ADAMS, PAUL HENRY age 92, died November 16, 1914. His wife of 53 years, Harriet Withers Adams, proceeded him in death, as did his parents: John Amos Adams and Helen Belle Shields Adams. He is survived by his children: Amie Green of Roswell,NM, Paul H Adams Jr of Bloomfield, NM, Helen Wicker of Orlando, Fl , Meg Adams-Cameron of Albuquerque, NM, foster daughter Robin Mitchell and her 3 daughters, six grandchildren: Scott Adams, Stacie Boswell, Bryce Green, Julia, Michael, and Susanna Wicker, and two great-grandchildren. A service in remembrance of his life will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11:00a.m. the Jemez Springs Presbyterian Church, Hwy 4, Jemez Springs NM. EISENHOUR, DONALD RAY Donald Ray Eisenhour, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 18. He was born in Harrisburg, PA to Charles and Donna Eisenhour. They relocated to Albuquerque, where Donald grew up. He graduated from Sandia High School (1973) as a championship, undefeated wrestler, and then attended the University of New Mexico. He worked in advertising and owned his own sign company for several years. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Debi; and children Matthew and wife Lacey; daughter Michelle and husband, Chris; and daughter, Jessica. He was blessed with three grandchildren: Aidan, Colin, & Kiki. He leaves his mother Donna Eisenhour and siblings Steve, Leigh and Leslie, as well. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 25 at 11:00am at Shepherd of the Valley Presbyterian Church, 1801 Montano Rd. NW., Albuquerque, NM, with a reception following. Don was a wonderful, caring, creative person who's smile and humor made the world a better place. We will miss and love him until we see him again.

KINABREW, CLIFTON BURTON Clifton Burton Kinabrew - husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend - has died. Cliff became a saved Christian at an early age and loved the wonder of God's world. He met his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 19, 2014. Cliff, known to his family as "Chip," was born to Clifton David and Edith Kinabrew on December 15, 1931 in Liberty, MS. The first son of eight children, Cliff graduated from Liberty High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the Navy and served on the USS Joyce - a radar picket ship - for three and a half years. Upon leaving the military, he attended Central Tech Institute and received an Associate's of Service Degree in Electronics, Radio, and TV Technology. Following graduation, Cliff worked in the oil fields in Oklahoma as a roughneck. From there, he moved to New Mexico in the late 1950's and was employed with Sandia National Labs for 36 years working mostly in field tests, including at the WIPP, Nevada test site, fracking in Wyoming and measuring temperatures at Mt. St. Helen's, as well as many other projects. Cliff retired in 1993. During his retirement, Cliff enjoyed gardening and woodworking, which he shared with friends and family over the years. Cliff, along with several friends, formed the Young American Football League (YAFL). Cliff coached for many years and also served as president in the late 70's. Cliff was an avid Green Bay Packers fan until he met the love of his life, Sheila Daughton, and became a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan, through 42 years of marriage. Cliff is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Edith Kinabrew and brothers Clyde Kinabrew and Bobby Kinabrew. He is survived by three children from his first marriage, son Steve and wife, Diane, son Dale and wife, Cathy, and son Bruce and wife, Denise. Cliff is also survived by his brother, Kent Kinabrew, and wife, Christa, brother Donnie Kinabrew, and wife, Leila; his sister, Joyce Sandifer, and her husband, Wally (deceased); six step-children, Joe Thoma and wife, Mary, Nikki Waid and husband Ed, Rene Cronister, Peter Thoma, Celeste DiPaola and Rick DelReal, Gretchen Oswald, and husband, DeWayne, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. MARTINEZ, ROSEMARY age 85, died November 19, 2014 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is survived by her children, Veronica, and her husband, Phil Nevada, Kathy, and her partner, Heather, Joe, and his wife, Carisa, and Jack, and his wife, Cathy; Sandy Dietrich; her grandchildren, Jason, Michelle, Aaron, Justin, Tanya, Charles, Adam, Phillip and April and 10 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis, of 59 years; her son, Tim; and grandson, Mike. Rosemary was born on August 8, 1929 in Cokedale, CO to parents Max and Ursula Otero. A Rosary will be held for Rosemary on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University. Mass is scheduled for Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave. NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87110. SANCHEZ, RUDOLPH Age 84, an Atrisco Land Grant