BENAVIDEZ, ALBERTO We would like to thank our relatives, friends and neighbors for their prayers, cards of sympathy, beautiful flowers and planters and the memorial contributions in honor of our dear husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, Alberto Benavidez. BERMAN, JOAN R SAKS DR. Joan Berman, age 72, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Friday, May 17, 2013. She is survived by her nephew, Ricky (Beth) Jacobson; her grandniece, Emma Jacobson; her grandnephew, Eli Jacobson; her cousin, Gail Glickman; and many other beloved cousins, family and friends. Dr. Berman was preceded in death by her parents, David and Esther Saks; and her sister, Paula Saks-Zellhofer. Joan was very active in her community, politics, culture, and the arts: as a first responder for the Red Cross, a practicing psychologist, a published author, and a featured artist in Madrid, NM. BLOOM, JON RICHARD died unexpectedly on May 9, 2013 at the age of 46 while visiting his mother in Detroit Lakes, MN. Jon was born on April 28, 1967 in Detroit Lakes, MN, the son of William and J Joanne Bloom. Jon is survived by his mother J Jonanne; six brothers Robert (Ione), Philip (Nancy), Greg, David (Susanne), Jeff, Jim (Allison); one sister Jennifer (Jeff); and his loving dog Pinky. Jon was a kind, compassionate and caring son, brother, uncle, great-uncle, nephew and friend. He was a jack of all trades from building bridges with his father to remodeling homes. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be announced at a later date in Albuquerque, NM, and a private memorial service for the family will be held in Detroit Lakes, MN later this summer. BUSTAMANTE, JOSE "DORO" DOLORES 1945-2013 Age 67, a resident of Belen, NM passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Starting out of high school Joe became a very skilled tinsmith. He took pride working in Los Alamos for 18 years, in Farmington at the power plant where he raised his three boys. He also worked for Sisneros Bros Mfg. for 10 years. Joe ended his career retiring from Romero Heating and Cooling after 10 years of outstanding service. He was always doing things for people, he felt bad if you had nothing for him to work on. Joe always helped family and friends. Other than working in his skilled profession and helping others he enjoyed spending time at the casino. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy Bustamante; parents, Jose Antonio and Adela Castillo Bustamante; brothers, Manuel and Leo Bustamante; and brother-in-law, Porfirio Chavira. Joe is survived by his three sons, Joseph, Michael and wife, Corina, and Thomas and wife, Sarah; seven grandchildren, Georgina, Kai, Kirk, Stephen, Hayden, Jacob, and Dominic; brothers, George and wife, Linda Bustamante, Ruben and wife, Yolanda Sanchez, Gene and wife, Helen Bustamante, Raymond and wife, Kathy Bustamante; and sisters, Sarah Chavira, Ernestina and husband, Eliseo Sisneros, Rosie and husband, Abenicio Sisneros, Josie Garcia, and Teresa and husband, Tom Maupin. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Joe will be dearly missed by all especially by his very close sister, Josie Garcia. BUTLER, ELIZABETH ANNE Beth, age 59, of Albuquerque, passed away on Sunday, May 12th, at her home after a brief battle with cancer. She is survived by husband, Charles (Chuck); her mother, Mary Getchell; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Karin, and their children Connor and Elora; and brothers, Stephen, Matthew, and Luke Getchell. A graduate of Whitesboro High School in NY state and long-time resident of Remsen, NY, Beth moved to NM to help care for her grandchildren in 2001. She nurtured children throughout her life and, in recent years, became a preschool teacher. She loved to read, observe nature, and, most of all, spend time with family and friends. She will be deeply missed. A memorial wake will be held at her son's home on Sunday, May 26th from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. The wake is open to family and friends. COVELL, LA JUAN Age 79 of Corrales, went home to our Lord on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. She was born in Coleman County, TX. In 1956, La Juan married the love of her life, Air Force Lt. James Covell. The couple had three children, James, Mark and Connie. La Juan is survived by her wonderful husband; three loving siblings; her three happily-married children; and seven awesome grandchildren. La Juan was a committed follower of Jesus and is now dancing in heaven. CRUCE, DOROTHY MABEL Born in Manhattan, NY on November 15, 1922 and passed away in her sleep on April 19, 2013, where she resided in Rio Rancho, NM. She was preceded in death by both her husbands, Bernard Millmore and Claude Cruce; daughter Robin; and two grandsons. She is survived by two sons, Douglas P. Millmore and Roy A. Millmore; two daughters Judith Wilkins and Andrea Bailey. