Porter -- Dr. Harvey Porter, 69, a resident of Albuquerque for 42 years, died Sunday, March 22, 1998. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and faithful Christian servant. Dr. Porter is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sue Porter of the family home; daughters, Paula Hutton and husband James of Edmond, OK and Carla Williams of Graham, TX; sons, Joel Porter and wife, Sabrina of Dallas, TX and Sam Porter of Albuquerque, and grandchildren, Bethany Hutton, Daniel Hutton, Marin Hutton, Erica Williams, Matthew Williams, Rachel Porter and Mason Porter. Dr. Porter was born and raised in Childress, TX. He received his Bachelor's degree from Abilene Christian University, his Masters degree from Pepperdine University, and his Doctorate from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago, IL. Dr. Porter preached in Tyler, TX and Georgetown, TX, moving to Albuquerque in 1956. He began preaching at San Pedro Church of Christ, which later became Montgomery Blvd. Church of Christ. He continued as the pulpit minister there, until his retirement after 39 years of service. He then taught one trimester as a guest lecturer at Oklahoma Christian University. During the past year, Dr. Porter was serving as one of the ministers of the Northeast Albuquerque Church of Christ. He was a student and a teacher of biblical archeology and made 32 trips to the Holy Lands to photograph biblical sights and artifacts. KNME TV presented him and his work in 52 programs entitled"Yesterday is Alive". Dr. Porter also lectured at schools, universities, churches, and civic organizations. He was a true friend and an example to all the lives he touched. His memory will live on in the hearts of the thousands who knew him and loved him. Services will be held Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at the Netherwood Park Church of Christ. San Mateo at Indian School Rd. NE, with George Bailey and John Phillis officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE. Pallbearers will be Nolan Craig, Alton Meador, John Tribble, Ennis Walker, Ray King and Al Sharp. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Woodall, Dennis Setliff, Ken Dout, Tobey Pierce, Bill Lawrence, Joe Mahaffey and Joe Groom. Randall -- Marion A. (Gooding) Randall, born in Ypsilanti, Michigan on May 6, 1911, a longtime resident of Paradise Hills, Albuquerque, died Friday, March 13, 1998, in Gresham, Oregon. She was married in 1933 to Leland M. Randall, they had two children, Marshall and Leonard, who live in the Gresham, Portland, Oregon area. Marion received a Master of Arts in Education from Eastern Michigan University. She taught Elementary school, mainly as a substitute teacher. Being a very fine pianist and organist, she played in churches, both in Ypsilanti, MI, then in Albuquerque. Mrs. Randall had a stroke in 1989 and had been in and out of nursing centers since that time. Her husband, Leland M. Randall, 88 years old, a retired school teacher from Ypsilanti High School, preceded her in death last December 21. Mrs. Randall's brother, Robt. L. Gooding lives in Liuonia, MI. There will be a memorial service at the Lighthouse Baptist Church, March 25, at 6:30 p.m. The church is located at 149 Mountain Park Place NW, Suite A; call 294-3065 for directions. Burial will be at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Rio Rancho, NM.

Roholt -- Michael"Mike" Roholt, 13, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, March 21, 1998. He is survived by his parents, Steven and Sue Roholt of the family home; sister, Meredith Roholt; brother, Taylor Roholt; maternal grandparents, Dr. Robert Manderscheid and Mrs. Colleen Manderscheid; paternal grandparents, Gordon and Jane Roholt; aunts and uncles, Donna Manderscheid of Phoenix, AZ, Jane Hardy and husband, Jim of Tucson, AZ, Joan Manderscheid of Des Moines, IA, Diane Byriel and husband, Brian of Boone, IA, Michael Manderscheid and wife, Elizabeth of Grimes, IA, Judy Kjelstad and husband, Mick of Maple Grove, MN and Gary Roholt and wife, Deb, and Dave Roholt and wife, Karen, all of Eau Claire, WI; and numerous cousins. Mike loved snowboarding and skateboarding. He had a deep love for animals and volunteered at the Animal Humane Association. Mike played the saxaphone and enjoyed the Hummingbird Music Camp. He loved fishing with his Dad and Grandpa. Mike loved his youth group at Calvary Chapel, where he let Jesus Christ into his heart and found peace. Mike's life will be celebrated Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at Calvary Chapel, 4001 Osuna Rd. NE, with Pastor Alan Brooks and Danny Schumann officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Bill Benge, Jack McCarthy, Ray Montgomery, Mike Potter, Chuck Crago and Gary Mahboub. Sena -- Marie L. Sena (Lillie), 84, born in Lemitar, NM, and has been a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, March 20, 1998. Lillie has gone to join her beloved husband, Joe J. Sena and her family and friends in Heaven. Lillie is survived by her sister, Ernestine Lynde of Albuquerque; her niece, Lynda Comitz; great-niece, Michelle Comitz; great-nephews, Joshua Comitz, Jason Comitz, Chanse McCoy; and great-great-nephew, Dominic