BUELL -- Katherine Morbella Spates Buell, 83, died on November 5, 2010. Katherine is survived by her children, Donna Smith, Janice DeLorenzo and husband, Donald, Nancy Clatanoff, James Spates and wife, Barbara, Jacqueline Jayne and husband, Michael, Cynthia Gilbert and husband, Don; grandchildren, Tonya Strange, Andrea Jones, Sarah (Katie) DeLorenzo, Stephen Spates, Ryan Spates, Christin Lindsey, Jill Rodriguez, Jeremy Spates, Loren Jayne, Heather McKnight, Kimberly Rushing, Travis Gilbert, Brett Gilbert and 11 great-grandchildren. Step-children, Reed Buell and wife Barbara, Linn Buell and wife Laurie; step-grandchildren, Tamara Nichelson, Brent Buell, Taryn Lower, Courtney Custer, Chelsea Layman, Lindsey Groft, Allison Popa, and 11 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Waldo Seckman Spates; her second husband, Harold Chapin Buell; her son, Waldo Seckman Spates, Jr.; her sisters, Josephine Morbella and Mary Leeper; and brother, John Morbella. Katherine lived and worked in New Mexico from 1951 and retired from American Bank of Commerce in 1983. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church. Katherine loved her life and lived it to its fullest each day. She loved her family, her many, many dear friends, Lobo basketball, the casino, an occasional margarita, and a good piece of chocolate. A celebration of Katherine's life will be held Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's United Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona N.E., with Rev. Clyde Stanfield officiating. Honorary Pallbearers are: James Spates, Don DeLorenzo, Michael Jayne, Don Gilbert, James Strange, Larry Smith, Linn Buell and David Cholet. BULLOCK -- Scott Evan Bullock, 56, a resident of Albuquerque since 1988, passed away, Wednesday, November 4, 2010. Scott was born and raised in Butte, MT. He is survived by his wife, Janet; and their three children, Matthew, Steven, and Lindsey Bullock; two daughters-in-law, Samantha and Jamie; one grandchild, Kierstin Lynn. Scott worked at Intel Corp., Phillips Semiconductor, and was currently employed by Sandia National Laboratory where he was a Electronics Technician for nine years. Scott had many friends and impacted so many lives in so many ways. BURNHAM -- Perry H. Burnham of The Woodlands died peacefully at his home on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the age of 94. Madeline, his loving wife of 62 years and his brother, Robert O. Burnham preceded him in death. Perry is survived by his four children, Marilyn McBride, Peter Burnham, Cynthia McBride and Nancy Burnham as well as 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 10th at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodland, TX 77384. There also be a memorial service at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio. The date of this service will be announced in the near future. Perry was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and earned his B.A. degree from the University of Utah in 1937 with majors in accounting and business. He then attended law school at Stanford University before earning is L.L.B. degree from the University of Utah in 1941. Perry honorably served in WWII as a Combat Intelligence Officer for the 92nd Bomb Group, 8th Air Force. He returned home at war's end to marry Madeline Albers of Portland, OR. Perry was recalled to military active duty at the onset of the Korean War leaving his private law practice and a promising political future in Salt Lake City. Perry had a distinguished career in the U.S. Air Force serving in several major commands as a Staff Judge Advocate before retiring in 1976. He went on to serve the City of Castle Hills (near San Antonio, TX) for 12 years as Councilman and Mayor. Perry was also actively involved in many local and national civic endeavors. He continued to practice law until a few months before his passing.