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; & three great-great-grandchildren. Dorothy enjoyed reading, making ceramics, growing flowers and many other interests. She loved animals and especially her yorkie, Lucy. DANZ, GILBERT ORDONIO JR. Age 56 passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Born in Detroit Michigan on December 6, 1956, Gilbert had a magnetic personality and a dazzling smile. Gil never met a stranger and was always one to enjoy the moments of life. Gil had a 30 year career as a Structural Iron Worker and was a member of the Local Union 25 in Detroit Michigan until his retirement in September 2004. Gil spent the last seven years working for Harley Davidson, first in Bradenton, Florida and lastly in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Gil was the Director of the Sangre de Cristo Chapter of the Harley's Owner's Group. Gil's passion was motorcycles and his wife Patricia. He bought his first motorcycle at the age of 17. Gil and Pat were married on June 26, 2004 at sunset, barefoot and on a white sand beach in Florida. Gil was a loving husband, an avid reader and gardener. Gil and Pat made their home in Santa Fe in the fall of 2007, where they enjoyed their lives together. Gilbert Ordonio Danz Jr. was preceded in death by his eldest son Gilbert Ordonio Danz III (his wife Danielle Danz and their three children presently reside in Michigan). He survived by his one remaining son Giles Danz; Gil is also survived by his half brother, Jack Malaino and his wife Norma. Gil leaves behind his four beloved adopted cats ranging in age from 1 year to 16 years old, Isabelle, Quincy, Jack and Hendrix. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Santa Fe Harley Davidson Dealership, 4360 Rodeo Road on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 3:00 pm. Steve Stucker, a family friend, will preside over the memorial followed by a barbeque in the parking lot at the Dealership at Gil's Grill. DUNHAM, JEAN ANN SMITH Age 83, passed away May 16, 2013, at Lovelace Hospice Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jean Ann was born January 12, 1930 in Caryville, Tennessee to Bernice Baird Smith and Garrett Hobart Smith. She was the oldest of four daughters born to the Smiths. She was a graduate of Jacksboro High and the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She also completed some graduate work at Northern Colorado University. She taught at Jellico High in Tennessee, Appalachian State university in Boone, North Carolina and Berrian Springs High School in Michigan. On August 25, 1954 she married Willis Clinton Dunham at the First Baptist Church in Jacksboro, Tennessee. They made their home in Niles, Michigan for the next 52 years. To this union were born two children, Marnice Ann and Willis Clinton Jr. Jean Ann and Will were among the founders of Bethel Baptist Church in Niles. Jean Ann was very active in church and served as the pianist and organist. She also taught Sunday school classes, lead GA's, and Woman Missionary Union groups. She also served on district and state levels for WMU and served as president for the state of Michigan for several years. She was honored as a 50 year state member. She also taught English as a second language to many and was much loved by her students. She also helped establish a children's retreat at Bambi Lake and was a strong supporter of Hispanic missionary work. Her husband, his parents, her parents, and her younger sister Judith Bernice Eubank, preceded her in death. She is survived by two children, Marnice Clark and Willis Clinton Dunham Jr., both of Albuquerque; four granddaughters, Molly Clark and her partner Jamie Skinner, Hannah Donoso Clark and her husband Fernando Donoso, all of Albuquerque, Kelsie Louise Dunham and Kinsie Jean Dunham of Dallas, Texas. She had one great-granddaughter, Story Ann Rael. She is also survived by two sisters, Betty Sue Myers of Jefferson City, MO and Dr. Barbara Thompson of Kansas City, MO. Manny loving nephews and nieces also survive. