ANTRAM, CORMAC REV. OFM Fr. Cormac Antram OFM died at St. John Care Center in Albuquerque, NM on Tuesday, October 1, 2013; he was 87. A native New Mexican, Fr. Cormac was born on May 18, 1926. He is one of eight children of James and Goldie (Day) Antram of Roswell. He is survived by brother, Richard and many nieces and nephews. He became a Franciscan on August 15, 1945, and a year later professed first vows. In 1949, he professed solemn vows. Fr. Cormac was ordained a priest on June 8, 1954. His first assignment was to St Michaels Mission in 1954, and he spent the rest of his life in ministry to the Dine? in Chinle, Houck, Kayenta, and St Michaels in AZ and at the Catholic Indian Center in Gallup and St. Mary Mission in Tohatchi, NM. Reception of the body and wake service will take place at St Michaels Mission, St. Michaels AZ on Sunday, October 6th, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Michaels Mission on Monday, October 7th, beginning at 10 :00 a.m. Interment will take place at the friary Cemetery followed by a reception in the St. Michaels Mission Parish Hall.

ARAGON, BERNA B. Berna went to be with our Lord on October 2, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Adela Bachicha. Berna is survived by her husband of 58 years: Charlie V. Aragon; her children: Dolores (Albert) Sedillo, Paul D. (Lisa Bishop) Aragon, Anna M. Aragon, C. Vincent (Carla) Aragon Jr., Steve Aragon, and Roberto (Lynn) Aragon; her brothers: Benny (Teresa) Bachicha and Frank Bachicha; her sister: Irene Lucero. Berna has 17 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Berna was a very gentle person who loved all her children and grandchildren. She was a music teacher who enjoyed bowling and travel. She took many cruises, her favorites were Hawaii and the Panama Canal. She meant so much to so many. She would have said to her family and friends, "God Bless You". Berna's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation and Rosary held at Salazar Mortuary on Sunday, October 6, starting at 6:30 pm. A Catholic Service will be held at Our Lady of Assumption (811 Guaymas Pl. NE, Lomas and Tennessee) on Monday, October 7th, at 10:00 am, followed by burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Berna's pallbearers will be Paul Aragon, Steve Aragon, Roberto Aragon, Steven Aragon Jr., James Blackwell and Bobby Thompson Jr. Her honorary pallbearers will be Pastor Orlando Pineda and all her additional grandchildren and great grandchildren. MCCLUNG, SCOTT ALLEN Age 52, born March 24, 1961 and passed away on Monday, September 30, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas McClung. Scott is survived by his only daughter, Lyndsey McClung of Albuquerque; mother, Fern McClung of Albuquerque; sisters, Vicki Carr of Nashville, TN, Marla Carr of Knoxville, TN, and Lori Nutter of Albuquerque; five nephews; one niece; five great-nieces; and longtime companion, Cody James of Albuquerque. Cremation will take place and a private family memorial is planned. Arrangements entrusted to Riverside Funeral Home. HOPKINS, EDWARD W. Age 62, of Santa Fe, passed away on October 2, 2013 suddenly. He was born on October 19, 1950 to Adella and Edwin Hopkins who have preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Loranzita Martinez; his wife of 44 years, Dolores Hopkins; his sister, Nancy Gutierrez; brother, George Martinez; brother-in-law, James Roybal; daughter-in-law, Angel Gonzales-Hopkins. Edward is survived by his daughter, Angel; son, Edward; son, Anthony and fianee Felisha; daughter, Anita and husband Manoj; sister, Margaret (Jr); sister, Louise (Gordon); sister, Pricilla, Terri (David); sister-in-law, Barbara; brother-in-law, Carlos (Connie); sister-in-law, Candy (Frank); sister-in-law, Nina (Dan); along with 1ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews. CAMPOS, BONIFACIO BONES age 89, was born on October 22, 1923 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a supporter of the National World War II Memorial in Washington D.C. Our beloved father and grandfather was a World War II Veteran, who was at Utah Beach on D-Day. His Infantry Division was credited with flanking the enemy to give our troops a fighting