Ramirez -- Mr. Pedro A. Ramirez, 90, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on February 27, 2000 peacefully at home in the arms of his loved ones. Mr. Ramirez is the beloved Father to Tony Ramirez and wife, Catherine Van Damme-Ramirez and Larry Ramirez and wife, Theresa. He is also survived by one sister, Martha Montoya; niece, Francis Montoya; nephew, Deacon Manuel Montoya and wife, Eileen; eight grandchildren, Christopher and wife, Irene, Monica, Jennifer, Vincent, Michael and wife, Jane, Kathleen, Jo Ann T. and husband, John, Collette and husband, Gary; eleven great-grandchildren, Ryan, Catherine and husband, Jason, Antoinette, Tommy, Adam, Steven, James, Kimberly, Stephanie, Jacob, Jenna Marie; three great-great grandchildren, Kaylee, Valarie and Julia Rose; many other extended cousins and relatives. He is preceded in death by his wife, Josephine; grandson, Thomas, and great-grandson, Johnathan. Mr. Ramirez was a member of the Catholic Church, played a guitar with choir at St. Charles Church, retired after 35 years with the Santa Fe Railroad. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at San Felipe Catholic Church, 2005 Plaza NW with Deacon Manuel Montoya, reciting. Visitation will be at the church after 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at San Felipe Church with final viewing at the church after 9:30 a.m. Rev. Msgr. Leo Lucero, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Ramirez, Christopher Ramirez, Vincent Ramirez, Michael Ramirez, John Montoya and Tommy Archuleta. Honorary Gary Archuleta and Sal Hernandez. Williams -- Helen C. Williams, 77, a resident of Albuquerque since 1979, died Sunday, February 27, 2000. She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Dwor and husband, Marc of Albuquerque, Patricia Williams and husband, Albert Gatto of New York, NY and Maureen Figge and husband, Fred of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Anissa Helen Roy, Danielle and Michelle Dwor, and LeAnne and James Williams; sister, Marilyn Corcoran of Long Island, NY; and brother, John McLouglin of Brooklyn, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Williams and daughter, MaryAnn Williams. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Lawlis and wife, Melinda of Albuquerque; daughter, Linda Carroll and husband, Kevin of Albuquerque; granddaughters, Tara, Lorie and Lindsey Lawlis, McKinnon and Letitia Carroll; brother, John Brown and wife, Carol of Casper, WY; and sister, Pearle Anderson of San Diego, CA. Mary was a member of First Unitarian Church and the Shamrock Extension Women's Club. Private family services will be held. Skeba -- James E. Skeba, 50, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2000. He was born on April 13, 1949 to James and Patricia Collison Skeba in Freeland, Michigan. James loved to go hiking in the Sandia mountains, was a member of the NRA, and was very interested in astronomy. He was also a member of the local Tourette Group in Albuquerque. James worked for the Albuquerque Public Schools as a computer programmer. He was a very devoted husband and father and will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. James is survived by his loving wife, Marianne of Rio Rancho; and his beloved daughter, Heather; his parents, James and Patricia of Freeland, Michigan; brother, Thomas Skeba and wife, Patty of Florida; sister, Debra Jones and husband, Timothy of Michigan; brother-in-laws, Paul Lemke and wife, Betty of Albuquerque, Walter Lemke and wife, Laura of Michigan; mother-in-law, Clara Lemke of Michigan. A visitation for James will be held on Monday, February 28 in the chapel of Rio Rancho Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 29th at 2:00 p.m., also in the chapel of Rio Rancho Funeral Home. Ward -- Norma Louise Constant Ward, 81, peacefully rejoined her husband, James D. Ward; and grandson, Dave Ed Ward on Monday, February 21, 2000. She was born in Oklahoma and moved to New Mexico in 1938 to marry James Ward, where they lived the rest of their lives together. Throughout her years in New Mexico, Norma gave her compassion, time and attention to raising her two sons, as well as volunteering for many organizations, including Boy Scouts of America, Cub Scouts, B.O.L.F. & E., the"Gray Ladies", United Methodist Church, and Peralta Methodist Church. She had also worked as a server and hostess for several of the historical"Route 66" restaurants. She will be remembered for her winning smile and for her undying love for her family. Norma is survived by her sons, James Jr. and Russell Ward; her sister, Betty Crow and their families. The family would like to express appreciation to Sharon Sanders and Pamela Postlethwaite for their understanding care during Norma's final illness. Cremation has taken place.