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, May 21 at 10 a.m. prior to her funeral celebration at 11 a.m. at Del Norte Baptist Church where she has been a member since moving to New Mexico. ENTLEY, DORCAS L. Age 90, a resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, May 2, 2013. She is survived by her sister Ann Hackett of Tucson, AZ; nephews, Jeffrey Beard, of St Augustine, FL and Gregory Beard of Jacksonville, FL; step-granddaughter, Roberta Gabaldon, of Anthony, NM; close friend and dance partner, Chip Hindi, of Albuquerque, NM; and many other friends. Ms. Entley was preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Margaret Shank and her sisters, Ann, Lois, and Margaret. She worked on radio equipment during WW II and worked for Sandia National Labs as an electronics technician before retiring. She was also a proud member of the Albuquerque Chapter of the National Federation of Republican Women. She worked her way up within this organization through hard work and devotion to become a state officer and later was named Regional Director, which in essence made her a national officer. KOCINA, MARY CECELIA Age 105, passed away peacefully in her sleep Thursday, May 16, 2013. She was born on October 10, 1907, to Anton and Mary Bruckner in Colon, NE. Mary was the second eldest of six children. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Kocina, in Colorado Springs, CO; brothers, Adolph and Louis; sisters, Sophye McKinney and Dorothy Thege. She is survived by her sister, Adeline Ludi of Wahoo, NE; nieces, Nancy Gilmore and Judy Tully of Rio Rancho, NM; numerous nieces and nephews of several generations. Mary was loved by all who knew her as a caring and witty personality. She lived independently until she was 100 years old and celebrated that milestone with many friends from near and far. She celebrated her 105th birthday last October, 2012, surrounded by her friends and caregivers at St. Theresa Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Albuquerque, NM. An especially arranged visit by television weatherman, Steve Stucker, was the highlight of the celebration. Mary told him, "I know you...I watch you everyday on TV." And she said later, "That was the best birthday I've ever had." LUCKY, PHYLLIS LEE Age 81, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013. She was born in New Castle, Indiana on July 14, 1931 and raised in Albuquerque, NM. Phyllis went to UNM and received a bachelors degree in Fine Arts and Dramatic Arts in 1954 and is a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She traveled around the country with theater groups as a director of live performances and worked for Delta Airlines, she retired as a Trust Officer from Wells Fargo. She has been a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church for 53 years. Phyllis is survived by her loving husband, Ernest Lucky of 56 years; children, Mike and wife Sue, Kathy and husband Richard, Pat, Danny, Rick and wife Kim, Margaret and husband Andre, Christy, Elizabeth and husband Brett; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a sister, Nancy and husband Senator Pete Domenici. MARTINO, JOHN A. A native of New Mexico, was born in Albuquerque on April 4, 1925. He was the son of Chris and Margret Martino. John is survived by wife of 66 years, Maria Herlinda Martino; his brother, Chris; son, John; daughter, Diana Quinn; and four grandchildren, Donna Hayman, Ryan Quinn, Daniel Quinn, and Michael Martino. John was a graduate of Albuquerque High. He joined the U.S. Navy during World War II and served on the destroyer U.S.S. South Dakota as Master Bugler. After the war he returned to Albuquerque, and attended the University of New Mexico. He met and married the love of his life, Maria Herlinda Diaz. He spent his business life in the Milk Industry, starting with Creamland Dairies as a home delivery man, and retired as General Manager at Borden's Dairies. Because of John's generous nature, he was able to provide financial assistance to various charitable organizations through his tireless efforts in directing the annual Albuquerque Ice Cream Social. He had many interests and personal achievements included earning his pilot's license for small aircraft to facilitate his business trips. He was also an accomplished outdoorsman with a passion for fly fishing and hunting. He was an avid Lobo Basketball fan. After his retirement he pursued a life-long dream by enrolling in art classes. His paintings, pastels and oils grace many New Mexico homes. He devoted ten years studying and painting religious icons. He was deeply committed to his faith. John's office may have been in Albuquerque, but his expertise was sought across the United States as well as in Mexico. He was an honorable businessman, which earned him the trust and respect of his associates. His gentle smile will be missed by all who knew and loved him. MAY, CYNTHIA XENELLE Died on 16 May 2013. Cynthia was born 19 January 1936, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, to E.X. and Marie (Ames) Burns, who have preceded her in death. She was the oldest of three children. Cynthia's father was a civil engineer, and the family lived in several different cities in Oklahoma, as well as Amarillo, Texas, where she graduated from high school. In 1956, Cynthia followed