GONZALES, HAROLD Age 73, passed away Monday, November 25, 2013 surrounded by family, after a long illness. Harold is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jimmie; daughter, Amanda Skarsgard and husband, Erik of Las Cruces, NM; son, Christopher Gonzales; grandchildren, Shelby and Austin Skarsgard; sisters, Mabel Hendrickson and husband, Ray and Angie Soto and husband, Sam; brother, Felix Gonzales; and numerous other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jovan and Sylvia Gonzales; brothers, Al and L.J. Gonzales; and sisters-in-law, Gloria Gonzales and Juin Baum. Harold served with the Air National Guard in Korea during the Vietnam War and retired from the United States Postal Service in 1996. He then continued to sell real estate. Harold loved golf, hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He was a truly devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather ("Papa G"). The family wishes to thank the superb nursing and tech staff at UNMH. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, December 4, 2013, 7:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, December 5, 2013, 8:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Annunciation Parish, 2621 Vermont NE. NAVARRETE, ANSENCION BELTRAN Born May 28, 1924, passed away November 23, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife Emma and daughter Rosemary. He is survived by his sons Hector and wife Linda, Daniel and Jerry; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The Rosary will be at 6:00 p.m., Monday, December 2, 2013 at Queen of Heaven Church, 5311 Phoenix NE. Mass will be on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Arrangements by Riverside Funeral Home.

ROMERO, GARY A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, November 27th, 2013. Gary was preceded in death by his mother Helen Rose Romero and father Eddie Romero. He is survived by his sister Kathy and husband Jim; brother Ron and wife Sandra; niece Amber and many cousins. Gary was a people person, always giving with a huge heart and always loving. He loved the outdoors and loved his music. He will be so missed by his family and many, many wonderful friends. Our many thanks to the family and friends who stood by him through the last months of his life. He made us all very proud. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday, December 4th, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church. Celebration Mass on Thursday, December 5th, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. Reception to follow. VAN DOREN, DEAN CLAYTON SENIOR Lifelong Albuquerque resident Dean Clayton Van Doren Sr. passed away Monday the 25th of natural causes at the age of 74 at the VA Hospital. He is survived by his long time companion Linda Riel; his sons Dean Clayton Vandoren II and fiance LaVonne Cockrell, Stephen Carl Van Doren, Michael Jesse Lewis and wife Evija; and daughter Denise Van Doren. Also survived by grandchildren Stephanie Marie Soto, Kiley Miskimons, Dante Lorenzo Van Doren, Elija Marie Lewis and Kaela Michelle Lewis. Dean was a retired Teamster and President of the Tin Lizzies of Albuquerque Model T Club and long-time league bowler at Leisure Bowl. The family would like to invite you to join them in celebrating his life and times on Tuesday, December 3rd at 2:00 p.m. at the Solo Club, 2500 Candelaria N.E., Albuquerque, NM.