heir, passed away peacefully at home on November 22, 2014 in the loving arms of his beloved wife, children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Loretta, his parents Jose De La Luz and Mary Sanchez; his brothers Myron and Adelbert Sanchez and his sister Mary Alice Luna. He is survived by his sister Viola Martinez and brothers Lawrence and Gilbert Sanchez. He is also survived by wife Elma; sons, Randy Sanchez, wife Angela, Adam Sanchez, wife Clarese and daughters Mona Lisa Gonzales, husband Jerry, and Carmen Sanchez, fiance Don Colton; nine grandchildren: Cole Sanchez, Garrett Gonzales, Loretta Gonzales, Savanna Sanchez, Jordan Sanchez, Shayla Sanchez, Amber Sanchez, Courtney Sanchez, and Austin Sanchez. Rudy Sanchez served in the U.S Army, attained the rank of Corporal. During Rudy's early years he had a passion for baseball and played college baseball, American Legion and semi-pro baseball that attracted scouts from the Brooklyn Dodgers. Rudy attended St. Joseph College and Highland University with a Masters degree in Spanish and School Administration. Rudy retired from Albuquerque Public Schools with 32 years of service. He began his career as a coach at Barcelona Elementary and later taught Spanish to thousands of South Valley children at Harrison Junior High and Albuquerque High School. He was a favorite with students, often chosen as teacher of the year. Rudy and his wife were blessed with 57 years of marriage. A Rosary and Christian Burial Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 9:00AM at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW. An interment will take place following the Mass at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith NE and reception to follow at St. Anne's Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to the Atrisco Heritage Foundation. SMART, GLADYS BLACK passed away peacefully on November 20, 2014, at age 106, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born to Albert Franklin Black and June Adkins Black in rural Myra, West Virginia, on August 23, 1908, at the home of her paternal grandparents. Following her father's election as clerk of Lincoln County in 1914, the family moved from their country home to the county seat of Hamlin. Gladys, now seven, attended public schools for the first time, where her mother's home teaching led to her rapid advancement. She attended the new Carroll High School and graduated with honors. Gladys enrolled as a freshman at nearby Marshall College in Huntington, WV. But in March 1926, the family decided to move to Roswell, NM, hoping to improve her mother's declining health. Their stay in Roswell proved short because her parents wanted Gladys to continue her education in Albuquerque at UNM, then a small university with an excellent faculty. There Gladys was elected to Alpha Delta Pi, Sigma Alpha lota, and Mortarboard. She remained active with these groups after graduation in 1929 and served on the UNM Alumni Board for several years. After graduation, Gladys accepted a teaching position with APS at Longfellow School. A year later, she went to Bush Conservatory in Chicago for a music degree. Returning to Albuquerque, Gladys taught Music and English at Lincoln Junior High School before moving to Washington Junior High. When WWII began, Gladys started three years' service in the American Red Cross as Hospital Recreation Director at Fort Bliss, Biggs Field, Fort Leonard Wood, Camp Grant and Brooke Hospital in San Antonio. Once back home in Albuquerque, Gladys was appointed State Secretary for the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis. Traveling around New Mexico engendered her lifelong devotion to New Mexico, its people, scenery and history. Gladys also volunteered with the YMCA travel committee. Then she was persuaded by Charles Renfro, P.E. and Recreation Director, to return to APS to help establish a recreation program for the city schools. Through her acceptance of this offer, Gladys met Capt. Warren A. Smart, ROTC Director at Albuquerque High. They were married in March 1949. He was soon appointed to set up Valley High School as its first principal. In 1955 he died unexpectedly following surgery. Gladys considered her greatest asset to be her friends and family, her greatest joy traveling in New Mexico, and her greatest achievement raising, with the help of family and friends, three rewarding children, Sharon Smart Neuman (Dick), Warren Smart, and Kathy Smart Morgan (Bill). She is survived as well by four grandchildren, Owen Kellum, Sarah Rohde (Aaron), Emily Lamberson (Steve), and David Morgan as well as four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters Jan Black Roche and Alta Black Briscoe and by brothers Al Black and Ed Black. Services will be held Tuesday, November 25 at 11:00 a.m. at First Methodist Church, 314 Lead Ave. SW, with reception and burial to follow.