her parents to Albuquerque. Cynthia's work years included 15 years in the broadcasting/advertising field, 26 years as a civil service employee for the United States Air Force, and several years at Valley Christian Church. In 1958, Cynthia married Floyd Spires, and they had two daughters. He died in 1966. In 1974, she married Edward May, and they combined her two daughters and his daughter and son into one family. Even though they had no children of their own, they happily shared their nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Cynthia's hobby was genealogy, and she enjoyed planning family reunions and compiling genealogies on the Ames, Shreck, Burns, Spires, May, and Page families. She was a member of the New Mexico Genealogical Society. Cynthia was a charter member of Valley Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, Edward May; her daughters, Bethamy and her husband Randall Barringer, Mary Jane and her husband Donald Wetterman; Ed's daughter and son, Angela Dunn and Edward May II. In addition to their grandchildren, she will be missed by many cousins and her sister, Helen Griffith and brother Rex Burns. MILLOY, SUSAN FEDERER Age 76, a resident of Albuquerque since 1963, passed away on March 22, 2013. She is survived by her husband, John, to whom she was married for 47 years. Susan was preceded in death by father, Leo J. Federer and mother Helen (Oscar) Federer. She was born in Madison, WI and moved with her family to Waukesha, WI at an early age. Her father was a prominent attorney whose firm was located in Milwaukee, WI. She graduated from Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha and Mount Mary College in Milwaukee. She was a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and was awarded a Master of Science degree in Biology. Susan taught biology at Rufus King High School in Milwaukee and at Highland High School in Albuquerque. She held the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at the University of Wisconsin Parkside Campus in Racine, WI. Her love of biological science led to her hobby of gardening and to a twenty year reforestation project at her property in Washburn, WI. The cabin in Washburn was always adorned with flowers of all kinds, a very productive vegetable garden, and trips to the local orchards to pick apples and berries. She was always surrounded by pets including goldfish, turtles, chipmunks, cats, and Rottweilers. Her love and concern for animals of all sizes made her an active patron of numerous animal humane associations and shelters. MOORE, JAMES P. REVEREND A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM, was called home by his heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. He was born in Albuquerque on November 21, 1928, to Mary Ellen and Otis Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, William, Thomas, Robert, Terry and his sister, Mary Elizabeth. Reverend Moore was the youngest of the family, who were all Albuquerque natives. He was a Navy Veteran, serving his country for two years in World War II. Reverend Moore later attended the University of New Mexico, receiving degrees in education. He worked in the Albuquerque Public Schools for more than three decades, 17 years as a teacher and 15 years in administration as a library-media specialist, and then as the District Director of Library Media Services. In 1966, he received a federal grant to study for three months at the University of Cairo in Egypt. Six years later, Reverend Moore was awarded a Fulbright Grant to study at the University of Delhi in India. Subsequently, he received funding from the West German government for a two month study of that nation's instructional television system. In 1983, he received another Fulbright Grant to study in the People's Republic of China. In 1986, Reverend Moore left Albuquerque to attend Mater Dei Seminary for Late Vocations in Spokane, WA, where he received a Master's Degree in Spirituality. He served as deacon at Albuquerque's Immaculate Conception for ten years, before he was ordained a Priest, by then Archbishop of Santa Fe, Robert Sanchez, in services at St. Francis Cathedral in Santa Fe. Reverend Moore also served on the Archdiocese's Board of Education for six years, on the Board of Catholic Social Services for two years and on the Deacon Board of the Archdiocese for two years. Once ordained as a priest, Reverend Moore served at St. Bernadette's as an assistant pastor and was then assigned as Pastor at Sacred Heart Parish in Albuquerque, which was his last assignment. He was responsible for attaining the steel beams from the Twin Towers terrorist attack in New York City on 9/11, which supports the church's bell. Upon his retirement, Reverend Moore assisted all parishes within