AXNESS, HAROLD K. July 28, 1926 - May 4, 2014, lovingly known as the Jolly Green Giant by his family and friends, was born July 28, 1926 in Chicago, IL. He was the only son of Hans K. Axness and Gerta Carlson. Harold is survived by his son Carl Axness and Carl's wife Anna, their sons Louis, Bjorn and Marvin and daughter Marlene Trujillo; and his daughter Chris Hampton, and Chris's husband Darrell and daughter Tegan Matthews. Harold is also survived by wife June Axness, the love of his life for the past 45 years; and his stepchildren, Kevin Allen, Kerry Allen, Dan Allen, Lisa Allen Urrea, Molly Ashcraft, Cate Sabatini and Eve Reissman; their spouses and their combined ten children. Harold graduated from Northwestern University in Illinois with a degree in accounting and was a CPA. He moved to Albuquerque, N.M. in 1955 and excelled in running his accounting practice for over 50 years. Harold was a devoted fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears and he and his wife, a St. Louis cardinals fan, shared many years of friendly and spirited rivalry. But, together they did share their support of the NM Lobos. Harold was also a member of 4 Hills Country Club and had survived most of his golfing cronies. He and his wife loved to travel and enjoyed playing golf on spectacular courses across the country. Together they entertained, raised a large family, enjoyed cooking, gardening, and of course, green and red chili. He and his wife were well known for their posole parties. Harold was admired and loved by many and will be deeply missed. A Mass service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Our Lady of the Annunciation located at 2621 Vermont St. NE, Albuquerque, NM. Ennichment will be held at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 10:30 am.

BUKOWSKI, ROBERT J. Age 76, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2014. He was born in New York City, NY on May 30, 1937, to Theophil and Helene (Kwasney) Bukowski. He graduated from St. Francis Preparatory School and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from St. John's University of New York. He retired after many years of service from Lovelace Hospital as a purchasing agent. In his spare time, he loved to travel, gardening, rooting for the New York Giants and the New York Yankees, playing the stock markets and volunteering with the St. Vincent de Paul Society. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his father, Theophil Bukowski. Robert is survived by wife of 45 years, Jayne Bukowski, of Rio Rancho, NM; children, Joseph Bukowski, of Rio Rancho, NM, Laura Neuman and husband, Robert, of Arlington, VA, and Katherine Gorrasi and husband, Kevin, of Flower Mound, TX; grandchildren, Matthew, Brenna and Lauren Neuman; mother, Helene Bukowski, of Cortland, NY; siblings, Theodore Bukowski, Richard Bukowski, Maria Bukowski, and Theresa Guimond and husband, James; and many other relatives and friends. DAVID, DELORES ANN (KELLER) Age 80, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Roger; daughters Deanna Shaw-Becker and her husband, Bill, Amy Ruybal and her husband, Greg, Darla Gabaldon and her husband, Jude, and Joann Hall and her husband DuWayne; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous friends. Delores was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and her daughter, Donna. Delores was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who never met a stranger. One thing we all know - things are getting done in record time with that energetic lady's arrival in heaven! DOMME, KATHRYN MERCEDES known to her family and friends as Peachie, passed away on May 2, 2014 at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Domme; her parents, Thomas and Lillian Kennedy of Topeka, Kansas; and her daughter-in-law Susan Domme. Peachie is survived by her brother, Ret Gen Thomas Kennedy and wife Ruth; her sister Frances "Dollie" Petr; and by her five sons: Craig, Fr. Edward Domme, Dan and wife Colleen, Tom and wife Martha, and Jack and wife Karen; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Peachie was born in Emmett, Kansas on March 29, 1925. In 1940 her family moved to Topeka, Kansas where she grew up helping in the family grocery store. She graduated from Capital Catholic High School in 1942 and then attended Business College in Topeka. Peachie and Edward were married in 1946 in Topeka and the family moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1948. Together, they raised their five sons and created a full life surrounded by family and many close friends. Peachie and Ed were members of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish from its beginning in 1953 until the present. She was very active at Assumption Church and grade school and later at St. Pius X High School. In 1961 Peachie went to work at Sandia Savings and Loan and retired as an Executive Secretary. She then earned her Real Estate Broker's license and worked in Real Estate for many years with Hooten & Stahl Realtors. In the 1970's she owned her own Home Rental and Management Agency until retirement in 1979. Peachie enjoyed bowling, golf, and was well known for her bridge play. She is especially remembered for her loving care of her husband Ed during his long illness preceding his death. