HAHN, MARGARET Age 86, a resident of Albuquerque since 1958 died peacefully on Friday, January 23, 2015. She is survived by her children, Dave Hahn and wife, Lynda, and Ardell Roberts and companion, Bob Berg, all of Albuquerque; five grandchildren, Christopher Roberts and girlfriend, Amanda, Heather Roberts and husband, Greg Gallegos, Hi (H.J.) Roberts V, Steven Hahn and wife, Sarah, and Michael Hahn; three great-grandchildren, Kayleigh and Greyson Gallegos and Jacob; brother, Tom Pitcher and wife, Sam of Ft. Collins, CO; and other relatives and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Donald Hahn in April 1995. She was born in 1928 in Ft. Collins, CO. Margaret was instrumental in the operation of the family business, Don's Auto Parts, with her husband, Don. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Services will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH University Chapel followed by interment at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. MYERS, JAMES "JIM" F., LT. COL. (RET) Age 86, of Albuquerque, passed away on January 22, 2015. Jim was born July 2, 1928 in Waycross, GA to Clay Thomas and Martha Etta (Blitch) Myers. He was raised in Waycross where he excelled in tennis in high school and attended Clemson University. He joined the US Army in 1945 and served a full career in Panama, Kansas, Maryland, Texas, Korea, Japan, Italy, North Carolina and retired in Albuquerque, NM in 1971. Jim graduated from the University of Albuquerque with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. He enjoyed playing golf, traveling and being with his family and especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He married Frances Adam in 1948 in the Panama Canal Zone. Jim is survived by his wife, Frances Myers of Albuquerque; children, Barbara Patt (Fiance, Jimmy Mock) of Edmond, OK, Carol Billingham of Albuquerque, Linda (Bob) Williams of Albuquerque, and James "Jim" F. (Karen) Myers, Jr. of Edmond, OK; eight grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles and Donald (Helen) Myers; brother-in-law, Don (Donna) Adam; and many other loving family members. James was preceded in death by his siblings, William, Marvin, Earl, Clay, Jr. and Herbert, Elizabeth and Myrtice Myers. FORRESTER, JAMES HAROLD James Harold Forrester, age 86, was a man of true principle. He dedicated his life to hard work and integrity. Harold was born November 9, 1928 in Woodstock, AL and passed away January 25, 2015 in Albuquerque, NM. His parents were Annie Lucille Mitchell-Forrester and Farris James Forrester; his brothers were Calvin and Donald and his sister was Evelyn Forrester Morrow. Harold's family moved to Albuquerque in the 1940s due to his father's tuberculosis. Harold graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1946. He and Gwendolyn Gish-Forrester married in 1948. Harold always said marrying Gwen was "the best decision of his life." He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn; his son, Jim Forrester and wife Beth Forrester; his daughter, Janet Copenhaver and husband Steven Copenhaver; grandchildren, Julie Copenhaver, Aaron Forrester and wife Sheryl Forrester, Scott Forrester and fiancee Julia Jarrard, Michelle Guilford and husband Spencer Guilford and Leslie Foltz; his great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Ava and Olivia Forrester and Shalyn and Kyan Caudill. Harold began his career as a service tech in the automotive-electronic industry and also worked as a fuel-truck driver. He diligently worked, while married, to obtain his bachelor's and master's degrees. He became an elementary school teacher for APS. His dream in life was to become an FBI agent. He served as an agent in the mid 1960s serving in: Minneapolis, Sioux Falls and Cincinnati. After his service, he returned to Albuquerque to serve as an elementary school principal at APS for 30 years. Many of his students, as adults in later years, would identify him in restaurants and tell him stories of how he changed their lives for the best. Harold enjoyed helping others on their journey. He was a devoted husband of 66 years. He loved his wife, children, country and God. Gospel music was a passion in his life. He enjoyed attending Sagebrush Church every Saturday and loved family gatherings, where he was able to see his kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. You could always find Harold around a blazing large fireplace, humming a tune or a beloved hymn. His shoes will never be filled. However, we will always strive to walk in his footsteps. