SAVAGE, CHARLES E. Charles (Papa) E. Savage lost his battle with cancer on April 13, 2014. He was born May 11, 1931 in Lawrence, Kansas and was a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico since 1963. He is survived by his sweetheart Marilyn Williams; children Cassandra Betsworth, Dianna Solano Savage, and son in law Chris Betsworth; grandchildren Sommer Betsworth, Cody Grenfell, and Jordan Grenfell; his great-granddaughter Addison Betsworth-Mohn; siblings John Savage, Stuart Savage, Marge Umbach and Bernice Kleinfeldt. Services will be held at The Family Worship Center, 7311 Glenrio Rd., Albuquerque, New Mexico at 11 am on April 22, 2014. A reception will immediately follow at the same location. In lieu of flowers we kindly request donations to be made to animal rescue organization Watermelon Mountain Ranch.

ROBERTSON, BETTY JEAN Age 85, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014. Betty was born on January 2, 1929 in Albuquerque, NM. Betty was retired from Sun West bank where she worked in the trust department for many years. She always enjoyed discussing current affairs, reading the newspaper, and people watching. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Eugene Robertson. She is survived by three brothers and a sister, Joe Sheets, Tim Sheets, Phil Sheets, and Margaret Sheets; her children, Anne Lafon, Albuquerque, NM, Ruth Jordan and her husband Richard, Las Vegas, NV, Dan Fulkerson and his wife Durlinda, Scottsdale, AZ, and Joan Fulkerson, Albuquerque, NM; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. ANDERSON, NEIL LAURENCE JR. went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 3, 2014. Neil was born April 9, 1931 to Neil and Marge Anderson in Chicago, Il. He graduated from Northwestern University Business School. Neil married Virginia "Ginny" Rae Patek on January 5, 1957. He is preceded in death by his parents and the love of his life Ginny. The legacy of love continues through Neil and Ginny's six children and eleven grandchildren; Bruce Anderson and his wife Lanell and their children Craig and Elizabeth of Albuquerque, and Thomas of Dallas, TX, Sharon Mikkelson and her husband Don of Rio Rancho, Gary Anderson and his wife Annette and their children Jordan and Taylor of Albuquerque, Cindy Shatto and her husband Norm of Los Ranchos, and their children, Kristy Dickson and Gina Ashe, and Danny Dickson and Becca Garcia of Phoenix, AZ, and Norm Shatto Jr., of Albuquerque, Ken Anderson and his wife Terry of Dallas, TX, Christine Dietz and her husband Andy and their children Brant, Amanda, Madison and Joshua of Albuquerque. GALLEGOS, FELIPE age 67, of Las Vegas, NM passed away peacefully on April 3, 2014 at The VA Hospital in Albuquerque, NM after a hard fought battle with lung cancer. He was born July 6, 1945 to Deluvina and Benjamin Gallegos. He worked as a carpet layer before honorably serving in the United States Army. He retired after many years of service. He also was a HAM radio operator for many years. He loved fishing and drinking Coca-Cola. Felipe is survived by his mother Deluvina Gallegos; Sisters Helen (Chris) Trujillo and family, Catherine Rubio and family; and Brother Steven Gallegos; Children Anthony (Leanne) Gallegos of Denver, CO, Rosella (Vincent) Montoya of Albuquerque, NM, Phillip (Mary) Gallegos Jr. of Santa Fe, NM; Grandchildren Joe, Estephanita, Candida (Jordan), Maria, Esperanza, Moisis, Benjamin (Shayla), Mark, Heather, Andria, Vanessa; Great- Grandchildren Ella, Natalya, Simora, Destiny; Also, his first wife, Julia Garcia, of 30 years; three children; second wife Irene Sandoval, no children; his third wife Grace Gonzalez and sons from previous marriage Ted and Nefe. He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Gallegos; Son, Delon Gallegos; Sister, Rosalie Montoya; Mother of Anthony, Dora Valdez; Nephews, Mathew and Mark Montoya, Ricky Trujillo; Nieces, Maryann Trujillo, Jennifer Maes. The viewing was held on Monday, April 7, 2014 at Riverside Funeral Home Chapel, 225 San Mateo NE, at 6 PM followed by a Rosary at 7 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at St. Therese Little Flower Church, 300 Mildred NW at 9 AM. Following his services, his interment will be at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM at 3PM. He will always be our son, brother, father, grandfather, and uncle.

CASWELL, CONCHA V. CASTILLO 1925 - 2014 Concha V. Castillo Caswell, age 88, a resident of Belen, NM passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014. She was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. She was robust, energetic and loved life and took great pride in raising her children. Concha enjoyed working outdoors raising animals and cared for her plants and garden. She loved to socialize over drinks with her family, friends, and son-in-law, Richard. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cosme and Rosa Rayes Valadez; her first husband and father of her children, Gregorio Castillo Sr.; son, Gregorio Castillo Jr.; and her second husband, Clyde Caswell. Concha is survived by her loving children, Rosa Perea, Robert, Carlos, Cosme, Rita Aragon, Udell and David; grandchildren, Greg Clarke, Linda Silva, Jesse Aragon, Tracy Castillo, Alane Stanton, Yvonne Romero, Rebecca Castillo and Derek Castillo; great-grandchildren, Cevin, Justin, Christyne, Stephen, Brandon, Ariel, Nicholas, Luke, Jesse, Jordan, Jake, Frankie and Diego; and great-great-grandchildren, Colten and Landon. She is also survived by her special niece, Martha Zamora and many nieces and nephews. All services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 8th beginning with a Viewing at 9:00 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. with Father Stephen Schultz presiding. Interment will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Wednesday, April 9th at 9:45 a.m. Pallbearers will be Greg Clarke, Linda Silva, Jesse Aragon, Tracy Castillo, Alane Stanton, Rebecca Castillo, Yvonne Romero and Derek Castillo. GOODMAN, RICHARD H. Richard, Age 78, born and raised in Bottineau, North Dakota and moved to Albuquerque in 1984. Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Uncle, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 31, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents Steve and Sylvia Goodman and his brother Robert Goodman. Richard is survived by his wife of 53 years Doris; his children Chella Woltag, Bonnie Goodman, Bradley Goodman and wife Cynthia; five grandchildren Cherisse Woltag, Jordan, Justin, Asia and Ches Goodman; his brother Jim Goodman; and many family and friends.
