LOPEZ -- EMMA Passed away on June 29, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Isidro and Lola Lopez; sister, Mrs. Peggy Garcia; grandson, PFC Victor Salazar, USMC. She is survived by her daughter, Evelyn Salazar; granddaughter, Karen Salazar; great-granddaughter, Kylynn Brown; great-grandson, Victor Brown, all of Albuquerque; special nephew, (Retired) USN Commander Don Schade and wife, Monica of Maryland; great-nephew, Dustin Schade of Virginia; sisters, Mary Trujillo and husband, Felix, Priscilla Whiting of Albuquerque, Josie Baca and Angie Reynolds of Socorro, Maria Moad of Florida; several nieces and nephews. Emma was a graduate of Regina School of Nursing and worked at St. Joseph Hospital for 40 years as a surgical nurse. Emma was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church for 60 years. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2011, with a Rosary to follow at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2011, at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church, with interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers are Kylynn Brown, Victor Brown, Eric Garcia, Daniel Gallegos, Roy Lopez and Dustin Schade, and honorary pallbearer Dr. Raymond Matteucci. GONZALES -- WILLIAM 1935-2011 Age 76, born and raised in Pecos, NM, and a resident of Belen, NM, for over 40 years, peacefully passed away at his home on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 surrounded by his family. He was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. William owned and managed his roofing company for over 50 years. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Gonzales; his parents, Filimon Sr. and Agueda Lujan Gonzales; son, Willie Gonzales Jr.; and brothers, Bobby Gonzales and Filimon Gonzales Jr. William is survived by his loving children, Salomon and wife, Michelle, Michael and wife, Theresa, Phillip and wife, Yolanda, Douglas, Andrew, Michael Dale, Mamie, Tari and husband, Frank, Judy and husband, Vicente; brothers, Manuel Gonzales and wife, Martha, and Eloy Gonzales and wife, Dolores; sisters, Pina Quintana and Colsuelo Garcia; Tata to his 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces. All services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, beginning with a viewing at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens. TRUJILLO -- RUDY A. Rudy A. Trujillo "Adam 12", 62 years old, Albuquerque resident, left to be with the Lord on Monday June 27, 2011. He was born on May 4, 1949 in Espanola, NM. He is survived by his mother and father, Cora and Rudolph Trujillo; brother to Cora Trujillo, Danny Trujillo, Rita Trujillo, Salamon Trujillo, Grace Gutierrez, Merillyn Reed, Eva Trujillo; father of Renee P. Trujillo, Nicole C. Trujillo, Sheldon V. Trujillo, Jacob Romero, Charles Young, Jeremy Jaramillo; grandparent to Jerome Padilla, Joshua Padilla, Francisco Lovato, Martin Perchez, Julian Romero, and Chantel Young. He enjoyed spending time with his family, singing, joking, fishing, going to the Casino and playing Golf. He bravely served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a Vietnam Veteran. Rudy was a great dad and was proud of all his kids. He is truly loved and will be missed by everyone who's lives he has touched. GARCIA -- ORLANDO Jr. Was born September 4, 1949 in Albuquerque, NM, and passed away June 20, 2011. He is survived by his brother, Armando Garcia, and mother, Adela Amador. Orlando grew up in Placitas and attended the Albuquerque Academy and Occidental College. He graduated from UNM with a Bachelor of University Studies in history and received a JD from UNM Law School in 1976. Orlando was a past President/Editor of the Albuquerque Gem Mineral Club and loved attending mineral shows throughout NM and the SW. He also owned O. Garcia Real Estate for many years. His favorite pastime was spending time with family and friends. He was a kind and gentle soul, a genuine friend and will be greatly missed. A celebration of Orlando's life will be held on Saturday, July 9th at 10:00 a.m. in the atrium of 1 Executive Bldg., 8500 Menaul NE, just East of Wyoming.

OLGUIN -- MARIA MARQUEZ The Lord Jesus Christ has taken Maria Marquez-Olguin on June 25, 2011 to join her husband Jesus B. Olguin; son, Jose; daughter, Mary Reyes; son Antonio and daughter Carolina in heaven. Maria was born on February 3, 1921 in Milagro, NM. She was 90 years old and a longtime resident of Albuquerque. She will be most remembered for her perfect example of kindness and generosity towards her family, friends and all who knew and loved her. Maria is survived by 11 of her 15 children, Florencio and wife Agnes, Ernest and wife Cathy, Filemon and wife Nancy, Rebecca and husband James, Veronica Olguin, Marylou Munoz, Phillip Olguin, Jesus Olguin Jr., Frank Olguin, John Olguin and wife Irma, and Michael Olguin, as well as 38 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. A Viewing will take place at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave. NE, on Thursday, June 30, 2011, from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m., followed by a reciting of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church on Friday, July 1, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. CORTEZ -- ANDRES (POP) Pop found peace on June 25, 2011 with his loving wife of 46 years, Virginia (mom) by his side; He is survived by his two sons, Eddie Ramirez and wife Chris, Danny Ramirez and wife Dolores; daughters, Trine Garcia, Toy Moorman and husband Larry, Margaret "Lu" Ramirez, Mary Helen Griego and husband Steve, Denise Cortez-Carrillo and husband Richard, Renee Abeyta and husband Paul; his queens Samantha and Victoria Bustos and her husband Cary; 25 grandchildren; 43 great- grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. MARTINEZ -- LORENZO Age 73, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM. passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at his home in the South Valley while surrounded by family and friends. He was born in the North Valley on April 17, 1938. Lorenzo was the youngest of three brothers and had four sisters. He was the proud father of five. Lorenzo retired from the Four Hills Golf Course. Lorenzo is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Lucy; children, Robert Martinez and wife, Lupita, Debbie Zamora and husband, Gilbert, Valerie Saavedra and husband, David; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Augustine and Mary Lily Martinez and two sons, Larry and Anthony Martinez.
