ALLEN -- EULA "LOUISE" Age 88, of Edgewood, New Mexico passed away at her home on Saturday, June 23, 2012. Louise was born May 26, 1924 in Wright City, Oklahoma to William Ted Springfield and Dora Lee Holmes. Louise has lived in Edgewood, NM since 1972 having previously lived in Albuquerque, NM. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Moriarty. She married Charles Neal Allen May 26, 1942 in Oklahoma, he preceded her in death on August 2, 2005. Louise was a seamstress and drapery maker. She was a member of the Over the Mountain Quilters Guild and the Friends of the Library Quilting Club. Louise was preceded in death by her parents; grandmother, Mada Springfield who was a big part of her life; brothers, Leroy Springfield and Tommy Springfield; sister, Linda Reed and great-granddaughter, Kourtney Hill. She is survived by her daughter, Sherry L. Dann; son, Harold N. Allen and his wife, Michaela; daughter, Judy A. Presley and husband, Glynn; sister, Evelyn Allen; brother, Ted Springfield, Jr.; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 4:00PM to 5:00PM at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM. The Funeral Service will follow the viewing at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM at 5:00PM with Pastor Tom Schank officiating. Pallbearers will be Glynn Presley, Rusty Presley, Kenneth N. ARSENAULT -- ALBERT "AL" EDWARD Born July 23, 1931, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 24, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Alice Arsenault; seven children, Ed Arsenault and Annett Gomez of Killeen TX, Nikki Joseph and husband, John of Albuquerque, Alana Bennett and husband, Russ of Modesto CA, Roylene Mills and husband, Les of Rio Rancho, NM, Jo Hughes and husband, Dave of Dalbo MN, Roy Arsenault and Cyndee Tabhan of San Antonio, TX, and Jon Arsenault and wife, Gina of Albuquerque; sisters, Florence Hernandez of Florida and Beverly Houghton of Florida; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with many other family members and friends. Al was born in Newburyport, MA. After high school, he enlisted in the US Air Force and retired after serving our country for 21 years. He served as a Security Police Officer and Military Training Instructor. After retirement, he was the Chief of Police on the Towaoc Indian Reservation in Colorado. Al then moved to Stanley NM and worked as a Security Guard at Sandia National Labs. Al also received a degree in Business Administration. Al spent his final years living in Hawley, TX before moving last year to the Albuquerque/Rio Rancho area in order to be close to family. Funeral services will be held at French-Westside Chapel Thursday, June 28, at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at 3:00 pm, at Santa Fe National Cemetery with full military honors. BLAUGRUND -- MARVIN LEE Age 67, Husband, Father, Highly Respected Dentist, Golfer, Marathon Runner, Veteran, long time native of Albuquerque New Mexico passed away with his family by his side June 23, 2012. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder and graduated from Baylor Dental School in Dallas Texas in 1971. After Dental school he was an Officer in the US Army stationed in Heidelberg Germany for 3 years. When he left the Army as a Major he returned to Albuquerque where he opened his Dental Practice in 1974. The Blaugrund family has been members of Congregation Albert for over 50 years. Son of Ilse and Sigmund Blaugrund. He is survived by his mother Ilse Blaugrund, wife Edie and daughters Stacy and Dana. He is survived by his sister and brother in law Maxine and Steve Miller and many other family members. He loved his dogs Heineken, Schnapps, Midori, Bacardi, Douli, and Sangria. He was honored and named as one of the top dentists in Albuquerque. His patients loved, admired, and respected him. He was the Best Dad in the whole world and will be very missed. The funeral was held at Congregation Albert on Monday June 25, 2012 and graveside services followed at Fairview Memorial Park. CUEVAS -- MARICRUZ Age 10, born August 31, 2001. Our Little Angel went to be with the Lord on June 22, 2012. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Jorge Chavira. She is survived by her parents, Jorge and Alisha Cuevas; siblings, Maria and Jorge Jr.; grandmother, Tina Mendoza; grandmother, Josefina Cuevas of Chihuahua, Mexico; grandfather, Leroy Lopez. FLORES -- LORRAINE A longtime resident of Albuquerque, NM, Lorraine Flores, 89, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 24, 2012 following a lengthy illness. She was surrounded by friends and family at the time of her passing. She was born Lorraine Mary Frost to Henry and Josephine in Dubuque, Iowa on April 12, 1923 and was the 3rd of 4 children. She graduated from Dubuque High School in 1941 and worked at the Dubuque Packing Company for a short time. In 1944, during World War II, she joined the U.S. Navy as part of the Woman Accepted for Voluntary Emergency Service (WAVES) program and was stationed at the Naval Hospital Shoemaker, California. While there, she met U.S. Marine Sgt. Hugo Flores, whom she would marry at war's end in 1945. In 1946, Lorraine moved back to Dubuque and gave birth to the couple's first child, Carol. Hugo completed his service in 1947 and they lived in Dubuque for a short time before moving to Albuquerque, NM in 1948 and then to Madrid, NM where their second child Greg was born. In 1949, the couple returned to Albuquerque where the rest of their children, Richard, Pam, Mike and Tim were born. They have resided at their current home in the Northeast Heights since 1952. Lorraine worked for Albuquerque Public Schools for five years and at Valley Gold Dairies for six. She also served as the executive secretary for the Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce. She was very active in the American Legion Auxiliary and worked with the Boys State Program. A lifelong Catholic, she was an active member of Queen of Heaven Parish in Albuquerque since moving to their present home in 1952. She, along with Hugo, were avid fans of the University of New Mexico Lobo men's basketball team. She was preceded in death by her father, mother and brother Bob. She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 66 years, Hugo; her sister, Virginia; brother, Charlie; her two daughters, Carol Torres and husband, Eddie; Pam Highum; her four sons, Greg Flores and wife, Deborah; Richard Flores and wife, Barbara; Michael Flores and wife, Barbara; Tim Flores and wife, Susan; 15 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. A Rosary and Mass of Christian burial will be held at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 27 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave. NE. Lorraine will be laid to rest on Thursday, June 28th with full military honors at Santa Fe National Cemetery. HERRERA -- ELFEGO "JOHN" Age 73, a resident of Albuquerque, passed on Sunday, June 24, 2012. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Maldonado and husband, Tony; his grandchildren, Gianna and Anthony "TJ"; his sister, Mary Lucero and husband, Harold; his sister, Regina Avila and husband, Mike; his niece, Kimberly Rees and husband, Greg and their daughter, Dylan; and his nephew, Kevin Lucero. John was preceded in death by Jennifer's mother, Viola Napoleone Herrera; and by his parents, Elfego and Aselia Herrera. John was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following his favorite teams on television. He was a long-time member of Holy Rosary Parish. John was known for his immaculate yard maintenance and landscaping. SEDILLO -- ADAM was born August 31, 1935 in Chilili, NM. He passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012. Adam was preceded in death by his parents, Salomon Sr. and Eloisa Sedillo; brothers, Salomon (Tito), Alfred, Benny and Zenobio Sedillo; son, Dennis Sedillo; daughter, Martha Baca and granddaughter, Victoria Montano.