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH Westside. A Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A Reception will follow the service. LAKS, PETER JAMES Age 53, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015. He was born in Buffalo, NY on September 25, 1961, to Donald and Barbara (Stec) Laks. PEARSON, DONALD WILLIS Donald Willis Pearson, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away surrounded by loved ones after losing his battle to cancer on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 12:55 a.m. He is survived by wife, Betty Ruth Jensen; four children, Beth Tuckfield (Cary), Cody Pearson (Julie Ash), Cory Pearson and Lori Smith (Kevin); 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and four siblings. TENNENT, PAMELA M. Pamela Michele (Taylor) Tennent, 60, a resident of Santa Teresa, N.M., passed away in El Paso, Texas, on Dec. 23, 2014.She had a yearlong battle with multiple health issues, including heart problems. Mrs. Tennent was born on Jan. 25, 1954, in Baltimore, Md. to William David Taylor and Margaret Eleanor (Clover) Taylor. Since her father was in the Air Force, Pam lived in many locations prior to settling in Hillsboro, N.M. when she was in the second grade. She attended the one-room schoolhouse there through sixth grade and then moved to Truth or Consequences for several years and then attended high school at Silver High School in Silver City. Pam was married to James Tennent for the past 35 years, and had three sons, Jeremey Denham, James Tennent and Drew Tennent, who she leaves behind. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Chad, Josh, Aidyn and Lily; brother, Robin Ventura; sister, Maureen (Ted) Graham; brothers-in-law, Don (Nancy) Tennent, Bill Tennent, and Ed (Letty) Tennent; nieces, Cindy Ramirez, Heather Lee, Kristen Ayala, Jenn Tennent, Hannah Tennent, Laura Reid, Allyson Tennent, and Miriam Tennent; and nephews, Kerry Graham and Eddy Tennent. Pam was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Donald Reid. Pam worked for the State of New Mexico for 25 years in Albuquerque. Her last position was a Quality Assurance Reviewer. She enjoyed working for local elections and she had many crafting hobbies. She also served as a volunteer child advocate for CASA after her retirement from the state. Pam always had a kind word and smile for everyone, and she made friends wherever she went.

SCHAUERTE, DONALD PAUL Passed away at age 85 on January 15, 2015 in his home in Albuquerque NM. He was born in Bellville, IL on March 8, 1929, the son of the late Martin G. and Marcella Ratheim Schauerte and the brother of the late Constance Schauerte Moore. He attended St Boniface Catholic School and Edwardsville High School in Edwardsville, IL and Bailey Technical School in St. Louis, MO. His first occupation was a Radio/Television Repairman. He married Jo Ann Mc Caine in Highland, IL on December 26, 1951. Jo Ann preceded Donald's death by two years. He was a Communication Sergeant (Sergeant Battery C) of the 209th field artillery battalion in the Illinois National Guard in 1947. He served in the Army, Third Infantry Division during the Korean War (1952 - 1953) and was awarded the Korean Service Medal with three Bronze Stars and the United Nations Service Medal. Donald and Jo Ann had two sons, Martin Donald and Andrew Paul. He was preceded by his son, Martin in 1977. Donald is survived by his son, Andrew of Albuquerque, NM; his nephews, Stephen of San Diego, CA, Thomas, and Jeffrey Moore of Edwardsville, IL; and niece Lisa Sparks of Bloomington, IL. Donald always had a passion for the outdoors. He was an Eagle Scout, assistant Scout Master and at one time, President of the New Mexico Mountain Club. Mountaineering had always been a part of his life. After a career at Western Electric, Donald took that passion and started a backpacking store in Albuquerque NM, Sandia Mountain Outfitters. Although, his work with Project Life and his contribution to defending unborn children cannot be measured and it is how most people will remember him. Visitation will be held from 6pm to 7pm, with a Rosary to follow on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM.