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday May 8, 2014 at 7:00 PM at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 811 Guaymas NE. Mass will be celebrated on Friday May 9, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society at Assumption Parish. DUNHAM, RICHARD REX "DICK" Age 82, of Albuquerque, NM, died on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at his home. Died of natural causes. Born in South Sioux, Nebraska, on July, 31, 1931. Dick was a C.L.U for New York Life Insurance Company for 25 years. His wife Mary Sheila Dunham past away in January 2006. Dick was surrounded by his six children Becki, Stewart, Laurie, Thomas, Tracy, Jeffery and several grandchildren. He has ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He was a great writer and story teller. He served his country in the US Air Force. He moved to NM. in 1951 and was stationed in Roswell, NM. In 1960 he moved his family to Albuquerque, in 1968 moved to Santa Fe and raised his family. Dick was truly loved by his children and will be missed. He was known as "Old Desert Dirt Rat". A memorial was held at his daughter's home surrounded by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Peggy Esquibel; children, Carol Klar and husband Jim, Danny Esquibel, and Gina Scott. He loved his "fuzzy rabbits" (grandchildren), Stephanie Melton and husband Jeramy, Eric Esquibel and wife Maggie, Scott Stokes and wife Jamie, Nicole Maez and Kris Krieg; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Zachary, Christina, Ethan, Sebastian, Nico, Loren, Jacob, Evan and Olivia; great-great- grandchildren, Zathena and Ezio; his sister, Fidelita Lucero; and many loved relatives, friends and neighbors. FLORES, RUTH MARIE age 59, a resident of Los Lunas, New Mexico, passed away on May 1, 2014. Baptized in the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, located in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque our mother, wife, daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, niece and friend has left this earth to be with our Lord and Savior. In her 59 years, Ruth touched the hearts and lives of many. Ruth's good spirits uplifted all whom she came in contact with. Ruth, a lady of small size, had a heart of enormous proportions. Helping anyone she could, Ruth was a caring and compassionate soul. Ruth was preceded in death by her mother, Mable Sanchez and father, Rudolfo Rivera; brother Conrado Sanchez; and daughter, Priscilla Flores. She is survived by her husband of over 30 years, Ralph Flores; her five children, Rudy, Randy, Reina and husband, Jacob, Renee, and Rachel; five grandchildren, Marcus, Gabriel, Athena, Mathew, and Emilio. She is also survived by many loved and loving nieces, nephews and her brother, Milly Sanchez and his wife, Chris. GARCIA, HENRY H. Henry H. Garcia, born April 14, 1923 in Santa Fe, lived in Albuquerque, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, May 2, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Frances. He is survived by his daughters: Alice (Pat), Carolyn, Judy (Rusty), Ellen (Leonard), Elizabeth, and Kathy; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; siblings: Romulo, Max, Bernie and Rosina (Bill); sister-in-law, Bea; brother-in-law, Donald; and many others in his extended family. Henry was a World War II veteran, and served his country from December 1942 to February 1946. He worked many years for Coca Cola Bottling Co. and retired from the State of New Mexico in Santa Fe. He was a devoted member of St. Jude Catholic Church until his death. GARRECHT, WIBKE DORETHA Wibke D. Garrecht was born September 17, 1944 in Giessen, Germany. She grew up on a farm and quickly developed a love for animals, especially pigs. She went to college in Germany and studied medicine. In 1965, she met her first husband, Larry Roybal, while he was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany. A few months after they met, they were married and moved back to the United States of America. Wibke gave birth to her only child, Beate Roybal, on October 11, 1966. Wibke Garrecht was a free spirit, and often did things on her own terms. She was always up to try new things and hardly ever turned down a good time. She understood that she was in charge of her own happiness and rarely had a frown on her face. She would leave a room by saying "Happy Days." Years after