LORENZO Age 73, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM. passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at his home in the South Valley while surrounded by family and friends. He was born in the North Valley on April 17, 1938. Lorenzo was the youngest of three brothers and had four sisters. He was the proud father of five. Lorenzo retired from the Four Hills Golf Course. Lorenzo is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Lucy; children, Robert Martinez and wife, Lupita, Debbie Zamora and husband, Gilbert, Valerie Saavedra and husband, David; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Augustine and Mary Lily Martinez and two sons, Larry and Anthony Martinez. A Rosary to be recited at Saint Anne's Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd SW, Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at 8:15 a.m.; Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated also at Saint Anne's Catholic Church, Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at 9:00 a.m.; Inurnment to follow at Fairview Memorial Park.
