WINKLER -- William J. "Bill" Winkler, 83, a long-time resident of Albuquerque, died on Thursday, November 18, 2004. He is survived by his daughter, Shirley Cowie and husband Jim of Michigan; daughter, Barbara Alexander and husband Robert of Texas; grandchildren, Aaron Hollan and wife Laura, James Hollan and wife Ashley, Eric Smith, David Smith and wife Wendy, Adrienne Elliot and husband Peter, and Anne Cowie; sisters, Evelyn Snyder, and Dorothy Kamplaus and husband Leo; and many other family and friends including dear friends Margaret, Mary, Victor, Crystal, and Joan. William served in the U.S. Air Corp. during WWII. He enjoyed playing guitar, retired after many years in the Food Distribution Business, loved flying, and had dreams of building his own plane. William was also a member of Risen Savior Catholic Community. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 22, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. ARMIJO -- Daniel Armijo, age 67, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, was called home by our Heavenly Father, on Wednesday, November 17, 2004. Daniel was a lifelong resident of Alameda; and a member of the Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo and Louisa Armijo; brothers, Walter and David Armijo; a daughter, Gloria Jean Day; and a son, Rudy Armijo. Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Bertha of the family home; three sons, Jason, Walter, and Antonio Armijo; six daughters, Anntonette, Kathy, Linda, Anna Armijo, Christine Cordova and husband, Ruben, and Abby Armijo and husband, David Montoya; twelve grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Also surviving are a brother, Alfred Armijo; sisters, Sophie Armijo-Gallegos and husband, Ross, Sylvia Armijo-Romero and husband, Mark, Yvonne Armijo, Theresa Villanueva and husband, Rick; numerous nieces, nephews, other beloved family members and friends. Daniel will be greatly missed by his loving family. Visitations will be Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church; where a Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Final viewing will be Tuesday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Carlos Cemetery. DYER -- Ralph Dyer, 60, a lifelong resident and businessman of Albuquerque died Thursday, November 18, 2004. He was born on June 14, 1944 to Donald and Evelyn (Gardner) Dyer in Albuquerque. Ralph is survived by his wife, Linda Kimbrough Dyer; his daughter, Sellena Ann Riske of California; two step-daughters, Kimberly Sullins and Kristi Kimbrough both of Albuquerque; a brother, Edward Dyer and wife, Janelle of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren; and three nephews, Darrell, David, and Steven Dyer. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 22, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald & Son Chapel. FITZGERALD -- William Roy Fitzgerald, 89, a resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, November 19, 2004. Roy was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas on July 5, 1915. He was a veteran of World War II, serving several months in the Philippine Islands. Roy moved to Albuquerque in September 1956 and worked 26 years for Genuine Parts Co., retiring March 31, 1982. He was a member of First Baptist Church for 48 years, where he served as a choir member and Deacon Emeritus. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Beatrice S. Fitzgerald; daughter, Ann F. Harbour; grandson, Virgil G. Harbour; sister-in-law, Lucille S. Robert, all of Albuquerque; niece, Patricia Dardano of Memphis, TN; and nephew, Gerry Nash of Charlotte, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Clara F. Nash and Perle F. Stacy; two brothers, Harry and James Fitzgerald; and a grandson, James Harbour. Services will be held Monday, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, with Brother James Nelson and Brother Bruce Rich officiating. MARTINEZ -- Anna. Ms. Anna Martinez, 88, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on November 18, 2004. Ms. Martinez is survived by her brother, Joe E. Martinez Jr.; sister in law, Margaret Martinez; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ms. Martinez was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Flora Martinez; a sister, Guadalupe Martinez, three brothers, Natividad C. Martinez, Carlos Martinez and Manuel Martinez; sisters in law, Loriena Martinez and Frances Martinez. Ms. Martinez was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation for Ms. Martinez will be Sunday afternoon from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 9502 4th St. NW with a Rosary to be recited at 4:00 p.m. by Charles Aguilar. OLIVEIRA -- Maria Lucy Oliveira, age 82, passed away at home, Thursday, November 18, 2004. She was a longtime resident of Albuquerque.
