ANDERSON, MORLEY "MOE" ROBERT September 16, 1961 -May 30, 2013 Mo was the youngest of three children born to Robert and Elisabeth Anderson. A scamp from birth, he was a big-hearted and loving man who never met a stranger. Anyone who knew him would attest to his great and true value as a husband, father, son, brother and friend. Morley was a physical therapist who devoted his life to helping others and he was happiest when doing so--in all aspects of his life. In his free time, he was renewed by Mother Nature. An avid explorer and a skilled and respectful hunter and fisherman, Morley's spirit was lifted when he was in the mountains. His goodwill, his booming laugh and his campfire meals will be all missed. Morley is survived by his loving partner Denise Anderson; sons Armando and Travis; his brother John Anderson (Diane, daughters: Isabel & Milena); sisters Lynn Anderson (Kelly, daughter: Annie) and Becky Gallardo (Jason, son: Matthew); many nieces, nephews and great nephews; aunt Paula Williams; uncles Paul and John Haynes; numerous cousins and many, many important friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday evening, July 13, 2013 at a location to be announced later.

ARMSTRONG, RONALD RAY a resident of Los Lunas, New Mexico, passed away suddenly on June 4, 2013. Ron was born in Fort Hood, Texas on March 26, 1951 and attended Harper High School, Harper, TX. After Ron graduated in 1969 he enlisted in the Army Reserves and also began college at, then, Southwest Texas State University. After college graduation in 1974, he became a police officer in San Marcos, Texas. Ron entered the Air Force as an active duty officer in 1978. His assignments took him to Andrews AFB, Maryland; Scott AFB, Illinois; Rhein-Main AB, Germany; FE Warren AFB, Wyoming; and Kirtland AFB, New Mexico. In between his assignments Ron attended Sacramento State University to obtain his master's degree and he had many temporary duties and deployments. Ron retired from active duty in December 2002 with over 30 years of military service. Ron's service to his country continued for nearly ten more years in the civilian ranks as a Security Specialist with the Air Force Research Lab. Anyone who knew Ron knew that golf was his passion. He regularly golfed Saturday mornings at Kirtland AFB for over 12 years with the "Safety Center" group where he had dozens of friends. He also loved playing softball and continued even into his 60's when he and his wife played coed softball with numerous friends in Albuquerque. Ron's latest adventures involved RVing and he loved to drive it during travels or just to the UNM football games for tailgates with friends. Ron and his wife had just finished a vacation combining two of his favorite things - RVing and golf - just before his passing. Ron passed his love of sport on to his three sons and he always ended conversations with his daughter with the line "Oh, and guess what else?", and she would reply, "You love me." He is survived by his wife, Laura; brother Mike; son Ray (fiancee Brittany); son Steven (wife Stephanie); daughter Tara (husband Paul); and son Scott (wife Andrea). Ron adored his three grandchildren Tommie, Ian, and Mackenzie, all precious and beautiful and never far from his thoughts. He will be sorely missed by the many people who loved and knew him. A Memorial Service was held on June 7th at Kirtland Air Force Base. Ron was interred in Fredericksburg, Texas on June 10th near his parents James and Helen. The family greatly appreciates the many thoughts, prayers, and condolences and wishes to thank everyone who has selflessly stepped forward to help them during their loss. Many thanks to the members of Ron's KAFB family for all they have provided.
