FRANKENFELD -- PHILIP Philip was born on December 7th, 1919 in Enid, Oklahoma and passed away peacefully in the comfort of loved ones on July 28th, 2011 in Plano, Texas. Phil was the youngest of five brothers to parents, Theodore and Pearl Frankenfeld. He graduated from Enid High School and moved to Washington, D.C. and took a job with the Naval Department. It was there that he began dating his future wife, Mary Helen Hopwood, and they were married January 10th, 1942. He was later drafted into the Army in 1943 and served in the Army Air Corp, stationed in the Philippines and Okinawa. Phil and his four brothers all served in the military during WWII and were most fortunate to all return home when the war concluded. Phil eventually followed his brothers and parents, with wife and daughter, Mary Beth, to relocate to Albuquerque, NM. There he enrolled at the University of New Mexico and earned his business degree. As a result, Phil became a life-long fan, forever following the Lobos, through their wins and losses, up until the end of his life. His working career in New Mexico included the automobile, real estate and construction industries, retiring from Jaynes Corporation in 1977. Phil then entered the education profession, teaching accounting and business classes at Albuquerque TVI. While from a very humble beginning, Philip was a renaissance man of sorts - he designed and built his family's homes, was an avid reader, always shared his opinions on politics, loved fishing the San Juan River in NM, was the ultimate "fix-it" guy and never met a card game he did not like, especially bridge, cribbage and pinochle. A devoted and loving husband, Phil was married 57 years to Mary Helen. After her passing in 1999, Phil later met Joanne Mashburn, and they were married in 2001 and enjoyed 10 wonderful years together. Equally important, Phil was a loving and committed father to daughter, Mary Beth Frankenfeld and son, Ken Frankenfeld. Best of all was his love for his grandchildren, Chad Hill, Kenya Hill; Kevin, Kyle and Caroline Frankenfeld; and six from his extended family with Joanne in Texas. Phil was preceded in death by his four brothers; his first wife, Mary Helen; and grandson, Chad Hill. He is survived by his wife Joanne; daughter, Mary Beth; son, Ken and wife Sarah; ten grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and Joanne's adult children and spouses, who lovingly adopted Phil as their own father. Phil's family would like to extend their sincere thanks to all his doctors, nurses and caregivers, especially Dr. Emil Freireich of M.D. Anderson; Sharon, his nurse at Plano Presbyterian Hospital; and all at Faith Presbyterian Hospice that cared for Phil during the last days of his life. A Memorial Mass was held on Monday, August 1, 2011 in Allen, TX. Ennichment services will be at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd., NE, Albuquerque, NM on Friday, August 5th, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Any contributions in Phil's memory are requested to be made to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas or the charity of your choice.

O'DONNELL -- KAREN SUE Age 67, went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Karen was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dale M. O'Donnell (12/31/30 - 12/07/98); her father, Pastor G. Roger Woodall (02/11/20 03/26/05) and her mother, Kathryn L. Woodall (02/28/20 - 11/01/08). Karen is survived by her daughter, Kelly Christine Sanchez (47); her son, Patrick Martin O'Donnell (44); two sisters, Mary Kay Hunter of Kingwood, TX and Rebecca Ruth Gast of Lubbock, TX and their husbands and children. Karen was born in Farmington, NM, the second of three daughters. Karen moved several times growing up as her father, a Preacher of God's Word, was assigned to churches from Arizona to Louisiana. It was during Roger's time in Albuquerque that Karen met Dale Martin O'Donnell who would later become her husband in 1962. As Dale was building a door company and lumber yard, Karen stayed at home to raise Kelly Christine born in 1963 and later Patrick Martin born in 1967. She firmly believed that her calling was to raise her children in the fear and admonition of the Lord and the only way she could do this was to forgo any career aspirations. Karen was an extraordinary mother and wife. Her relationship with the Lord Jesus prompted her devotion to her husband, the raising of her children and praying daily for her family and friends. Every life she touched benefited from her faith and friendship. Karen cherished teaching Sunday School Classes and mentoring young women at Hoffmantown Baptist Church. In addition to her spiritual callings, she became involved in Albuquerque city politics, fighting for the beautification and zoning of the then developing Northeast Heights. Above all, Karen loved the Lord. Second came her family and friends, many of whom called upon her day or night for her prayers and loving counsel. Karen also loved animals and the O'Donnell household was replete with dogs. She even cared for Darby, her son's pet tarantula as he and his then wife had cats that were constantly threatening the spider. Friends may visit French - Wyoming Chapel Wednesday, August 3, 2011 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Services will be held Thursday, August 4, 2011, 1:00 p.m., also at French - Wyoming Chapel. RAMIREZ -- JORGELUIS GERONIMO 3/2/74-8/3/10 "The Broken Chain" We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly. In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. One year has passed and you are, and always will be, in our hearts. Never goodbye, only "see you later". With all our love, Irene, Eddie, Julianna, and Giovanni Te extrano mucho Luis!!!