the diocese, frequently helping them with masses and penance services. He was a frequent guest priest at St. Charles, St. Francis, Holy Family, St. Ann's, Our Lady of Sorrows in Bernalillo and San Jose Mission in Algodones. He enjoyed helping out his brother priests in every capacity, he had a special love for San Jose Mission in Algodones, where the parish members welcomed him with love and special care. He is survived by his loving nephews and nieces, Robert Moore and his wife, Helen, and their family; his niece, Deborah Jones, her husband, John, and their family; his nephew, Joe Gross and his family; and many other loving nieces and nephews. Reverend Moore is also survived by many loving Priests, Deacons, Sisters and Brothers in Christ, along with many dear friends, including Curtis Mark and Tomas Luna. Reverend Moore would have celebrated his 25th Anniversary of Ordination into the Priesthood on June 25th. All of Reverend Moore's services will be held at Sacred Heart Parish in Albuquerque at 309 Stover, downtown. A Rosary will be recited Monday, May 20, 2013, 7:00 p.m., at Sacred Heart Parish, 309 Stover Ave. SW, with Reverend Tim Martinez (former Chancellor) presiding. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 21, 2013, 10:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Parish, with Reverend John Thomas Lane SSS of the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament, Highland Heights (Cleveland), Ohio, presiding. MORSE, VINITA (85), passed away April 22 at a Rio Rancho nursing home. She was born in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, on December 21, 1927, to John and Lillian Denney and graduated from high school in Chase, Kansas, as the valedictorian. She married Robert Morse there on June 6, 1946, and then lived in Chase, Santa Fe, Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, New Mexico, and a few years in Trinidad, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her elder sister Virginia during World War II, two sons, Larry and Tim, in the early 1970's, her brothers Doug and Doyle in April 2013, and former husband Bob Morse. Vinita was an active bowler, a 40 year member of Compassionate Friends and a long time employee of the US Forest Service from which she retired in 2007. She is survived by her son, Dr. Jerry Morse and wife Dr. Sylvia Mendez-Morse of Lubbock, Texas, and a dear group of former co-workers and friends. Cremation has taken place, with a memorial to be held in mid July in Albuquerque.

SHEA, WILLIAM P. "Bill" was born October 13, 1925 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was raised by parents, Thomas and Julia Shea in Salina, Kansas. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; his parents; his brother, Thomas Jr, and his son, John. He graduated with honors at Sacred Heart High School in Salina, KS in 1943. Shortly afterwards was called into the Navy where he was in the submarine service in the Pacific Theater and was aboard the POGY SS266. He graduated from Kansas State University in 1950 with a degree in Electrical Engineering and while in school, Bill joined a Navel Air Squadron VF884 as a "weekend warrior." The Squadron consisted of carrier based F4U Corsairs and was activated the first day the President authorized it. His squadron was attached to the carrier USS Boxer and patrolled off the Korean coast. After the war he joined Wilson and Co. Architects and Engineers in Salina, KS and worked there for 15 years. Then for the next 25 years he worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and was stationed in Albuquerque, NM, Omaha, NE, Frankfurt, Germany and Dallas, TX. In 1953 Bill married Nancy A. Fuller in Salina, KS. Their family grew to three boys and three girls. Bill is survived by his daughters, Michelle and husband, John Melvin , Julia and husband, John Harlan, Kimberly and husband, Chuck Willis; sons, Kevin Shea, Mark Shea and his wife, Lynn; 11 grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren and many other family and friends. After 55 years of marriage, Nancy died August 17, 2008 and left Bill with many fond memories of their life together including the joys and problems of raising a family, the cruises to foreign places, the plays and operas, the European tour and the get-togethers with friends. Now they are together again. A Memorial Rosary will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2013, 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH Lomas. STANSBERRY, MITTIE ELIZABETH Age 90, resident of Albuquerque, left us May 15, 2013 to join the "love of her life, Tom". She was born in Little Rock, AR on February 26, 1923. Liz, Bettye, Mittie or Ma, whatever name you knew her by, worked many years as a cashier at Safeway and the