FOX -- Jacqueline Marie (Buers) Fox was born April 6, 1953 in Heerlen, Netherlands. She, along with her parents and sister, immigrated to Canada when she was young, later to the USA first stopping in Denver, CO and finally Albuquerque, NM in 1962. She was a life long member of the German American club of which her parents were founding members. Jacque met Dieter Fox in 1975 at the club and after dating for six weeks they were married. Jacque and Dieter had two kids during their marriage, Monkia Anne and Karl Heinrich. Jacque was an LPN and had a degree in Business Management. Jacque and Dieter opened up Dieter's German Car Specialist in October 1980. Dieter worked in the shop and Jacque did all the books for the business, as well as practicing nursing full time. Jacque and Dieter worked side by side for 20 years before they were in an accident caused by a drunk driver that forced her to step down working in the shop. In addition to the family business, Jacque was involved in many volunteer positions within the German American Club. She was one of the first to volunteer for any and all positions on the executive committees at the club to include being a past President of the GAC for a number of years. Jacque was vital in the automotive world and influential in many areas having to do with vehicles and their repair. She collected signatures to get a BMW club chapter in New Mexico. She was the first President of the NM BMW car club chapter, as well as holding other positions within the club. Jacque was involved in making guidelines dealing with legislation concerning dealer and independent auto repair shops and their rights. Additionally, she was a past president of the ASE and ASA/AASP groups. Most importantly, Jacque made sure that she was involved in her children's life and education. She first was a homeroom parent and then became a volunteer in the PTA. Jacque, being the great person that she was, then volunteered for a position on the Board of Education. This led her to further volunteer with TVI/CNM in the automotive education and teaching automotive classes for women. Jacque passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2009. Dieter, Monkia, Alison and Jordan were at home with her when she went to join her son Karl H. Fuchs Fox; and her father Hans Buers. Jacques is survived by her husband Dieter Fuchs Fox; daughter, Monika Fuchs Fox and her children Alison and Jordan Fuchs Grabke; her son, Dieter Sean Fuchs Fox and his wife Talese and their children Madelyn Tate and Dieter Carson; her son, Ryan Fuchs Fox, his wife Desiree and their daughter Danny Reese; her mother Mia Buers; her sister, Mary MacNinch and her son Scott. along with other family members in the United States and in the Netherlands. Jacque will be forever loved and missed by all who were blessed to know her. Service will be held for her on Friday, September 25, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Daniels Funeral Home on Wyoming near Paseo Del Norte. Following the Funeral there will be a burial service at the Fairview Cemetery off of Yale. A reception will follow at the Fox's House that afternoon.

HADAWAY -- William C. Hadaway, 89, a resident of Albuquerque since 1959, died on September 20, 2009 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary; sons Michael Hadaway and wife Cheryl and William C. Hadaway, Jr., both of Albuquerque; daughter Sandra Anspaugh and husband Thomas; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. William was born on July 5, 1920 in Cove, Arkansas. He was an avid fisherman and golfer and enjoyed square dancing. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be held Friday, September 25, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at The Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Blvd NE in Albuquerque, NM. JOHNSON -- Dorris Matthews Johnson died on September 18 at University Hospital in Albuquerque at age 89. She was born in Casco. Missouri, grew up in Beaufort, and graduated from Southeast Missouri State Teachers College in Cape Girardeau. After teaching in a one-room schoolhouse and serving as a sergeant in the U.S. Navy Waves during World War II, she earned a Master's degree in early childhood education from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. It was there that, on a blind date, she met her future husband, Joseph E. Johnson, a doctor for the Veterans Administration. He died in 2001. In 1959 they and their four children, George, David, Joe, and Mary, moved to Albuquerque where she became director of the Congregational Kindergarten and taught the first classes on early childhood education at the University of New Mexico. She was the first president of the New Mexico Association for the Education of Young Children and was especially proud of her work with the pueblos for the Head Start program. Dorris enjoyed spending weekends with her family at the Johnson cabin in Seven Springs and caring for her small herd of box turtles. She is survived by her four children; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service, date to be announced, will be held at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe. LUNA -- Corine Sanchez Luna, 85, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Corine was born in Saulsal, NM on January 8, 1924. She was the 7th of nine children. She spent a lively childhood growing up on a farm. She married Jesus Maria Luna in 1944. Corine raised five children, survived colon cancer, and went on to greatly enjoy her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, J.M; her five children and eight grandchildren: Alice Luna Massey husband Pat Massey, Megan, Audra and Brian Massey; Raymond Luna, wife Grace Lee Luna, Jeff and Ann Luna; Mary Ann Luers, husband Keith Luers, Jonathan, Nathan and Jessica Luers; Priscilla Hurley, husband Michael Hurley, Julie Luna, partner Miguel Trujillo. Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, September 25, 2009, 1:00 p.m., at Aquinas Newman Center on UNM Campus. Reception will follow at 923 Avenida del Sol NE. MORENO -- Ann Moreno, age 91, passed away Monday, September 21, 2009 in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ben. Born in Brooklyn New York, and a long-time resident of New Port Richey, Florida, she lived the last years of her life with her son James and daughter-in-law Mary Ann in Albuquerque, and with her son William and daughter-in-law Karen in Cache, Oklahoma. She is survived by: James and MaryAnn and their children Dennis, Christopher, Jennifer, and Daniel; William and Karen and their children Leo and Vincent; and great-grandchildren Richard, Zachary and Alexander. OSBURN -- Josephine "JoAnn" Osburn, 81, passed away Monday, September 21, 2009 at her home. She was born May 8, 1928 in Tularosa, NM a daughter of Luis and Anita Luna Vigil. She married Lee Dale Osburn, November 14, 1950 in Albuquerque. Survivors include her husband of Albuquerque; one son and two daughters, Joanna Bigfeather of La Joya Reservation, CA, John and his wife, Brenda of Albuquerque, Sharon Osburn of Edgewood, NM; two granddaughters and one grandson, Renee, Alexis, and Chase; three brothers, Johnny, Charles, and Raymond Vigil; one half-sister, Angie of El Paso, TX. QUINONES- -- Jose L. Quinones, 97, was called home to be with our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, September 23, 2009. Jose was born to Vicente and Josefa (Galli) Quinones on September 12, 1912 in Sancti Spiritus, Cuba. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his loving wife Lucrecia. Jose is survived by his children, Jose E. Quinones and wife Isabel, Esther M. Quinones, Jose A. Quinones and wife Barbara; four grandchildren, Michael, Antonio, Ricky and Vicente; two great-grandchildren, Abigail and Antonio Jose; brother Manolo Quinones. Jose has been resident of Albuquerque for 45 years. ZEIGLER -- Jane Zeigler, Indiana farm girl at heart, passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday morning, September 21, 2009 in Albuquerque. Jane was born June 25, 1922 in Rushville, IN, where she was baptized in the Presbyterian church, raised near the family farm, graduated high school, and met and married her lifelong partner of 62 years, John M. Zeigler. Jane is a graduate of Purdue University. She is survived by her husband; sons, Russell and John; and six grandchildren, Stacy Smith, Sean Zeigler, Paul Zeigler, John M. Zeigler V, Shannon Zeigler and Shane Zeigler. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Morey; and two nephews, Merrill Morey and Kirk Morey. Jane was a member of P.E.O. and a longtime resident of Asheville, NC, where she was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
