ARMIJO, LINDA WRIGHT Linda Wright-Armijo, age 61, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, & sister, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, December 17, 2013. She was born in Lubbock, TX on December 17, 1952, to the late Alton Wright and Opal James. Linda loved like no other. She didn't have much but everything she had she gave. She went without so others could have. To make others happy made her happy. Linda will be deeply missed. Linda is survived by her loving husband, Federico Armijo; her children, DeAnn Rios, Tonya Salazar, Tommy Salazar; step-children, Chris, Mayan, and Natalie Armijo; 12 grandchildren, Dominick, Denique, Deremy, Joseph, Angelo, Destiney, Gabriel, Izriel, Aaliyah, Ezekiel, Mia and Diego. Also surviving are two brothers, Randy Cory and Terry Wright; sister, Judy Neefe; numerous extended family and a host of friends. A Memorial Service will be conducted Thursday, December 26, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth St., NW, Albuquerque. LARKIN, PETER J. age 57, of 610 15th Street South, Wisconsin Rapids, WI died Saturday, December 21, 2013 at his residence. Funeral Services are 1:00 PM on Friday, December 27, 2013 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Rev. William Menzel will officiate. Visitation will be at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids on Friday from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM. Peter was born February 12, 1956 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Harold and Genevieve (McCarthy) Larkin. He married Mary H. Ogiela on November 11, 1990 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Peter worked in the construction business. Peter is survived by his wife, Mary; two sisters, Chris Larkin of Las Cruces, New Mexico Jane (Nick DeLipski) Larkin of Oregon and mother-in-law, Zdzislawa Ogiela of Chicago, IL. Peter was preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Genevieve Larkin and father-in-law, Wincenty. Memorials can be given to the "Toys for Tots" program.

OLGUIN, NINA "NAN" 1927 - 2013 Nina "Nan" Olguin, age 86, a resident of Belen, NM peacefully passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013. She was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Adelino Olguin; son, Sammy Olguin; parents, Vicente and Eulegia Gabaldon; and several brothers and sisters. Nina is survived by her loving children, Patty Powell and husband, Larry, Arthur Vigil and wife, Pauline, Debra Francis and husband, Steve and Anthony Olguin and wife, Judy; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brother, Fidel Gabaldon and wife, Lucy; sisters, Dubie Vigil and Rose Turrietta and husband, Luciano; sister-in-laws, Mary Garcia and husband, Gilbert and Corrine Gabaldon; brother-in-law, Ernest Olguin; and special friend, Tony Baca. SANTILLANES, JOSEPHINE M. Our "Christmas Angel", 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in White Oaks, NM on January 11, 1930 to Gregorio and Sofia (Mes) Montoya. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Santiago; Melisandro; and Nazareno; her sister, Jane; and her friend and father of her children, Joe. Josie is survived by her only sister, "Dobbie" Thurman; her devoted children, Irene Schneider and husband, David; Mary Jo Santillanes; Sophie Chavez and husband Frank; Mona Torres and husband, Max; and Jay Santillanes and wife, Matejka. Josie will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Andre and wife, Stephanie; Johnny and wife, Trisha; Randy and wife, Patty; Frankie; Christie; Max III and wife, Lydia; Melynda and husband, Matthew; Kimberly and husband, John; and Joseph; and many great and great great grandchildren. The Rosary will be recited on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at 7:00 pm at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real , Socorro. The Memorial Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 9:00 am also at San Miguel Catholic Church with Father Andrew Pavlak as celebrant. TOOHEY, MARCELLA M. Age 101, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, died Sunday, December 22, 2013, peacefully in her sleep at Brookdale at Valencia Assisted Living, where she had resided for the past three and a half years. For the last several days, her son and friends were at her side supporting her in prayer and with their presence. Marcella was born July 2, 1912, in the small rural town of Cedar Rapids, NE, where she attended St. Anthony's Church, grade, and high school, and where she was also married. She lived most of her married life in Rapid City, SD, and two years after retirement at age 72, she moved to Albuquerque in 1984. She is survived by her son, Jim and wife, Marva Toohey of Chagrin Falls, OH; daughter in law, Bennita Toohey, of Albuquerque; five grandchildren, Tim Toohey of Albuquerque, Kevin and his wife, Mitzi Toohey of San Antonio, TX, Colleen and her husband, Duane Redelsheimer, Peggy and her husband, Kurt Creason, all of Overland Park, KS and Jeff Toohey of Lawrence, KS. Marcella was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. Toohey, Rapid City, SD; her son, Michael J. Toohey Jr. of Albuquerque; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Schueth; her five sisters, Stella, Evelyn, Cora, Lucille, Elinor; her brother, Victor and a granddaughter, Laura. Marcella enjoyed her family and life in Rapid City and as a parishioner of Rapid City Cathedral. She always appreciated the people and the beauty of the Black Hills. Over her years in Rapid City, she was employed with Wambsley Interior Decorators and Stone's Upholstery. Her retirement years in Albuquerque centered around her church, Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, her family, friends and especially her bridge group of almost 30 years. She often said when others inquired about her, "I love my Albuquerque friends and my life". Her friends, family and recent acquaintances always said "She was special in her humility and an inspiration". The Memorial Rosary will be recited on Thursday, December 26, 2013, 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. The Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, December 27, 2013, 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church on Lomas and Tennessee in Albuquerque, with Father Edward Domme, Celebrant. Private family interment we be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Rapid City, SD, next to her husband of 43 years, who died in 1973. In lieu of flowers, Marcella suggested that memorial contributions be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society for the Poor, at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 811 Guaymas Pl.
