GARCIA -- Fabricio (Fred) (Bob) Garcia, 98, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on Friday, July 10, 2009. Mr. Garcia is survived by his loving wife of seventy eight years, Lugardita (Laura) Garcia; three children, Elva Bonham, Betty Bryant, Leonard Garcia (Freddie) and wife, Stella ; two brothers, Patricio (Pete) Garcia, Oscar Garcia and wife, Helen; five grandchildren, Emily Rush and Rick Aragon, Donald Bryant and Cindy Tyler and Claudette Horn; nine great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by his parents, Escolastico and Soraida Garcia; a daughter, Irene Aragon; a sister, Benardita Gallegos; brothers, Fidel Garcia, Ross Garcia and Henry Garcia; sons-in-law, Orlando Aragon, Terrell Bonham and Gene Bryant. Mr. Garcia was a member of the Catholic Church and was retired from Navajo Freight Lines, after 32 years of service. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd NW, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. Final visitation will be Wednesday, July 15, 2009, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Father Joel Garner, presider. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Horn, Cesario Alvillar, Rick Aragon, Leroy Garcia, Carl Sanchez, David Garcia. Honorary pallbearer will be Steve Garcia. SANCHEZ -- Felix Sanchez born January 15, 1922, in Ojo del Espirito Santo, NM, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, July 12, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents Ruben and Teodorita Sanchez; sisters, Cruzita Pena, Teofila Gallegos and Rita Chavarria. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Porfiria Sanchez; his children, Shirley Sanchez and husband Tony, Rosemary Valdez and husband Joddie, Julia Gutierrez and husband Felix, Leroy Sanchez and wife Evelyn, Francisco Sanchez and wife Lorraine, Bridget Gutierrez and husband Sosteno, Laura Valdez and husband Bobby, Ruben Sanchez and wife Daphnie, Julian Sanchez and wife Debbie; brothers, Moises Sanchez, Frank Sanchez, David Sanchez and wife Petrolina; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends. Felix will be greatly missed. PFC Sanchez honorably served his country in the United States Army during World War II, he was awarded two Battle Stars, Combat Infantry medal, and a Purple Heart. He retired from Duke City Lumber. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cuba, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Cuba Catholic Cemetery. Pall Bearers will be his grandchildren, Jolynn Sandoval, Sabrina Chavez, Justin Valdez, Candie, Sherilyn, Nolan, Stephanie and Jonoah Sanchez. GALLEGOS -- A.R. "Tommy" Gallegos, age 69, passed away July 9, 2009 in Amarillo, TX. He is preceded in death by his father, Bonnie Gallegos; and his late wife, Patricia Gallegos. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Goggans; his mother, Julia Gallegos; his daughter, Lynette Gallegos (George Sandoval); his son, Mike Gallegos (Jana); his grandchildren, Justin Mayrant (Amanda), Amanda Mayrant, Cody Gallegos, Charlene Gallegos, Alana Mayrant; his brothers, Ernest Gallegos (Lucy), Louis Gallegos (Bea), Albert Gallegos (Anabelle), and Danny Gallegos; son-in-law, Chris Mayrant; Kay Gallegos; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends that he loved dearly. Tommy was born in Tucumcari, NM on June 18, 1940 to Bonaficio and Julia Gallegos. He grew up and graduated in Logan, NM. He was a retiree from the insurance industry, and was the owner of Superior Insurance Agency and Insurance Plans Unlimited. Tommy loved horse racing. Serving as Pallbearers are Justin Gallegos and Cody Gallegos. Honorary Pallbearers are Chris Mayrant, Lynn Jerry, Paul Longoria and Tommy R. Gallegos. A Rosary will be recited Sunday, July 12, 2009, 7 p.m. at Santa Maria de la Paz. A Mass will be celebrated Monday, July 13, 2009, 10 a.m. at Santa Maria de la Paz with interment to follow at Rosario Cemetery. NIETO -- Maria T. Nieto (Teofila, Teo), our angel, returned to her place in heaven to join her husband Samuel on July 9, 2009. A resident of Albuquerque, NM, and born July 29, 1925, she is survived by three sons and two daughters, Joe Nieto; Robert Nieto and wife Amy, Sam Nieto and wife Sydney, Helen Gallegos and husband Gilbert, Rose Gallegos; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; as well as a second family; and countless other relatives and friends.