COLVIN -- Marc J., age 86, passed away on November 5, 2010. He was born and raised in Casper, Wyoming, but has lived in Albuquerque for 40 years. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joanne M. Colvin and brother Daniel E. Colvin and wife Jean of Hemit, Calf. He also is survived by two children: Karen L. Colvin and husband John Pillman of Sheboygan, Wisconsin and Lance J. Colvin and wife Monica of Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren: Hayley M. Jones of Iowa City, Iowa and Ryder G. Colvin of Las Vegas, NV. Marc served in World War II and retired as a Lt. Colonel in the Air Force after 27 years. He also was employed by E.G. & G. in Research and Development for 15 years. He was a long time member of Sombra Del Monte Christian Church, 2525 Vermont St. NE. Memorial service will be held at a later date. DURAN -- Virginia A. Duran born April 16, 1913 in Norton, NM but lived most of her life in Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her parents, Petrolino and Adela M. Anaya; husband, Alfredo Amado Duran; two brothers, Aniceto and Jose Anaya; two sisters, Cecelia Trujillo and Rebecca Montoya. She is survived by her three children; Jerry and wife, Mary Duran, Alicia and husband, Gene Guerin, Julius and wife, Donna Duran. She is also survived by three generations of grand, great and great-great grandchildren and her dedicated Paloma Blanca caregivers, Judith Duran and Diana. Virginia's active years were spent giving of her time to God in the Cursillo Movement, the Weekend of Christian Living Ministries and the Legion of Mary. She was promoter of the Miraculous Medal and a member of the Sacred Heart League of San Felipe Church. HENDERSON -- James T. Henderson, 71, a sinner saved by God's Grace, went to see his Lord on November 7, 2010. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nona Mayhew and father, Leon Henderson. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Grace (Gay); three sons, Christopher and wife Terri, Kevin and wife Brawna, Kyle and wife Heather (all devout Christians); and seven grandchildren. He served as an Elder at Heights Christian and Fellowship Community Churches. He recently led the Prayer Ministry in his Connection Class at Hoffmantown Church, where he was an active member since the late 1980s. He was a strong advocate of the beliefs of our Founding Fathers and the precepts of our Constitution. He received his MSEE in Computer Engineering from UNM and worked on various national projects, including the Apollo program. He retired from Sandia National Labs in 2002, where he was a staff member, supervisor and manager. One hobby, before retirement and continuing afterward, was helping people with all aspects of computer use and troubleshooting. He loved music and played piano, organ and keyboard. A memorial service for James will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Hoffmantown Church, at 8888 Harper Drive NE, with Pastor Ken Moore officiating. MORALES -- Frank A. Morales, 62, passed away, November 5, 2010. He was born February 17, 1948, in Logan, New Mexico, to Clorio Morales and Anne Trinidad Cordova. Frank is survived by his children, Jeana Moralez-Norris and husband Dwayne of Albuquerque, Paul Morales and wife Bertha of Rio Rancho, Frank Moralez, Jr. and wife Magali of Albuquerque, Senaida Gallegos and husband Frank of El Paso, TX, and Jose E. Morales of Rio Rancho. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Elijah Morales-Domina, Talen Domina, Jaidyn Domina, Arturo Moralez, and, Noel Gallegos, Evangelina Moralez-Norris, Julian Gallegos, and Alexander Moralez, and his brothers and sisters, Richard Moralez, Bennie Moralez, Emily Martinez, Susie Langenhuizen, Herman Moralez, Danny Moralez and Teresa Underwood and mother-in-law Evangelina Sisneros Frank was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Connie in 2004. Frank was a life long resident of New Mexico and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas. He was devoted to his family and was always ready and willing to help anyone. Frank loved being outdoors; so, camping with his family was Frank's great love. OTERO -- David Otero, Jr., 55, born August 19, 1955, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away Saturday, November 6, 2010. David is survived by his children, Manny Otero, Carlos Otero, and Dominic Otero and companion, Tara Lang; granddaughters, Denise Otero and Izabella Lang; father, David Otero, Sr.; brothers, Mike Otero and Daniel Otero; sister, Jackie Garza; mother of his children, Dolores Romero; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, Godchildren, cousins, and friends. David was preceded in death by his mother, Lora Otero. David was a graduate of West Mesa High School, New Mexico Military Institute, and a UNM alumni. David was a UNM basketball player and high school basketball coach and a big supporter of high school basketball. David had a big impact on his family and the community, through his generosity and his big loving heart for everyone. ZOLLER -- JoAnn R. Zoller lost her battle to cancer and passed on to her heavenly family on Saturday, November 6, 2010. Born JoAnn Ruth Thorson on November 10, 1944 to Clarence "Pete" and Irene Thorson, she was preceded in death by both parents. She married James Wittkowske who, also, preceded her in death. They had two children, a son, James Wittkowske, Kr. (Margie) who lives in Rio Rancho, NM, and a daughter, Jill Rogers (Gary) who lives in Roswell, NM. JoAnn was blessed with a second chance at love and on October 18, 2002 married David R. Zoller, who survives her at the family home. JoAnn and David own Westside Insurance Services. She enjoyed spending time with her family and pets, watching sports events and traveling. She was a quiet person whom people found kind and considerate. In addition to her husband, Dave, and children, she is survived by her sister, Elain Frary of Hartford, AL; her grandchildren, Tiare K. Johnson, Joshua K. Johnson, Turia K. Johnson, Joleen R. Johnson, Justin Rogers, Ryan Rogers and Jordan Rogers; her great-grandchildren, Moanatea Johnson, Aryanna Johnson, Teyanna Johnson and Kymani-Lyric R. Johnson, as well as her extended family and friends.
