husband Vincent of Rio Rancho; Augustino Palladino and wife Jennifer of Smithtown, NY; and Nancy Lucero and husband Leon of Rio Rancho; eight grandchildren, Vincent John, Michael, Andrew, Vincent, Anthony, Jennifer, Luke and Emma; and one great grandchild, "on the way"; brothers and sisters, Vincent Ariola and wife Nancy of Rochester, NY; Bart Ariola and wife Anne Marie of Rio Rancho; Nicolina Alfieri and husband Nicola of Queens, NY; and Isabella LaRezza and Dominica of Franklin Square, NY; Godmother to: Anna DeMarco, Vincent Palladino, Anthony Ariola, Maria Alfieri and Vincent Ariola; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, June 15, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho. Entombment will follow in the Patriots Mausoleum in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jenny's six grandsons. SKINDELIEN -- Vernon T. Skindelien, age 77, formerly of Sunburg, MN passed away peacefully at his home in Albuquerque, NM on Saturday, June 10, 2006. Vernon was born in Sunburg, MN January 19, 1929 to Oscar and Emelia Skindelien. He was baptized and confirmed at East Norway Lake Lutheran Church. He graduated from Kerkhoven High School in 1946. He enlisted in the military in 1951 and served in Korea and Vietnam as well as being stationed in Colorado, Nebraska, Texas, Germany, North Carolina, and California. He married Arline Hollen September 3, 1960 at Lowry AFB Denver, CO. He retired from the Air Force in 1975 and built a home in Kerkhoven, MN. He and his family then went to Iran for 3 years before returning to live in the Kerkhoven area for 11 years. During those 11 years Vernon was engaged in small farming, coin collecting, antiques and antique clocks, hunting and fishing. He and his wife moved to Albuquerque in 1986 but Vernon returned several times a year to fish and hunt with long time friends and relatives. Vernon was active in Albuquerque with his coins, antiques, gun and coin shows and enjoying his retirement. Vernon was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Emelia Skindelien; a brother, Elroy; and a sister, Mercedes. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Arline; daughter, Nancy (Netland) Pelosa and husband, Joe; and son, Ronald Skindelien, all of Albuquerque; three grandchildren, Joseph Pelosa IV and wife, Stephanie of Las Vegas, NV, Jason Pelosa and Parker Skindelien of Albuquerque; and one great-grandchild, Naleah Krug, also of Albuquerque; three brothers, Oscar Skindelien Jr. and wife, Iola, and Wendell Skindelien and wife, Marsha, all of Sunburg, and Virgil Skindelien and wife, Beverly of Belgrade, MN; as well as several nieces and nephews and friends and relatives in Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, and the Albuquerque area. Viewing for family and friends will be at French Mortuary-Westside Chapel in Albuquerque on Tuesday evening 5 -7 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at French Mortuary-Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. BACA -- Rebecca Mrs. Rebecca (Becky) Baca, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on June 10, 2006, peacefully at home in the arms of her husband, the love of her life, and is now in Heaven with the Lord. Mrs. Baca is the beloved wife to Mr. Lee Baca, married for 44 years. She is also survived by her sons, Clifford and wife, Carol; K.C. and wife, Donna; one daughter, Stacy and husband, Andy Marquez; eleven grandchildren, Jessica and husband, Mark; Rachel, Celina, Natalie, Kennedy, Kassandra, Nikki, Vanessa, Dominic, Matthew and Dean; three great grandchildren, Isabella, Zackary and Frankie; her mother in law, Lydia Baca; three sisters, Lillie Chavez, Sarah Gallegos and Libby Mirabal; two brothers, Elijio Sanchez and wife, Geneva, Eddie Sanchez and wife, Eva and many other extended family members. Mrs. Baca was preceded in death by her son, Dean; her parents, Joe and Mary Sanchez; father in law, Liberato Baca; brothers, Ambrose and Herman Sanchez and a sister, Priscilla Sanchez. Mrs. Baca was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation for Mrs. Baca will be Wednesday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with a Memorial Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Mrs. Martha Herrera. Final visitation will be Thursday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment of Mrs. Baca's cremains will follow at Mt.