Vargas, all of Albuquerque; along with many other nephews and nieces. Mass will be held today, 9:00 a.m., at San Ignacio Catholic Church. Pallbearers are Joshua Comitz, Chanse McCoy, Danny Lugo, Joe Cordova, Joe Vigil, and Roberto Mondragon. Sisneros -- Mrs. Lucy G. Sisneros, 79, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on March 21, 1998. Mrs. Sisneros is survived by one son, Ralph Garcia and wife, Jeannie of Irvine, CA; daughters, Libby Garcia and Jimmy Lucero, Frances Zimmerly and husband, Juan, Betty Johnson and husband, Mike; two brothers, Gilbert Griego and wife, Mary, and Augustin Griego and wife, Joann; eight sisters, Tillie Garcia and husband, Ross, Charlotte Serna, Lena Garcia, Ruby Martinez and husband, Johnny, Vergie Narvaes and husband, Skippy, Stella Sandoval and husband, Benny, Rosemary Montoya and husband, Tony, and Bea Baca and husband, Alex of Downey, CA; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a special nephew, Richard Sanchez and wife, Debbie; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Sisneros was a member of the Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited Tuesday evening, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos NW, with visitation at the church after 6:30 p.m. Gabriella Nieto will recite the rosary. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning, 9:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with final viewing at the church from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Father Aragon, Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Pallbearers will be Richard Sanchez, Michael Johnson Jr., Jason Zimmerly, David Barton, Jerry Garcia and Jeremy Unale. Smith -- Jessemae Sinclair Smith, widow of Joseph L. Smith, passed away March 21, 1998 at the age of 92 surrounded by her family. She was born in Butte, Nebraska on April 10, 1905. She graduated from Mercy College Nursing School in Chicago, IL. She practiced nursing in Chicago in the late 1920's, moved to Los Angeles where she was a nurse at Hollywood Hospital. She met her husband in the 1933 Los Angeles earthquake. They married and moved to Albuquerque that year. Her husband practiced law in Albuquerque until his death in 1976. She has been a resident of Good Samaritan Manzano del Sol for the past seven years. She is survived by two daughters, Cecilia Ransom and husband, Dick, Sally Grady and husband, Don, all of Albuquerque. Seven grandchildren, Jim Ransom, and wife, Roma, Jo Ellen Howarth and husband, Sam, John Ransom and wife, Julie, all of Albuquerque, Joe Grady and wife, Lauri, of Albuquerque, Christine Shereston and husband, Barry of Johannesburg, South Africa, Tom Grady of Chicago, IL and Donna Barrett and husband, Geoff of Chatham, NJ; six great-grandchildren, Zack and Lauren Howarth, Daisy Ransom, Sean and Cole Grady and Luke Shereston. Sparks -- John B. Sparks, 39, a resident of Albuquerque since 1981, passed away Saturday, March 21, 1998. He is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Jerod John Sparks and Jennifer Ann Sparks; parents, Donald and Elizabeth Smalley-Sparks; Allison Kozeliski and husband, Tom and children Kristin, Kelly, and Matthew of Gallup; Patsy Perkal and husband, Glenn and children, Bryan and Kathryn of Gallup; Scott Sparks and wife, Rhonda and children Brandon, Mariah and Craig of Tucumcari. John was born and raised in Gallup, NM, where he attended Cathedral School and graduated from Gallup High School in 1976. He was discharged from the United States Air Force in 1981. Mr. Sparks was currently working as a Licensed Plumber for Miller Bonded Company. He was an avid hunter and an out-doors-man. Mr. Sparks will be deeply missed by all who knew him Vigil will be held Tuesday, 7:30 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas NE. Thompson -- Orville E."Tommy" Thompson, 69, a resident of Bosque Farms, NM, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 1998. Tommy was a member of the Church of Christ of Bosque Farms. He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1972, after twenty-six years of outstanding service. He was a District Manager for Circle K for twelve years, retiring in 1984. Tommy belonged to the Mason Lodge in Portland, Oregon. He was preceded in death by two of his seven children, his daughter, Terry in 1974, and his son, Rodney in 1993; and four brothers, Newell, Albert, Junior and Wilbur. Tommy is survived by his wife of 51 years, Darlys, of the family home in Bosque Farms; children, Carolyn Stevens of Seattle, WA., Debra Bedient and husband, Michael of Phoenix, AZ., Tommy Jr. and wife, Kathy of Castle Rock, CO., Sheila McGlothlin and husband, Earl of Albuquerque, and Roxy Thompson of Phoenix, AZ. Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren; sisters, Esta Lee Gidlow and Bessie Riney, both of Carrolton, TX., Bernice Gower of Kalispell, MT., and Joyce Whitehead of Duncan, OK. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, at 10:00 A.M. at the Church of Christ in Bosque Farms. Wagner -- Ernest Felton Wagner passed away March 21, 1998. He was a 50 year resident of Albuquerque. Ernest was married on May 17, 1974. He is survived by wife, Elsie Wagner; 2 sons, John F.