commissary at Kirtland. After retirement she enjoyed traveling, working in her yard and visiting with her many friends and family. After an illness last November, she and her faithful friend Snoopy, moved to The Village at Alameda where she made even more friends. She was loved by many and loved many. She was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Mittie Porter, husband Thomas, son Jack and brothers Bob, Eddie and Jim Porter. STEADMAN, FREDIE LEE Faced with a terminal illness, Fredie Lee Steadman, age 68, of Albuquerque, NM, was quietly released into eternity on Monday, May 6, 2013. A graduate of Albuquerque High School and Air Force veteran, Fredie worked as an electrician. His parents, Fred and Goldie Steadman, and first wife, Emma (Steadman) Turk preceded him in death. Fredie Lee Steadman is survived by his spouse, Catherine Steadman of Albuquerque, NM; four children: Tona Marie Steadman of Fayetteville, NC, Craig Steadman of Albuquerque, NM, Fredric Robert Lee Steadman of Denver, CO and Ryan Michael Steadman of Albuquerque, NM; two siblings and their spouses, Richard (Josephine) Steadman and Victoria (Bradley) Crosby of Albuquerque, NM; companion and care-giver, Linda Thompson, of Denver, CO; fifteen grandchildren; eleven great- grandchildren; and a very large and loving extended family. THOMAS CAROL CHRISTENSEN passed away on May 7, 2013. Carol was born in Vallejo, CA on January 13, 1943. Carol loved her California roots. She graduated from Palo Alto High School in Palo Alto, CA, where she was a proud Pom-pom girl. She came to Albuquerque with a group of six other women from California to attend UNM. They were proudly known as the "California Girls". Carol pledged Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and worked with the UNM Cheerleaders when they got their start. It was at UNM where Carol met the love of her life, Frank Thomas, III. She had been known to say that it was "love at first sight." After marrying, Frank and Carol moved to Long Beach, CA, where Carol received her Bachelor's Degree from Long Beach State University. After several years in California, Frank and Carol moved back to Albuquerque and called it home for over 45 years. Carol was very involved in many activities. She remained a member in good standing with the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She held many offices in the alumna group and worked closely with the collegiate chapter at UNM. Carol was also very involved in the Junior League of Albuquerque. She was once a Jr. League Follies Star Dancer. She remained a sustaining member until the time of her death. Carol was also very involved in the Ronald McDonald House in Albuquerque. She was the Finance Chairman while the Ronald McDonald House was being built in Albuquerque. It was a cause that remained near and dear to her heart. Carol was also a member of the Thursday Literary Club. Carol and her husband, Frank Thomas, III, were married for 50 years. She is survived by her son, Frank Thomas, IV who resides in Malibu, CA, with his wife Lisa and their children Frank, V, Timmy, and Alexis. She is also survived by her son Michael Thomas, who resides in Perrysburg, OH, with his wife Amy and their son Taylor. Carol is also survived by two brothers and three sisters who reside in California, and many special friends. She will be greatly missed. A memorial will be held at a later date on 17 Mile Drive in California where her ashes will be sent into the great blue Pacific. THORNELL, REGINA GANDERT Regina went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 after a long illness. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Regina was preceded in death by her parents, John and Matilda Gandert; and her son, Burt Sandoval; her husbands, Harry Sandoval and Lawrence Thornell; brother, John Gandert; and sisters, Annie Melendez, Rose Ruebsamen, and Mary McWilliams. WALSTON, JO-ANNE Age 84, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, May 12, 2013. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ken; children: Angela Walston Danessi of Denver, CO; Ken Jr. and wife Koren of Albuquerque, NM; John and partner Sierra of Albuquerque, NM, Brad of Denver, CO; one grandson, Xavier; and many other family and friends. Jo-Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Elsie Rayburn, and her brother John. Jo-Anne was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir for many years. She enjoyed extensive travel with her husband and because of Ken's work, they lived overseas in the Netherlands, United Kingdom and Aruba. She was an active member of Al-Anon, loved music and movies, and enjoyed spending time with her many friends around the world. Jo-Anne was a devoted wife and mother and will be dearly missed.