chance to get off the Beaches of Normandy. The Ninth Infantry Division was also credited for capturing a howitzer long gun that helped keep the enemy at bay that same day. Bonifacio Bones Campos survived many battles in Europe. One battle he never liked talking about was the Battle of the Bulge. This was the first battle that he had to kill the enemy in hand to hand combat. In July of 1944 he earned his first Purple Heart and continued on to liberate France. His last tour took him from Europe to North Africa, where he and his fellow comrades defeated Romo. In his Military career he earned a Purple Heart and was also given the Bronze Star for his part in Keeping America Safe. All I can say is that our beloved father, grandfather was a true American hero and he will be missed by many. God speed, Bones and Rest in Paradise. Bones was preceded in death by his daughter Lupe Smith; son, Andy Campos and sister Julia Montoya. He is survived by his daughters Mary Gallegos, Janette Lowe and husband George and Joanne Campos; son, Joseph Campos; grandchildren, Ruben, Brenda, Yvette, Denise, Yasmine, Donald, Jerry Lee, Virginia Rose, Andy, Kenny and Roby; nineteen great grandchildren, seven great great-grandchildren as well as many other family and friends who loved and will miss him. A Rosary will be recited in the Chapel of Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW. on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 10:00am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 309 Stover Ave. S.W. on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 10:00am. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30pm. HARRISON, MONICA H. a resident of Los Lunas, New Mexico, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2013. She was born August 20, 1939 in San Pedro, New Mexico to Jose and Emena Montoya. Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, Nicanor Gallegos and granddaughter, Denelia Maestas. She is survived by her loving husband, Stanley Harrison of the family home; her daughter, Daisy Sheila Cornelison and husband Marty; stepchildren, Deborah, Myra and James; her brother, Joe A. Montoya and wife Viola; her sisters, Helen Salazar and husband Alex, Maxine Ramirez, Janette Ramirez and husband Ralph and Therese Maestas and husband Bengy; special grandchildren, James Maestas, Elaine Cordova and husband Josh Cornelison Jr., and Eric Cornelison; 20 grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, loving friends and neighbors. LOPEZ, NORBERTO C. Norbert passed away in Hillsboro, OR on 9/22/13, which was to be his last venture. His death was preceded by his mother and father, Ana Maria and Nicholas Lopez. Our beloved Norbert was an amazing, smart, loving, kind hearted man who was passionate about what he believed. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Dolores. He was the proud father of Nick, Terry and husband Mark Robinson, Norbert, Tirzio and his step-children Dominic and Deanna and husband Leonard Zamora. He also loved so much his grandchildren, Nick James, Steven, Kassy, Eric, Melissa, and Zachary as well as his step -grandchildren, Leonard Louis, Dakota, and Nicki Zamora. Many thanks to his two brothers Carlos and Pat and six sisters, Crusie, Rachel, Bernice, Antonia, Rose, and Lorainne for all their love and support. He will be dearly missed by the many friends at the American Legion Post 100 and his beloved Brotherhood, Local 412. Mass will be held at Sacred Heart at 4th and Stover in Albuquerque- 10:00 am. on Saturday, 10/5/13.

PADILLA, DAVID of Santa Fe, passed away on September 30, 2013. He was born on February 11, 1955 in Ely, Nevada. David was preceded in death by parents John and Clara Padilla, and by his father-in-law Julian Pohl. He is survived by his wife Donna Pohl Padilla; his brothers Robert (Diane), Alfred (Barbara), Raymond (Jacqueline) and Vincent (Frances); his sisters Olivia Espinoza (Harry) and Mary Ann Lucero (Herman); his mother-in-law Frances Pohl; his brothers-in-law Henry Pohl (Barbara), Rudy Pohl (Deborah), Wilfred Pohl and Julian Pohl; his sister-in-law Frieda Saiz (Tommy); his godsons Joseph Pohl and Nicholas David Lucero and thirty two nieces and nephews.
