SEGURA -- RICHARD Was a fun loving son, father, brother, uncle and grandpa who loved life. Richard was 51. He was born on October 19, 1959 and was taken from us on July 1, 2011. Richard is survived by his mom and dad, Alex and Pauline Zamora; his four children, Chino, Paula, Sasha and Jenna; his brother, Ernest Segura and wife, Mary Jane; his sister-in-law, Keli Knapic and husband. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Richard was preceded in death by his grandma, Carlota Espinosa; his brother, Alex Zamora; and uncles, Felipe, Pete and Victor Espinosa. May you rest in peace, son. Services will be held Sunday, July 10, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at San Lorenzo Church on Canoncito Rd. in Cedar Crest. Rosary read by Magdalene Garcia.

GARCIA -- PATRICK ANTHONY Age 51, loving husband, father, grandpa, son, brother, and friend was called home by the Lord on Sunday, July 3, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Maria Flores-Garcia; children, Teresa Gonzales, Kristin Callison and husband, Sam, Ambrosia Daul, and Herman Garcia; mom, Rose Garcia; grandchildren, Aleicia, Braden, Abigail, and Paula Jade; brothers and sisters, Joseph Garcia and wife, Cathy, Henrietta Macias, Peggy Gutierrez and husband, Mano, Louie Garcia and wife, Roberta, Valerie Montano and husband, Danny, and Charlie Garcia and wife, Shantelle; father and mother-in-law, Herman and Dorothy Flores; brothers and sister-in-law, Ramona Montoya and husband, Lionel, Julian Flores, and Fabian Flores and wife, Barbara; 24 nieces and nephews; 26 great-nieces and nephews, seven aunts and uncles, and a very special family friend, Mike Garcia, who was like a father figure to Patrick after his father passed away. Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Marcial Garcia; brother, Eric Gabriel Garcia; grandson, Michael Padilla, and brother-in-law, Robert "Bob" Macias. Patrick was very creative and hardworking. He began working in the carpet business with his father's tools, at the age of 16, alongside Mike Garcia. He was a business owner before becoming sole proprietor of Cutting Edge Carpets 17 years ago. He also loved gardening and the outdoors. He was a very generous person with a quick wit. His smile and laughter were contagious. He loved hard, worked hard, and did everything with 100% of his heart. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 8, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church 1400 Arenal Blvd. SW, with rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will also be at St. Anne's on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Patrick will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park following church services. ESPALIN -- LUCY Age 85, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, completed her journey on this earth Saturday, July 2, 2011. She was born in Bernalillo, NM, and was a resident of Albuquerque. Lucy loved all her family, especially her husband, Quirino, which she always watched over. She enjoyed cooking for her family; and most of all, she loved our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Erminia and Abel Garcia; brother, Junior Garcia; and sister, Connie Gutierrez. Lucy is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Quirino Espalin; her sons, Abel and wife Anna, and Larry and wife, Virginia; five grandchildren, Abel, Jr. and wife Ramona, Stephanie and husband Johnny Ortega, Stacie, Isaac and Matthew Espalin; two great-grandchildren, Jalen and Emma Marie; her loving sister, Viola Pena and husband Fred; other relatives and friends. Lucy will be greatly missed by all. Visitations will be today (Wednesday) from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services- Alameda Mortuary.
