GALLEGOS -- Desiderio The meaning of "True Love" sent Mr. Desi (Desiderio) Gallegos "Grandpa Sudu" home suddenly to be with his beloved wife Irene on October 12, 2006. Mr. Gallegos, 66 an Albuquerque resident all his life, born on August 31, 1940 was preceded in death by his wife Irene Gallegos 9-09-06, mother Lola Gallegos 11-00, and father Marshall Gallegos 2-88. Mr. Gallegos is survived by his loving children; his sons are Paul and wife, Jeannie; Jerry and wife, Marlene; Desi and wife Michelle; Joe and wife, Joestte; Jimmy and wife, Jenice. His loving daughters are Illene and Pete; Lorraine and husband Edward; Maria and Bruce. Mr. Gallegos has 17 loving grandchildren; 2 great-granddaughters; and 1 great-grandson on the way. Mr. Gallegos is also survived by his brothers Leo, Robert, Andy, Ruben & Pete. He also had many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. Desi worked for the Furr's Grocery Store for over 20 years as a Produce Manager. He later retired due to visual impairment and attended Highlands University where he received his Bachelors Degree in Sociology. He than became a successful business owner running Desiree's Cafe later becoming Desriee's Snacks. Desi was always trying to make people laugh with his never ending jokes and great since of humor. Dad and Mom "together forever" go in peace you taught us well, see you soon. In lieu of Flowers, Desi's wish was that donations be made to the Our Lady of Assumption Church 811 Guaymas NE. A public viewing will be held on Mon Oct 16 2006 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Riverside Funeral Home. All services will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Parish: a Viewing will be held on Monday, October 16, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. A Rosary for Mr. Gallegos will be recited following the Viewing, at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday October 17, 2006 where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Gallegos, Paul Gallegos , Leonard Gallegos, Jimmy Pat Gallegos, Andrew Gallegos & Jonathan Hernandez, "Daddy we'll miss you & we all love you" # 44. JARAMILLO -- George Antonio Jaramillo, 73, born December 17, 1932 and a life-long resident of El Rito, passed away peacefully at the age of 73 on October 13, 2006. He was preceeded in death by his father, Antonio Maria, his mother Presciliana (Garcia), brothers Guzman, Antonito and Gilbert. He is survived by his former wife Ortencia Garcia of Albuquerque, his son Raymond and wife Darla of Monument, Colorado, daughter Renea Gonzales and husband Victor of Albuquerque and youngest son Victor also of Albuquerque; his brothers, Jose Valentin and wife Sennie, Santiago and wife Bertha, Jose Rudy and wife Sennie, Guzman's wife Julia and Gilbert's wife Claudine, and eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. George was an Army veteran of the Korean conflict, later returning to El Rito and eventually moving to California where he worked for Lockheed Aircraft. A rosary will be recited at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas NE at 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 16, 2006. Friends may visit French Mortuary Monday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church, El Rito, New Mexico. Mr. Sheets retired from the military service with medal of honor 20 years and 20 years civilian employee at KAFB. Special family friends of the family Ms. Annie Chavez, Vincent R. Eloisa was a lifelong resident of Bernalillo, NM and was a member of the Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Climaco Herrera. Eloisa is survived by her loving daughter, Mary H. Chavez and husband, Lupe of Bernalillo; her grandchildren, Velda Chavez of Albuquerque, and Glenn C. Chavez Sr. of Bernalillo; great-grandchildren, Antoinette Garcia and husband, Anthony, and Glenn Chavez Jr. of Bernalillo; and one great-great-granddaughter, Alexandrea Garcia. Also surviving are her brother, Nick Mora and wife, Dolores; her sister, Angelina Baldonado; sister-in-law, Edwina Mora all of Bernalillo, NM; numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members and friends. Eloisa will be greatly missed by her loving family. A Rosary for Eloisa will be recited Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at The Church of the Incarnation, 2309 Monte Rey NE, in Rio Rancho. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:00 p.m. also at the Church.