her first marriage, Wibke met the love of her life, Robert E. Garrecht. They were married on May 2, 1988. They spent the next 23 years enjoying life together. Traveling, whale watching, trying new foods, and golfing were the things they loved to do the most. Wibke (known as Maggie by her grandchildren) had a contagious smile and loved to her share her knowledge with the world. She spoke three languages, was a talented painter, and had a passion for music. She spent the last years of her life enjoying time with her family and traveling to Hillsboro, N.M. with her dear friends, Ted and Linda. She is survived by her brother, Eike Eifert; her niece, Annette Heil; her daughter, Beate Roybal; and her grandchildren, Celeste Estes, Ethan Estes, and Alex Garber. A celebration on her life will take place on Friday, May 9, 2014, 2:00 p.m., at FRENCH-University. JARAMILLO, HERMAN JOSEPH Age 78, went home to the Lord on Saturday, May 3, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mercy Jaramillo; son, Pete III; daughter, Michelle Romero and husband, Francisco; his granddaughter, Jacquiline Amaris; beloved sister, Maclovia Lovato; and beloved sister-in-law, Priscilla Holtry. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Carlotta; son, Herman; and daughter, Naomi. Herman retired from the Albuquerque Fire Department after 24 years of service. SEDILLO, MIGUEL 1918 - 2014 "Mike", age 95, born in Monticello, NM, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014, from natural causes. He resided in Tome, NM. Mike was the son of the late Teodolo and Cleotilde Najar Sedillo. He is survived by sister-in-law, Ruth Sedillo of New Mexico; six children, Felia Ayala and husband, Santos of Virginia, Corinne Koelsch and husband, Jerry of California, Gloria Curry of California, Mike Sedillo of New Mexico, Josie Wallingford and husband, Ben of Colorado, and Stacey Arellano and husband, Monroe of Arizona; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and close friend, Lori Cantrell of NM. He loved traveling, dancing, gardening, reading, story-telling, working with his hands, and he actively participated in local senior citizen centers. Often, he could be found playing horseshoes or billiards and could spend countless hours sharing stories with his family and friends. He is loved and will be truly missed. VINYARD, MICHAEL CLYDE age 59, a resident of Albuquerque was born on September 16, 1954 in Baton Rouge, LA. Michael passed away on May 4, 2014. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Tucker Vinyard and brother, James Vinyard. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Rena Vinyard; sons, Dale Jones, Paul Vinyard, Kenneth Vinyard; daughter, Margaret Diaz and husband, Jose; father, J.V. Vinyard and wife, Ruby; brother, Robert Vinyard and wife, Becky; grand daughter, Ava Diaz; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Michael was a devoted husband and father, and served his country proudly. He retired as a Major in the United States Air Force and was also employed with the Paralyzed Veterans of America, the State of New Mexico and Valencia County. Michael greatly enjoyed motorcycles, drag racing, computers, photography and traveling. WYNNE, SEMA Died at home on Saturday, May 3, 2014, in the early morning. She was 80. Born in Milwaukee, WI, she and her husband, Louis, lived in New Mexico since 1969. Sema had a Master's degree in Non-Profit Management and was Executive Director of the American Institute of Architects, New Mexico, and later Executive Director of the Santa Fe Area Home Builders Association. She is survived by her husband of 45 years; three children; three step children; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by one grand-child, Amanda Wynne. ZIELINSKI, DAVID LEONARD Age 44, passed away May 2, 2014 in Rio Rancho, NM. He was born March 24, 1970 in Chicago, IL and was the first born to Leonard Zielinski and Patricia Weibler. He graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He married Teal Marie Peck on July 24, 1999. He worked as a Quality Assurance Manager at Aspen Avionics. He was also a licensed real estate broker and owner of More 4 You Realty. David was a devoted husband and loving daddy to his four children. His life revolved around his family and friends. He touched many people's lives and will be greatly missed. David is survived by his wife, Teal; four children, Cameron, Graham, Alyssa and Bella; mother, Patricia Weibler; grandmother, Ann Zielinski; siblings, Gregory Zielinski and Ann Marie Schreiber; step-brother, Steven Schalk and step-sister, Danielle Schalk. Son-in-law to Robert and Diane Peck. Brother-in-law to Martin Schreiber, Robert and Victoria Peck. Uncle to Diana and Cameron Peck, and Cooper and Aiden Zielinski. He is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Zielinski.
