ZEIGLER -- Jane Zeigler, Indiana farm girl at heart, passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday morning, September 21, 2009 in Albuquerque. Jane was born June 25, 1922 in Rushville, IN, where she was baptized in the Presbyterian church, raised near the family farm, graduated high school, and met and married her lifelong partner of 62 years, John M. Zeigler. Jane is a graduate of Purdue University. She is survived by her husband; sons, Russell and John; and six grandchildren, Stacy Smith, Sean Zeigler, Paul Zeigler, John M. Zeigler V, Shannon Zeigler and Shane Zeigler. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Morey; and two nephews, Merrill Morey and Kirk Morey. Jane was a member of P.E.O. and a longtime resident of Asheville, NC, where she was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Graveside services will take place Saturday, September 26, 2009, at 11:00 a.m., at Cache Cemetery in Cache, OK.
